The cabin we stayed in was clean, we had a fireplace, small kitchen, and overall it was very spacious, could have slept 5 people(2 beds and a futon). The lodge sits right on a bluff overlooking the ocean and the whole property is very peaceful and serene. Unfortunately the steps down to the beach at the lodge were not accessible but a short walk to the campground(10min) and you’re able to access the beach. The restaurant offered breakfast and dinner, we did enjoy dinner one night and it was amazing! All the staff we came into contact with were super friendly and helpful. Be prepared if you are one who is attached to your phone or a tv as there’s no tv or wifi available in the cabins. There is wifi available in the main lodge though. Definitely recommend staying here and look forward to visiting again.

Everything was great about this property. Only thing that was broken was the stairs down to the beach, which was recently damaged by the King Tide, which i get is out of their control.

We stayed at a unit in the seacrest building in April, 2024. We had a wonderful stay and the photos online don't do justice to our unit. It was much nicer than we expected it to be, with a balcony and beautiful views of the ocean. The staircase to the ocean has been blown out by storms and so in order for you to actually get down to the beach you need to walk along the highway for a short distance, down through the campgrounds before you can access the beach. We were given a map of check-in which showed the original way to access the beach, but we're not told that it had been blown out by a storm. That would have been good information for the front desk to have given us. We had a wonderful time and we'll be back again!

We enjoyed our time in the semi rustic cabin. It was comfortable and views were awesome of the ocean. Sadly no beach access right at the lodge, however acces is available at the campground at short walk or drive up the road.The mercantile was excellent, and the food at the restaurant was tasty.

Check in was quick and everyone was extremely nice to us. Pillows were comfy, and the room was clean. I loved how we had a balcony with a view of the ocean. There’s WiFi, but only at the restaurant/gift shop. Beach access is restricted right now after the big storm they had, but you can drive to other beaches down to road if you really want to go to the beach. Great place to stay, I’ll be coming back in the future!

This is the "Get-Away" property for those seeking real away-ness. Readily accessible yet without cellular coverage, television, video games. Rooms are comfortable and modernized (stayed in Seacrest Lodge) with nearby access to beach. Be aware that access to beach requires several flights of rustic stairs to beach level but sturdy and secure. Dining in main lodge is suitable to setting, staffing is responsive but as with most facilities is understaffed. Good food and view setting. Staff throughout was courteous and helpful albeit understaffed.

Older cabins but adequate accommodations. The location to the ocean is beautiful but access to the beach is limited due to broken fences, stairs and erosion. Not appropriate for smaller children or those with limited mobility. No early arrival ....in fact housecleaning was still there when i arrived at the door at 4:15pm. Front desk gal didnt seem to care much. Woodstove is a great feature but no newspaper to start a fire. No tv so plan to bring a game. Nearest town/services is 30 miles away. There is a restaurant on site with a limited menu and hours...so annoyed with check in that we went to Forks for dinner. Cabins are big enough for 4 ppl.

We have stayed here before and have been pleased. This time the cabin was without a view when there were plenty unoccupied cabins available. At check in we were told it had a nice view. Even if it did have a view, the windows were so dirty we wouldn't have seen anything. The floor was dirty and sticky. I don't think we will be going back.

We loved the location, sunset cannot be beat. The cabin was clean and cozy. Loved the wood stove. A perfect place to relax and sleep to the sounds of the amazing Pacific Ocean.

Wonderful, cozy, rustic cabin in a beautiful environment with adequate wood to enjoy the wood stove and a well-equipped kitchen. Could use some comfortable chairs for sitting by the wood stove (we brought in the ones from outside) and pads on the legs of the heavy, metal bar stools to prevent unpleasant sounds when they’re moved. A little more cleaning in the corners and tops of logs would improve the cleanliness score, but really a great place to stay! We especially enjoyed all of the staff!

We were very impressed with bed. The mattress and bedding appeared to be newer. We slept great! The wood stove was wonderful and it was nice to have wood provided. We were disappointed with the cleanliness of the floors, however. They were extremely sticky - like maybe a child had dribbled juice all over and housekeeping hadn't mopped. The table was sticky also. We left without washing the dishes because no dish soap was provided. Another inconvenience was the food situation. We did not know thatvthe restaurant didn’t serve breakfast or lunch (it's Winter, so apparently they cut back), and dinner was take-out. The office did provide a continental breakfast (no protein at all) for $10 per person. Cereal, toast and fruit. They said they offered waffles also but we didn’t see a waffle iron. Our biggest complaint was that we were not informed that there was NO access to the beach from the cabins because a king tide had wiped out the stairs a few weeks ago. We understand that happened but it would have been nice to have had the info on the website or been informed about the inconvenience at check in. We had to drive to access the beach.

The lodge had a wonderful and convenient location but my room smelled worse than any room I've ever stayed in - like the carpet hadn't been cleaned in 50 years and it smelled like dirty feet. I never got used to the smell - it was awful.

Beautiful spot. Cabins are very quaint. Seacrest house are the more hotel like rooms which are nice but if you are downstairs beware of the noise from upstairs. We had a constant pacer and night owl who was incredibly loud. You know what I mean. Bed noises. Loud.

In short, this property is a bit worn/rundown & in need of updating/upgrading…my room was clean, but smelled of stale cigarettes & the bath/shower area was quite worn/in need of repair and/or replacement…also, the room lacked basic amenities (tv or mini fridge)…exterior lighting was non-existent, which was an issue given my late arrival…In sum, this place has a monopoly for this area & thus can get away with charging over $300/night…not good value…stay if you must, but be prepared to over-pay!

