Super 8 by Wyndham White River Junction

Last time at the White River Junction Super8, we had to try three rooms before we got one that didn't smell funny. Previous clients had smoked things in them. This time we tried a couple of rooms, and the best one wasn't really satisfactory. The management hasn't renovated and hasn't kept things free of smells.

If you're into nostalgia, this is the place for you. Everything about the motel *seemed* like it was original – from the 1950s. The desk chair back was broken and the easy chair was extremely worn. There were marks on the walls and door frames. However, the place was clean, and the bed and pillows were comfy. The staff members were quite pleasant. Outside, the motel is showing even more age. But the price for the area is reasonable, its proximity to highways and byways is excellent, and every hotel/motel looks the same when you close your eyes. If you want to pay for a classy room, look elsewhere. And would we stay there again on future visits? No.

Everything was wonderful

I checked in, went to my room and immediately checked out. Entire property was disgusting, trash in walkways, mold in some rooms, cigarette burns in bathtub. Appears to have some long-term renters. Online pictures are very outdated; they look to be 10 - 20 years old with no updates done since then.
