Great place to stay while visiting son at Western. The bathroom is nice…shower had good pressure and a ledge for shaving legs, in addition to jetted tub. Had a lighted magnifying mirror…love those extra touches geared towards us ladies. Could not figure how to cast my phone to smart TV but that’s just probably user error. Parking in safe garage, several dining options are nice. Easy drive to WWU. Pretty view of marina. Good service. Clean. Comfy bed.

Lovely waterfront location, easy parking, terrific views from our waterside patio. Delightful, well appointed room with THE most comfortable bed! (I’ll be asking the front desk for details on the mattress 😊) Plenty of dining options with harbor views within walking distance. Would definitely stay here again

Wonderful property and staff! Grounds and room were very nice. Enjoyed using one of the bikes on the property and rode over to the park. Excellent dinner at the Lighthouse Bar and Grill.

We stayed here while on a road trip through the PNW with our dog. We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were so friendly and welcoming of our dog. They gave us a dog bed and some bowls and treats and when we went for a cocktail at the lounge they were so accommodating with us leaving our dog in our room. They just said they would keep an ear out and let us know if he was barking. Now to the lounge! We had such a great experience here as well. We enjoyed great wine and cocktails and wonderful food. We had breakfast there as well and had an AMAZING crab benedict. Best ever. We highly recommend and would stay here again in a heart beat. ❤️

This hotel was an absolute treat. It was beautiful, comfy, clean, and very relaxing. The bay view suite was perfect and provided us with a beautiful view of the water and we even got to see a giant Sea Lion right outside our room! This place also provided free EV charging for our car, which I was not expecting. I definitely would stay here again.

Bathroom floor was covered in someone else's hair(I was traveling solo), Coffee maker in room had old coffee in it Bartender on 1st night was absolutely horrible. My dinner at the hotel restaurant- rice was dry, shrimp were overcooked and the mussels were undercooked They didn't ice any of the sidewalks or roads making it very hazardous. Check in was very courteous and helpful, but after that front desk help didn't show much concern about the issue with my room.

We had an excellent stay at the Bellwether. The room was very spacious, well laid out, and appointed. We loved having the gas fireplace in the room. It was winter, so we didn't spend time on the balcony, but the view was terrific. The staff is some of the friendliest you can hope for. It is a short drive into town, and the walks around the area where the hotel is were great. The EV chargers in the garage are a great bonus. We were truly pleased with service, room, cleanliness. No complaints at all. We will definitely stay again if plans bring us to Bellingham.

The couch and pillows had a bad order and were covered in pet hair, to the point of covering our clothes after sitting on it briefly. The staff responded well by sending someone to clean it once we called, but it made the couch less inviting after that experience.

This truly felt like a high end boutique hotel experience. The setting is lovely and the rooms were incredibly spacious, clean, with tons of amenities. The bathrooms though! So luxurious! Free parking in a gated garage was a huge plus and the access to downtown Bellingham was wonderful without being "downtown". We can't wait to come back!

The Hotel Bellwether is Amazing. We had a beautiful bay view from a premier room on the second floor. The room was fabulous -- clean, comfortable and all amenities available. However the second day we were awakened by someone on the floor above us walking heavily and rapidly. I would definitely stay at the Hotel Bellwether again; but I would request a third floor room.

Beautiful getaway, we had a balcony with a gorgeous Bayview Hotel provided comfy robes, sleepers, Nespresso coffee . Jet tub definitely made our good night sleep even more enjoyable. Luxurious beds, pillows, bedding. Loved it!

We return to the Bellwether Hotel annually for a respite. It is a wonderful location, very nice accommodations and fabulous views of the harbor. The restaurant is absolutely tops with creative and fresh offerings. The staff is professional and efficient. We continue to return often.

The staff at this property were amazing ! They went above and beyond to accommodate us and we also got an upgrade. My brother had just passed away..and the staff was so helpful and friendly..just amazing people!! The room was Beautiful....beyond any hotel we have ever stayed. We will definitely be back soon. The Bellwether is a great place to stay in Bellingham, WA. Right on the harbor with views. Quiet. Friendly staff. It’s outside of town, so if you want to be in the center without driving or walking a mile or so, choose a different hotel. Fairhaven, nearby, is a must visit.

Staff was very pleasant. Beautiful location on the water with nice views. You can hear the train drive by each day so if you’re a light sleeper it will wake you up.

This is such a beautiful hotel with an absolutely wonderful staff. It has an intriguing art collection that invites exploring. The outside walk along the water is lovely. We used it for a boat trip in the San Juans and will be back in the spring to see the tulips in Skagit Valley. The nearby town of Fairhaven had some very lovely shops too. Staying here adds to the pleasure of a trip

We had a wonderful 3 night get-a-way stay at the Hotel Bellwether. The service was so friendly and accommodating and the room so nice and comfortable with a lovely view of the marina and the beautiful sunsets each night. Easy access to WWU, Fairhaven and downtown Bellingham. The flat paved walking paths and the lovely park near the marina were an added bonus. We are hoping to return soon.

We return to the Bellwether Hotel annually for a respite. It is a wonderful location, very nice accommodations and fabulous views of the harbor. The restaurant is absolutely tops with creative and fresh offerings. The staff is professional and efficient. We continue to return often.

Forget the restaurant for breakfast. It cost $16 just for breakfast. I ordered the french toast with bacon. The toast came burried in powdered sugar, they have no sugar free syrup to offer only regular. I received 3 half pieces of unidentifiable bread that was blackened everywhere. I had to cut off the crusts and scrape off a lot of the black to eat this at all. I asked them to bring me butter which I put on the bread and then put the side of berries that came with the french toast over the slices and ate some of it. The two pieces of bacon were not like regular bacon, they were small and did not appear like regular bacon. Their breakfast could use a lot of improvement or maybe a new cook!!

Wonderful property and staff! Grounds and room were very nice. Enjoyed using one of the bikes on the property and rode over to the park. Excellent dinner at the Lighthouse Bar and Grill.

We stayed here while on a road trip through the PNW with our dog. We had an absolutely fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were so friendly and welcoming of our dog. They gave us a dog bed and some bowls and treats and when we went for a cocktail at the lounge they were so accommodating with us leaving our dog in our room. They just said they would keep an ear out and let us know if he was barking. Now to the lounge! We had such a great experience here as well. We enjoyed great wine and cocktails and wonderful food. We had breakfast there as well and had an AMAZING crab benedict. Best ever. We highly recommend and would stay here again in a heart beat. ❤️

The hotel is nice if a littel dated. Our room was big and spacious with a well stocked fridge and snack bar. The fire place is very nice. The balcony is shared with other rooms on the same side of the building and floor The grout around the tub is cracking and falling apart and water pressure in the shower was not good, The staff should be trained to help guest with normal travel questions. I needed to rent a car and no one at the front desk could help. The one employee behind the counter said - Im not even old enough to rent a car - that shouldnt exclude her from being able to help a customer with info.

We stay here prior to a sailing trip but it’s not just a stop over - it’s part of our holiday. The staff are super friendly and efficient. The food is amazing and we had a gorgeous suite overlooking the harbour. It’s our 3rd visit and already planning our 4th!
