Red Lion Inn and Suites Everett

It has definitely improved since the first time we stayed, and staff is much friendlier. Next door kind of trashy although close to hospital and community college. Machines in the workout room didn't work well, although at least it's open. A/C worked well, also microwave and fridge. Had plugs for our devices.

My original room had an issue the second night where the key wasn’t working. The manager on duty said that she would change out rooms for me. I waited but nobody came so I took a shower and went to bed. The next morning I asked about it and the man on duty said that my original room was vacant. I explained that I never got my other room and he took care of it but it just shows that there is no communication. Also, I would not call what they offer a continental breakfast. It’s more like cereal and coffee.

The ice machine did not work. The breakfast area was used for storage so no breakfast. The remote control for the TV did not work correctly. The room was huge with little furniture.

By far the worst Red Lion I have ever stayed at. We often stay at Red Lion in other places and have always been satisfied. But, this was different. Both the Red Lion website and Expedia listed the hotel as including free breakfast buffet. When we arrived, all the machines and chairs were dirty and piled in a corner of the food area. Staff politely shrugged and said we aren't serving breakfast now. The vending machines were almost completely empty, and did not appear to be fully functional. The parking lot is dirty, small, and access from the south is not marked- so you have to drive through the alleyway behind a liquor store to get to hotel. If you chose to park on the north side, you can park next to the filthy dumpster or the pile of buckets of used motor oil on the other side. The room was dirty, sticky, with multiple outlets and mirror broken. There was goose feces in the hallway that was never cleaned up. A dog barked down the hall for probably 15min each day. Overall, a VERY disappointing experience.

The door frame had broken into once before. It was fairly difficult to actually get into my room due to this.

The property was a pain to get too. You couldn't turn into the drive without going around the block. Only 1 way in or out. Floor in our room had stuff stuck on it so could've been cleaner.

Every time we stay at this Red Lion it gets better. Many of the items in the exercise room still don't work well, but this time we got a suite and it was HUGE!

The lobby sucked. No bathroom in lobby after long drive if needed! Parking lot and area felt sketchy

The ice machine did not work on either floor. Room was not clean nor the bathroom. Continental breakfast was less then stellar. No hot coffee and fruit was moldy. Also witnessed someone trying to break into a nearby house with a crowbar. He was also canvassing vehicles. Staff didnt seem too concerned. Not impressed for $150 a night

Both the gym and the breakfast room were closed for construction and we were not informed until after we had already booked/paid for the room.

During my stay, no housekeeper ever came to clean my room. In fact, even upon arrival, the room was in poor condition—with hair and paint scattered across the floor. When I asked the front desk about it, I was told a housekeeper would come in the morning, but no one ever showed up. I've never had an experience like this before.

The bedding was dirty, had to sleep on top of the bed. It look like they never change the sheets. 👎

I’ve never stayed at a worse hotel. I booked 3 nights and left after the first and refused to return and had to spend extra money for a new hotel. This Red Lion shouldn’t even be offered as a choice and I wish Hotels.com would refund me. There was mold on the ceiling of the bathroom, tooth paste splatter everywhere, the floor was filthy, and outside was a tweeker zombieland. One even dropped their pants and started going to the bathroom next to the building. It was noisy and people were fighting in the middle of the night. Staff was unhelpful and not very nice or professional. Photos online do not represent how this hotel actually looks. My husband accidentally spilt some juice on the floor and when we went to clean it with a towel the towels turned black from how dirty the floor was. It’s like the room was not even cleaned before they gave us the room.

Room was dirty and smelled like smoke. Mirror was broken and corner hidden behind tissues almost causing cut. Stains on window blinds and goo on wall. Bathroom not very clean. No breakfast at all even though it was advertised in booking and official website. Coffee service at end of hall was dirty and appeared empty for some time. (2nd day they did clean the coffee carafe and put out fresh coffee/cups) Bed was comfortable and appeared clean. No bed bugs or signs of them seen in room. Location was easy to get to and right off main roads.

Front desk service was great incoming. Bed: pretty comfortable but very creaky. Shower: had hair on the wall. Bathroom: had a funky smell, like someone had just used it. Towel rack was bent down. Door bolt wouldn't engage. Seemed like just another old motel someone bought and put a little money into and slapped a new name on. Was quiet and works if you are OK with below average cleanliness and maintenance but we won't be back.

Room hadn't been cleaned well (dust bunnies everywhere) and the shower drained so slowly that by the time I was finished with the shower my feet were completely submerged in water. Continental breakfast was also not provided the entire time I was there.

