Cheap and cheerful. The hotel is dated and could really use a refresh. Coffee available in foyer but not consistent. Outside pool a nice touch and welcome dip but jacuzzi and surrounds a bit icky.

The pool was great. The motel is nice and the staff very friendly and helpful. Renovating the restaurant would be an awesome perk!!

Stay was fine. Website shows restaurants at the resort and therre are none, it shows a game room with pool table and ping pong and that was not to be found, there was only 1 hot tub not 3 like the photos of the resort. The desk person stated they are working on getting a restaurant back in there. These were not deal breakers since we had pleant to do and see. All in all it was nice enough, rooms were comfortable and roomy.

Less expensive choice for the area, writing this june 2024- be aware that both indoor and outdoor pools were closed. Outdoor pool to be closed all summer, indoor to open in (what the front desk said) roughly 1 month to 6 weeks. Beds were comfy enough and shower was hot. AC worked well. Breakfast spread could use improvement. If you are looking for a room and a bed and no real ammenities, this place is a great choice.

Was told there is a sauna and two extra hot tubs but all of it was closed. Only reason I went here as opposed to a better place. Even the confirmation email said enjoy.our sauna on it.

If the pool hours are 10-10, why are you doing maintenance at 10 a.m.? Hotels are straight up lying about when you should be able to access the pool and hot tub.

Summer weekend stay. was able to use all the facilities - both the indoor and the outdoors pools and the hot tub. All were surprisingly uncrowded. All clean, very nice, I enjoyed the experience. The restaurant was decent and not too expensive. Good stay all around.

I love that this hotel has an outdoor + indoor pools and a Jacuzzi! In the summer, especially the outdoor pool. Even though I was staying on a weekend, I was there alone, the view is great, it was just such a pleasure. The room was pretty dated, especially the lavatory. Renovation is overdue. Water T was hard to regulate, although the shower head & pressure was good. The staff was helpful & friendly, albeit the room was not serviced during my stay - but that seems now to be a common practice in the US after Covid, unlike in Europe, unfortunately. Located conveniently to the town center/shopping area, but not a walking distance (or a long walk). There is at least one cafe in a walking distance though.

Shuttle to Stowe mountain (last stop). Several hot Jacuzzi’s, comfortable bed and a decent size room. A piece of pastry in the morning and coffee. A nice surprise, the attached restaurant was decent. We took advantage of it on two really snowy nights.

Exceeded expectations. The lobby area was nicely decorated for the holidays with couch and table seating and there is a great "kitchen" nook for coffee, tea and hot chocolate and some simple continental breakfast items. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and the staff was very pleasant and helpful. While there are some dated aspects to the hotel, we barely noticed. It was definitely the best 2 star hotel we have stayed at!

Front check in was pleasant although very talkative and did not seem to care that perhaps guests didn't have the time to wait around. Housekeeping did a poor job of cleanliness in the room. Rug was obviously not vacuumed, bedding had not been changed and was old and stained on top of that, papers on the nightstand with coffee stains on them, dust on surfaces. Hotel was in poor repair. Stains on the ceiling, tiles on the bathroom floor coming up as you step on them, just overall needing lots of work. I am use to staying in thrifty hotels and not expecting much, but I wont compromise cleanliness and this one is a place I wont return to. The friend I traveled with who was in another room said the same thing and was grossed out when she found nail clippings in her bedding,

Roommate’s bed had soiled linen on bottom sheet—appeared to have not been changed. Had to request new set of sheets. Terrible pillows, small and lumpy. Carpet on floor had dark spots. Dirty walls in room. Spoke to assistant manager who said manager not available for next 3 days, so unable to discuss compensation.

The whole place is old and run down, the rooms had a smell to it, the beds were uncomfortable. All the windows at this place are filthy and our lock on our window was broken. This place has people living there. This is some part of section 8 housing' We were disappointed with this stay and will not go back.

The hotel and surrounding grounds are very well kept and by no means prepare you for the interior. The hotel is old, dated and musty smelling, the lounge furniture is old and appears stained and dirty. The room itself was clean and very basic, also dated. Breakfast is indescribable, extremely basic and lacking thereof, coffee and tea, a couple of boxes of cereal and it could be a donut delight if you like donuts for breakfast. Boxed donuts and a few bagels supplied by Dunkin Donuts. Fortunately, Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream factory is just down the road, we went there for breakfast. Overall, if you arrive late, leave early and just want a place to put your head for a couple of hours, it's okay

Got there a little early they let us check in. The hotel is dated. Was disappointed the pool was empty we did not get notified. There was a strong smell in the back hallway of urine. Not sure if it was dog or person. It was strong. The showers were really hot which my husband liked. The room was clean. The beds were somewhat comfortable. The noise, whoever was staying above us sounded like elephants. It went on till 10:00 pm started up at 4:00 am. Decent location. Got nice tips from gentleman at front desk.

Cant believe this was 330$ a night hotel. Outdated bathrooms, old carpets and the place smelled like musty and like people have been smoking in the hallways. Coffee and tea only downstairs nothing for kids. No coffee maker or tissues in room. Pillows are all flat. King size sheets on a quenn size bed. We had a room facing the road. The window wouldnt close and latch so we heard every car that went by. Wifi not acceptable at all either for the year 2025.

Hotel needs updating. Rooms are outdated and not as clean as they should be. Smoke alarm was missing. Wires hanging from the ceiling. Windows so dirty it was hard to see outside. Mildew on the shower rod and hooks. Vanity light sometimes worked and other times didn’t.

