Room was great for two people. We walked to get the best pizza just down the street! Bed was comfy. The only drawback was no parking! You could drive to a garage or street parking. Yes, we got a parking ticket!

Everything was great, except for traffic noise, window a/c unit let in outside cold air, and 23 steps up to the lobby (not good if you have hip or knee issues). Parking on the street was sufficient. Staff was very pleasant and friendly. Shared bathrooms, 5, were very clean. I will book an en-suite next time. Breakfast area was pleasant and accommodating; coffee, croissants, bread and toaster, juices, yogurt, oatmeal and cereal, tea.

The Ace is — for the price of a trip up a pretty flight of stairs (no elevator) a comfortable and clean space with pleasingly eclectic decor. Think urban hunting lodge curated by a retired archaeology professor. The staff was kind, helpful, and welcoming. Good breakfast, too! Not for seekers of “posh” or “pampering” but we would *absolutely* stay again.

This hotel was reasonably priced, clean and close to the cruise terminal. There is no elevator so you have to get all of your luggage up a long flight of stairs to get to the lobby. There were not any towel racks in the bathroom but the bathroom was great overall. I would stay here again

Lovely little personal hotel. Super helpful and friendly staff. A big flight of stairs to get into reception and no elevator. A bit tricky with heavy cases. I missed having tea and coffee in the room, but the room was a delight with a great bathroom and robes provided.

I love boutique hotels and this one did not disappoint. It was clean, comfortable and charming. They had a kitchen downstairs that offered tea and coffee around the clock and breakfast after 7a. The hotel was perfectly located a short walk from the Westlake train station, the Clipper Ferry and Pikes Place Market. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cozy place to stay within walking distance of Seattle’s downtown points of interest.

Staff was so approachable and helpful, and made my stay really pleasant. Street parking was a bit of a challenge at times, but that's not their fault obviously. Really cool suite and vibe. Would definitely stay again next time I'm in Seattle. Thanks for the great stay!

Enjoyed my stay - location was very walkable - about 15 min walk to the link train station which was convenient and close to all the sites. My room and shared bathroom area were quite clean. There was a bit of a musty smell when you first walk in the room but it wasn't too bad... Loved the shared kitchen downstairs! Nice touch. Staff were also very friendly and helpful! Would stay again. Thank you Ace!

As per usual, the room was spotless, the hotel very clean, staff there are amazing, helpful and willing to go the extra mile. This has become my all-time favorite Hotel to stay at. I will be back very soon!

It is a cute little property. The staff was super friendly. I was a little unsure about the shared bathrooms as I had never tried it before. The bathrooms were very clean and included all the basics. Defiantly recommend this place!

The Ace Hotel is a wonderful place to stay in Seattle. As a first-time visitor, I found it to be excellently located to access all the sites of the city. The staff were exceptional and took very good care of us when our flight was postponed. The rooms and washrooms were clean and well maintained.

The hotel was quiet, clean and staff were friendly. However, the “deluxe” room we paid almost $300/night for was a windowless box where the shower and sink were behind the bed and the toilet was in a tiny little water closet. We joked about it being a prison cell, but those usually have a window. Location couldn't be beat and at least the bed was comfy.

I feel bad for adjacent rooms when at 1am, before showering, turned on the exhaust fan which exhumed a most terrifying and deathly sequel as a very tired fan tried its best to move air as loudly as possible. Ahem. Unless you want the room participating in the drum & bass sets of nearby clubs, please replace the exhaust fan in room 103. Otherwise, everything else was great.

The room was extremely cold. There is only a old oil heater in the room and there is no way to control the temperature. My husband was wearing a winter coat inside the room.

The welcome couldn’t have been warmer. The room’s decor was innovative and fun, comfy bed, a little fridge, great fan to keep us cool. So many restaurants in the area it was hard to choose.

I loved this hotel so much! The staff are all so kind and wonderful, the room was perfect. The bed was so comfortable, honestly I haven't slept that good in years. The hotel is in a great area, a few blocks from Pike's Place and a few blocks away from Climate Pledge Arena which is the reason I chose it. It was so comfortable and so quiet I felt like it was a second home. I'll stay here every time I visit. Honestly can't say enough good things about this cute little hotel.

The floorplan of the room was unique and had a great aesthetic. I loved how the shower and sink were in the same area. It made it really easy to brush my teeth while my partner showered. The glass wall that separated the area from the bedroom was really neat. The hotel itself was within walking distance of Pikes Place Market and transit. I would totally stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay there very much. We upgraded our room to one with a private bathroom when we got to the property and the room was very clean and nice. The only problem was that the shower was behind the bed and the room got very humid after a shower. There was no window we could open in our room and no vent near the shower, so we had to either turn on the AC or open the door to a small deck which had a loud vent from ground floor restaurants. Nevertheless, we found the property to be comfortable and attractive and felt it was good value for Seattle at this location.

I liked everything about the hotel, especially the decor of the room, except the steep stairs down to the kitchen and out to the street, and that there was much noise from out on the street until late. Would stay there again, but would be more careful about which part of the building the room was in.