Pros: Beautiful ocean view and easy access from hwy 101. The restaurant on site has amazing food! Cons But our room had no wifi connection and very poor cellphone reception. The room is also a bit run down with old carpet and loose electric outlets.

The room is in major need of upgrades. The bed was awfully springy and uncomfortable. We could hear every noise above us all night and early in the morning, so sleeping was hard. The hairdryer didn’t work. The stairs leading down to the beach are broken and dangerous. The restaurant was already out of much of the menu less than hour after opening for dinner. Someone on Instagram told me to DM them privately, which I did, because I didn’t want to air my grievances publicly in the comment section. Nobody ever even answered.

Our stay was a disaster. we checked in at 2:30. We were told our room wasn't ready, but that they would start on it immediately. I was took the wait would be half an hour. I came back a half hour later and the shift had changed. The previous shift had blown us off completely, and I was told that there were two check-ins ahead of me. No apology. We didn't get into our room until 4. We have been there many time over the last 40 years and things are always a little sketchy, but I'm never going back there again. Kalaloch lodge is in the national park and run by the park service. Lots of rules, no effort to accommodate. They act like they're doing you a favor by letting you stay there.

Beautiful lodge. Here during the office season and complimentary upgrade to room with view of the ocean. Everyone friendly and knowledgeable. Enjoyed our dinner in the lodge as well.

Honesty review. The room not great. They gave us a first floor room so you be prepared to hear everything above your head. Lots of walking and talking at 4 am when you are trying to sleep. Restaurant took almost an 1 to bring 2 salads and a entree. They do not accept cash so be wise that . The views of the property are amazing but over all my experience sleeping and staying wasn’t the best

Out in the middle of no where this area is beautiful and peaceful. Rustic cabins are comfortable and beach access is within a few steps. Staff are friendly.

Incredible stay - the deluxe cabin was beautiful, very clean and equipped with everything we needed. Location couldn’t be beat! Front desk staff (Forest) was very kind and helpful.

We enjoyed our stay there. The downside was the beach access was closed which was the main reason we picked it. We had a great view from our room and the restaurant food was good.

The cabins were peaceful, and the views incredible. The beach access is down because of the tides and weather damage. The staff was wonderful and the lodge chef was great.

Perfect setting near amazing beaches. Very peaceful and quiet. So convenient to have the restaurant on site. Our room had a large balcony which we enjoyed.

Beautiful, secluded area. Because of erosion, the beach is only accessible through the campground about 1/4 mile from the lodge. The food in the restaurant was good. I would stay here again.

We loved our cabin itself. The kitchen was very well-appointed and you can rent a grill. We wish we had brought more of our own food to cook because the restaurant in the lodge had very slow service with a long wait to get a table (we were just told "it will be a while" with no actual estimate) and just mediocre food. However, the only other option would have been a drive to Forks. We appreciated the little eco friendly touches like the challenges to "race the clock" and take a 5 mins or less long shower (there was an hourglass you could use mounted to the wall). My son loved the free popcorn in the lobby of the lodge and the convenience store that sells ice cream. Overall we enjoyed ourselves and look forward to going back.

The room is in major need of upgrades. The bed was awfully springy and uncomfortable. We could hear every noise above us all night and early in the morning, so sleeping was hard. The hairdryer didn’t work. The stairs leading down to the beach are broken and dangerous. The restaurant was already out of much of the menu less than hour after opening for dinner. Someone on Instagram told me to DM them privately, which I did, because I didn’t want to air my grievances publicly in the comment section. Nobody ever even answered.

A beautiful spot for a stopover. We booked a cozy cabin with a wood stove, firewood was provided, spectacular ocean view, great food at the restaurant.

Property was as advertised from the outside but much nicer on the inside! We were in a cabin facing the ocean which was so cute on the inside. Tiny but sweet kitchen with everything we needed. The wood burning metal fire place came with wood for a night. Beds were comfy. Little mercantile on the property was quite handy. Restaurant was mediocre but easy. Overall a much nicer stay than expected.

Kalaloch Lodge is situated in the most beautiful Pacific Ocean coast. The view is spectacular and we enjoyed walking on the beach in the morning and during sunset. The lodge we stayed in is basic but clean. Bathroom is abit small, though! Check in staff is fast and efficient. Service at restaurant is slow.

The cabin we stayed in had a rat that left droppings and urine on the floor. It also had a bird nest right above the entry and birds left droppings all over the entry mat which was not cleaned or replaced even once during our 3 night stay. We asked for a deep cleaning of the room and it didn't happen. We asked a second time and our beds were made up with dirty sheets filled with sand. We complained to management and tried to get a refund and the property retaliated against us by accusing us of trashing our cabin and stuffing them drawers with trash. We never did any such thing and were horrified to be treated this way simply for speaking up about the unsanitary and deplorable condition of our cabin. I would never stay here again and urge anyone reading this to avoid Kalaloch Lodge at all costs.

The Creekside restaurant has good food, but very understaffed. Take out for dinner was a 90 min wait, and we were not able to place our order ahead with phone call. Also, front desk staff was inconsistent. I was to get an emailed invoice upon check out, but never received it 2 of the espresso employees at the Mercantile store were not very friendly, and one woman initially charged me incorrectly for my iced mocha, until I questioned the total amount. No apology, not customer service friendly.