Everywhere was dirty, lobby, hallways and the rooms. Photos on expedia (and the hotels direct website) are misleading. Including the free breakfast, there is no free breakfast. They claim the just started Reno’s on the breakfast room, but now looking back on google reviews, they’ve been “renovating” the space for 6 months. First room we were given (302), had a broken door lock with garbage stuffed in it. Went back to the lobby to switch rooms and the front desk staffed seemed annoyed that I wanted a new room and the one worker was adamant they inspected the room. Second room we were moved to (311), beds were clean (thankfully), but the floors weren’t, there was toothpaste/soap splashes all over the sink walls, the light around the mirror didn’t work and the floor wasn’t very clean. Upon checkout, the front desk staff didn’t care it was dirty, nor did they care that we were annoyed about the breakfast. Offered us a discount to come back, won’t be stepping foot in their hotel again. Book somewhere else.

Omg!!! Horrible! Where do i start. Problems with their credit card machine. We were charged twice. No ice machine. Dirty room. The floor was completely sticky. Slippers kept sticking. No clock. Towels were awful. One of the towels looked used. The bed was okay. It was clean. No blanket. Remote didnt work. Stayed there for a funeral, it didnt make me feel any better.

We had moldy dishes under furniture, dirty socks under furniture, all the floors were filthy, sheets had shoe prints on them and the water in the shower smelled moldy

The room I had was still dirty, looked like it wasn’t cleaned very well especially the bathroom which had items left from the previous occupants. They didn’t leave enough wash cloths In the bathroom for two people. The bath tube was difficult to get in and out of because of how high it was. The room was at the end of the hallway across from ice machine which went off about every 20 minutes. There was also a couple arguing in front of the ice machine in the middle of night which woke up me and my friend. The beds were hard and uncomfortable to sleep on. We clerk at front desk was overheard being rude to another customer over the phone. I will never stay at another Red Lion after this experience!!!

The staff was rude. Our room was not swept. We had to bus our own room because no one ever came. Nothing to absorb the sound, so we could hear children running around upstairs. They didn't have supplies or food for the breakfast and closed it early. We were there for a sports tournament, but they kept the fitness room locked the entire day, leaving no space for us to warm-up before going to the tournament.

This was probably the worst hotel stay I've had in a long time. Here's a breakdown: 1. The bed was on some sort of frame wrapped in metal. Every time I got into bed the metal would make noises like it was going to break and it and the pillows were hardly better than an air mattress. 2. The room itself was okay except the sink in the bathroom was clogged and wouldn't drain and there was a grocery bag over our smoke detector. They did come fix the bathroom sink in day 3 of our stay but I never got a real answer as to why there was a grocery bag covering the smoke detector. 3. Continental breakfast. One of the appeals of staying was breakfast included. You know, less money spent on eating out. Well, continental breakfast does not exist at this hotel. Every morning I checked there was like 5 pieces of bread, two half empty containers of cereal and a small fridge with a few yogurts in it. Also, the juice machine was broken. That was it. It's advertised on their website and the lady that checked people in advertised it to each guest. False advertising. 4. We had to redo our keys. Every. Single. Night. Not once did the keys stay programmed. 5. Colleen: Said she was new but there was no kind of management present that she could ask for help and she seemed to be left on her own. Perhaps explaining her lack of professionalism. 6. They didn't clean our room once in the 5 days we stayed there. Not one time was there evidence that anyone had been in there to clean.

Door lock didnt work, elevator smelt of cigarette smoke every time we got in it. There wasn't a coffee machine in the room or a dresser. But the room was clean and everything worked. People in the area were a little sketchy too.

Good for the price, but room was very narrow, no desk/table setup. Would stay there again if in town.

Hotel was decent for the area it was in. Our floor was sticky and the hallways has a weird smell. We were also told check out was at 12 and we kept getting asked by the staff when we were leaving and it almost felt like they were telling us to leave by 11.

The room was clean and comfortable.

The WiFi in my room did not work, I had to use the hotspot on my phone. Other than that, I had a great experience!

New staff member very helpful and friendly! She was much better than the usual evening person and alot more available to ask questions.

The room was perfect and the staff were amazing! And all the staff was perfectly polite and friendly! There was an issue where my reservation was double booked and the staff solved it before I even had a chance to talk to them about it! From now on when I visit Everett I will only stay here

receptionist wasnt there. We waited for about 15 to 20 minutes before she came in. We were in a hurry so it was annoying to wait to check in.

Good Prices, very attentive staff both day and night. would book here again if i ever get the displeasure of having to stay in Everett.

This property photos did not at all reflect the pictures on the posting. Breakfast was falsely advertised. Room and overall hotel were extremely dirty and foul smells filled the halls. Numbers on doors were deteriorating, no ice machines available. NOT secure, nothing stopping the general public from roaming around and also only 1 small lock on hotel room doors. Would not recommend. Planned a 2 night stay and ended up canceling a short time after arriving, on day 1. We left in the middle of the evening (10pm) to check into a different hotel, spent less than 1 full hour in the room. Front desk staff did not specify how much they were going to charge before running our card, provided zero paperwork specifying the charges, etc.