Staff and location 10/10. Kitsch factor for a boutique hotel 8/10. Execution for a hotel 5/10. Having stayed at other ACE hotels, this is better classified at an elevated hostel. Room and front door keys are actual keys, and front desk is not staffed in the evening. At 11:30pm, could not get into the front door bc the keys had been recut and mine did not work. Called the after hours line, got a recorded message. Called the second number listed, went to voicemail. Called again and spoke to very pleasant person who was going to come into town and help me, but lives 30-40 minutes away. Seattle, while better than it was 2 years ago, is still not safe downtown at night for a solo person. Considering this, I had to wait next to a hotel entrance, and convince another guest that I was staying there so I could get in when they did. Television received no signal so unusable. 1) hospitality business necessitates attention to detail, like checking that all keys work when locks are rekeyed, and the novelty factor of having actual brass key doesn’t do it for me, get a card system 2)a part time staffing of reception doesn’t work when you’re closest on site help is 30-40 minutes away 3)this is not a safe part of town at night, to put other guests in the position of having to let someone in the building is awful. There should be a remote ability to unlock the door. Ace hotel is a great brand, however this location misses the mark. This is a “mid”

The owner went above and beyond to accommodate our schedule. He and the morning staff were very helpful and friendly. The continental grab and go breakfast was just what we needed. The location was steps away from our cruise peer 66 and walkable to sites like the Space Needle.

Staff is super friendly and helpful, and the property is clean and simple. The decor and accommodations strike the perfect balance of sparse yet elegant— and cozy to boot. The location is great— walkable to so many restaurants and things to do.

The staff at the Ace went above and beyond to make our stay great. I emailed ahead about something and mentioned I was travelling with my 14year old son. They upgraded our room. When we got there, they had upgraded our room again. It's like they know a 14year old boy traveling with him mother needs SPACE. One conciege walked outside at night with me to make sure the parking space I found was ok. Everyone at the front desk was incredibly friendy and gave us GREAT advice about where to eat and go. Can't recommend enough. Walking distance to all the sites and street parking with the app was easy. I've stayed at many of the Ace Hotels and was happy to stay at the original.

This property was unique but lovely! Loved the design of the space, room was very comfortable and the complimentary breakfast was excellent! Great location, close to the water, pike place, space needle and lots of restaurants!

The owner went above and beyond to accommodate our schedule. He and the morning staff were very helpful and friendly. The continental grab and go breakfast was just what we needed. The location was steps away from our cruise peer 66 and walkable to sites like the Space Needle.

It is about a 15-20 walk from the Westlake light rail station. Beware, the exit from the station goes to the corner of Pine & 3rd which literally is drug addict central. Seriously, people were shooting up and smoking meth right on the sidewalk. We walked away really fast. The location is great and close to everything, but it is downtown and as in most downtowns around the country there are a number of homeless people walking around (but NOT as bad at Pine & 3rd). Just be prepared to be vigilant and don’t walk around at night unless with a group.

Intimate small hotel. Convenient, 3 blocks from our cruise ship port. Loads of dining options nearby, but we opted to sit on the patio of the funky Cyclops bar, directly below the hotel. Surprisingly exceptional eats!

Everything was great, except for traffic noise, window a/c unit let in outside cold air, and 23 steps up to the lobby (not good if you have hip or knee issues). Parking on the street was sufficient. Staff was very pleasant and friendly. Shared bathrooms, 5, were very clean. I will book an en-suite next time. Breakfast area was pleasant and accommodating; coffee, croissants, bread and toaster, juices, yogurt, oatmeal and cereal, tea.

Amazing. Cute lil breakfast bar with the best chocolate croissants. Great, quaint, unique without feeling too hipster or uncomfortable. Staff went wayyy out of their way to help us twice. It was awesome. Good location, near many restaurants and walking spots. Just a lil loud yelling outside at night, but one should expect that when traveling to downtown spots. Would come back.

I love boutique hotels and this one did not disappoint. It was clean, comfortable and charming. They had a kitchen downstairs that offered tea and coffee around the clock and breakfast after 7a. The hotel was perfectly located a short walk from the Westlake train station, the Clipper Ferry and Pikes Place Market. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a cozy place to stay within walking distance of Seattle’s downtown points of interest.

They offered a great little buffet breakfast with many organic options. It was a nice surprise. They gave great recommendations on restaurants and activities. It so close to the waterfront, too! It has a welcoming vibe and the rooms were very clean.

Room was nice and clean, staff were friendly and helpful. Admittedly I didn't venture far beyond just sleeping there (was just in town for one night for a concert), so I can't comment on the food or other amenities. As far as I could tell, there was only one bathroom (may have been more down the hall, but none that I saw), however, I never had to wait to use it. There were multiple shower rooms available, however. I really liked the in-unit sink/mirror for doing my skincare/getting ready. The complimentary ear plugs were also much appreciated, as the noise from the street was certainly...present. The A/C fan also helped to drown that out.

The hotel was clean and minimalist. Beds were comfortable. The location as far as being part of the city was excellent. The only issue we have was that we didn’t take it. There would be people up and down the street yelling until 3 AM since there are bars and restaurants all around. Everything else was lovely.
