We stayed in the room Caesar's Court #2 for one night, and it was absolutely #2. The wallpaper was being held on the walls by Scotch tape. The shower was a trickle. Everything had a layer of grime and/or mold. The window was broken and there were about a hundred ladybugs, flies and moths. The carpet was so gross I wore shoes the whole time. The smell was so bad (wet dog-ish) that I had a hard time breathing and sleeping. This room has not been updated... ever? I also got a bug bite, and since I've encountered bed bugs before, I can say with 90% certainty that's what it was. I wouldn't pay $60 to stay in this room again, let alone $300 - that is borderline criminal. I HIGHLY recommend not staying in this room and maybe not the hotel. I have never seen a place in such dire need of updates - we should have stayed across the street. Disgusting.

I loved staying at the Don Q inn, in one of the fantasy suites. The themes are so cool and the staff was over the top helpful, even showing us what some of the other fantasy suites look like that they have started to renovate. I have been coming here for more than 15 years, and to see the pride and the upkeep that the owners/staff are now doing makes me even more excited to come back again. Really awesome experience.

This was our second time staying at the Don Q. The first trip we stayed in the Cave Room and this time we stayed in one of the Caesar Rooms. We love the retro "Fantasuites" and quirky property, but it really needs updating and a good cleaning! Our room had a strong musty/mildewy odor. The carpet absolutely needed to be torn out and replaced. The hot tub jets also needed to be cleaned. While we love the vintage vibes, I don't think we will be returning.

The room size is bigger than usual hotel rooms with microwave and refrigerator freezer. Continental breakfast was better than most with fresh biscuits and gravy. We never did use the pool and hot tub but looked in on them and they seemed nice.