The Commodores Inn was a tired hotel in need of updating. The room was fine and clean but the lobby, hallways and other spaces were well worn. Also, it is located on a busy road and not in walking distance of any restaurants or the nice downtown area. The front desk had no guidance either for good restaurants for dinner. The price was very high compared to the condition of the place.

Our room was very warm when we arrived, the thermostat read 76*, we were unable to sleep at that temperature, but our air conditioner didn't work either- the knob was broken off and had no way to turn on. We were just told to crack a window (which had no screen).

An older property but my bed was comfortable, nice big room with table & chairs, and there’s a lovely patio area on a pond in the back of the hotel. I would definitely stay here again & recommend it to others coming to the area.

This is a quaint, spacious property with a pond in the back. Our room was large with a modern bathroom and overlooked the pond. It was very quiet. Also, much less expensive than other properties. Room preferences were honored. The man who checked us in was very nice. Location was convenient.

Stayed overnight after a full day of skiing. Check in was easy. The staff was super friendly. I requested a cot and a fan. In minutes the staff fulfilled my request. I would stay here again.

If you’re looking for a reasonably priced hotel that is convenient to downtown Stowe this is a great option. It was clean enough but definitely in need of some major updating. We arrived at 6 pm to check in and there was a sign at the 24 hour desk that the attendant had stepped away and would be back in a few minutes. We waited 20 minutes for someone to return despite ringing the bell and calling the hotel’s number. When the attendant returned he said he had been making a house call and he smelled very strongly of alcohol. At check out, we again found an empty desk. I was hesitant to leave our keys in the provided bin since they’re the old school style of key with the room number printer right on them. When the attendant arrived, she was rather rude. Would I stay here again though? Yes, totally. Hard to beat that price in Stowe.

We waited 20 minutes for someone to return despite ringing the bell and calling the hotel’s number. When the attendant returned he said he had been making a house call and he smelled very strongly of alcohol. At check out, we again found an empty desk. I was hesitant to leave our keys in the provided bin since they’re the old school style of key with the room number printer right on them. When the attendant arrived, she was rather rude. Would I stay here again though? Yes, totally. Hard to beat that price in Stowe.

I asked for a check in at 1pm. They said my room would be ready at 2:30. No problem. The common area was comfortable and stocked with local literature. Enough to kill an hour. At 3 pm I was told my room was ready. Solid. You can’t ask for a more prompt and cordial check in.

This is an older hotel. We have stayed at several times. This time the staff at the front desk was not particularly welcoming or friendly. We had traveled a long distance and had stopped by early in the day to ask if they could please notify us when the room was ready, a woman at the desk informed us that they would not be possible that they do not notify people if their rooms are right under any circumstances. But we should just come back later in the day. Rooms are not being serviced at this hotel at all, they are still in a Covid mode, and we got the impression they will not service rooms going forward, no matter how long to stay. we were seeing short time so this was not too big a deal, but if I was staying longer I would not be happy about this. We have stayed here several times over the last several years and it seems as if the property is not being maintained as well as it was in the past. Still an OK place, for a short day, but I’m not sure I would consider it in the future

The Commodores Inn was a tired hotel in need of updating. The room was fine and clean but the lobby, hallways and other spaces were well worn. Also, it is located on a busy road and not in walking distance of any restaurants or the nice downtown area. The front desk had no guidance either for good restaurants for dinner. The price was very high compared to the condition of the place.

I liked the hotel. The food at the attached restaurant was very good. The issue is I put in my search for a hotel close to smugglers notch. Travelocity said this hotel was 10 miles from there so I booked. It’s more than 30 miles away and a 48 minute drive.

The Commodores Hotel is a friendly, clean, and comfortable hotel. There is a sports bar on the first floor that has really good food. There is toast/bagels, coffee and tea for breakfast.

Hospitality of staff. Easy check in and check out. Very nice to have fresh coffee all day and access to a toaster and microwave. Used the kitchen area in the lobby every morning.

The hotel and surrounding grounds are very well kept and by no means prepare you for the interior. The hotel is old, dated and musty smelling, the lounge furniture is old and appears stained and dirty. The room itself was clean and very basic, also dated. Breakfast is indescribable, extremely basic and lacking thereof, coffee and tea, a couple of boxes of cereal and it could be a donut delight if you like donuts for breakfast. Boxed donuts and a few bagels supplied by Dunkin Donuts. Fortunately, Ben and Jerry's Ice Cream factory is just down the road, we went there for breakfast. Overall, if you arrive late, leave early and just want a place to put your head for a couple of hours, it's okay

Shuttle to Stowe mountain (last stop). Several hot Jacuzzi’s, comfortable bed and a decent size room. A piece of pastry in the morning and coffee. A nice surprise, the attached restaurant was decent. We took advantage of it on two really snowy nights.

What a wonderful place to stay. The staff in this hotel treats you like you were family. One person in particular was David he was the night clerk. I was in town on business and I had forgotten my phone charger my phone was almost dead and he let me use his own personal one.ive never had that happen in any other facility. Then let me talk about the beds...most comfortable of all. Its the best night's I've had in forever

Ok for a 3 star. Decor could use updating. Room lacked tissues which usually are provided even in economy hotels. Some staff not particularly friendly. On plus side nice setting and nice pool.

Mandy on the front desk was extremely rude and insulting attitude. We chose not to engage and came back when another person was at the desk. The beds and sheets were rough and pillows were obviously old. We had no other options and stayed in the room a minimal amount of time at additional cost to us. Stay away from this property.