I had a late check in my son checked in on Thursday. The nighttime staff approached him at 1:30 AM, 12:30 PM Saturday knocked on the door and harassed him and they made it seem like he was mentally unstable, I was originally in the room next to him, but my bed on the right hand side almost went through the floor. When I sat on it the other side was stable the day staff kindly replaced my room until Monday, the nighttime lady, rented out my Room, which I still had a key for and two other men harassed my son knocked on his door at 1:30 AM threatened him so we had an early checkout. It was horrible. How could they do this? The day staff was kind, but that nighttime staff, needs to be replaced immediately I had to spend more money on a motel 35 minutes away at 3:30 AM when all of this took took place, I am horrified and frightened.

I was taking a chance on staying at this particular hotel for a second time, Because the first time did not go so well, but this time I didn’t even make it in past the clerks desk because my boyfriend is on a do not rent list, but nobody can tell me why Dating don’t even have a reason why in their system and they can’t even tell me when I could meet with the managers to discuss on getting it removed because they don’t know when they ever come in and they have no idea on how to reach any of them

Have a breakfast area but evidently not anymore only for storage. No coffee pot in room. No coffee available. Was never told or given Wi-Fi for the room. Pictures are a total lie. Does not even look that way. At check in agent took 20 minutes to get to desk after ringing bell and then when ask for a cc for incidentals which they don’t have took a picture of it with his personal cell phone. Will be watching my account closely. Next morning when I went to check out had to wake up the desk guy to do it. It was at nine. By the looks of the people in and out they rent by the hr and week. Room was clean that was the only good thing.

The staff weren’t helpful. When I checked out, the person in front asked me if I had pets in the room, and when I said no, he asked again with suspicious look as if I lied.

From the moment we got here the staff was incredibly rude. She was outside smoking and we walking in. I rang the bell and she came in behind us yelling I’m here ma’am and you need to get off your phone for help. I wasn’t even on my phone. Then proceeded to be rude. The morning breakfast was a joke. Cereal and toast and not even anything to go on toast. The bed had hair all in it. Ty is is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Super dissatisfied and disappointed. We paid extra to stay somewhere that had breakfast yet there was none. We left and had to go spend more money to eat. They had one burner out and nothing in it. It was pushed to the corner.

Parking lot was sketchy & felt unsafe. Front desk was make-shift. Hallway smelled musty. Room was clean enough to stay. Staff was pleasant. Police were called in the morning. For pet friendly, there was no place for puppy to potty safely. Will not stay there again.

The beds were comfortable. McDonald's was a few minutes away by car. Fifteen minutes away from Paine Airfield in Everett, Washington.

We never even went inside to check in - we felt unsafe in the neighbourhood - too many homeless people and two of them ran out infront of our car in dark clothing and we almost ran over them. There was a girl in the parking lot that was high on something and my daughter started to have an anxiety attack....so we drove to another town to find a different hotel.

This is a pretty mediocre property. But it is the cheapest one in Everett that is still clean enough to spend the night in with a family. It's not really close to anything. And now the Starbucks is closed. So it's close to nothing.

Area outside has people hanging around late at night/early morning. Staff was courteous but the check in location is not really what you would call a front desk. The website says free breakfast… when I checked in after waiting 15 minutes for someone to help me, they advertised a complimentary breakfast & even showed me the “breakfast room” so I knew for the morning. I made the decision to get a hotel and not just drive home that night because I could get free breakfast… lo and behold! Breakfast came & I had the choice between white bread to make toast, a hoho or a Twinkie. The juice machine was out of order, and the coffee machine wasn’t working. Additionally there was dog hair all over my room & I have a severe dog allergy. Overall it seems like they’re either going out of business, or they are so damn cheap they could give a damn about customer service! Either way, I do not recommend.

Advertised Breakfast, no breakfast, noisy, ice machine right outside my door, uncovered so you heard the machine noise 24/7. Was near the emergency exit door in the rear. People were using it all day. It says emergency only, noisy in/out all day. Couldn't connect to the internet. Felt unsafe, desk unmanned always except when I checked out. Homeless around so anyone could have entered. Did not see sprinkler system. Very small towels. 2 guests 2 days, only had 2 bath towels. Hallway carpet looked dirty.

Clean room, comfortable bed. Lobby is spartan and uninviting. Breakfast was horrible, with only fruit loops, Hostess chocolate cupcakes, cheap granola bars and generic bread with jelly. Coffee ok, no creamer, only milk out of a gallon jug.

One of the reasons we stayed here was the included breakfast. upon check in we asked about breakfast and only then were we informed breakfast was not being served at all and hadn't been for awhile. we were very disappointed

The rooms were very clean and they had nice updated TVs but that’s abt where the good things stop. Dinner was yogurt, old cereal, and twinkies.

Breakfast options were twinkies and cup cakes. No bowls for cereal. Really no options

The pictures were not like the hotel. There was No breakfast sitting room. No coffee in the rooms.
