Inn on Woodlake is part of the Kohler resort. The rooms are much larger than those at the American Club and just as nice. The Terrace restaurant is close by and the other Kohler restaurants are a 3 min shuttle ride away. The view on the lake side is very nice--putting green just outside the hotel near the lake. Having stayed at both American Club and Inn on Woodlake, I would stay at Woodlake next time. Buffet breakfast was great--everything you could possibly want.

Nice, upscale feel to the rooms and common areas. Staff is great! Almost all amenities are away from the immediate hotel area so it felt like it wasn’t worth the effort. (Ie. Pool and hot tub at separate sports complex that needed a shuttle. Spa facility 1/2 mile away.). Food at the Tavern was mediocre for pretty high cost

More amenities than we needed as we did not golf or use half the things offered. A three night stay is not long enough to enjoy everything. But we did enjoy what we could in that time frame. The Waters Spa is pricey but it is by far one of the most beautiful spas I’ve ever experienced. The food is very good in every location. The staff is super friendly.

The property was well maintained and clean. The showers are amazing in the rooms. My husband really enjoyed the full breakfast. I only wish the front desk would explain that the pool was not located in the same building. We were in our swimsuits and ready to go; only to realize it was in the gym area and we needed to take a shuttle. The pool could be open until 10p.m. on weekends as well so people can enjoy it after ice-skating or dinner. It would be nice if guests could snowshoe the next day for free. The person running the warming room told us it's a $35 charge to snowshoe the next day. It was too dark to go at nighttime and the trails were not lit. Overall it was pleasant but could be better!

We had a lovely stay. Contacts we made before and during our 4-night stay were all excellent. The beds were comfortable, we loved the shower jets & thoroughly enjoyed the abundant & diverse options for breakfast (eggs,burritos,bacon,sausage,potatoes,fresh berries, yogart,granola, breads,cereal,scones, muffins&more). I spoke with other guest about the golf & they said they've never played anywhere like it. The Kohler factory tour was amazing. Would have been nice to have a pool at the hotel. The spa is under contruction. The sports area with the pools/spas was packed with kids for the holiday weekend. I was surprised with so many people at the sports complex they didn't have attendants sanitizing nor anyone in the locker rooms cleaning. Highly recommend. We will be back.

Staff was friendly. The trees outside the hotel with lights were beautiful. Breakfast was good - they had gluten free bagels available on request. Biggest disappointment by far was the shower. Shower started at a good temp but keep getting cooler during the shower and then it got freezing cold and I had to shut it off, soap up, and turn it back on. We had two rooms and my friend in the second room had the same problem. We both showered between 7:00 and 8:00 am. A hotel known for its showers and bathroom fixtures NEEDS to have enough hot water for its guests. Would not stay again. At checkout they did not ask how our stay was.

We got in a little late and were greeted gladly without any fuss, which was lovely. The shower was great, as expected in Kohler, and the room was huge - and it was one of the smaller ones!

This is the 2nd time we stayed at The Woodlake Inn. We walked into our room to find an large yellow, industrial floor fan in front of the heating/cooling unit. We hauled it down to the front desk. There was no report of anything wrong within their maintenance system. However, the unit was very loud and the following morning, the floor was wet and now our socks were too. During the 2nd night of our stay, the unit made a ridiculous amount of noise and started blowing hot air. We unplugged the unit to see if we could maybe reset it. It was 2 nights of miserable sleep. However, we enjoyed a day at the spa with multiple services, lunch and made reservations for 3 meals at the Tavern. The front desk and driver were all very nice.

This is my second time staying at Inn on Woodlake. First stay was good overall but had some hot water issues. Returned and staff was very friendly; shower was enjoyable with the multiple tiles of spraying water; breakfast was excellent and coffee was always available in the lobby; took a walk around woodlake in the early morning and had the lake to myself. Only suggestion I would have (I stayed in April during a warm spell) is to provide some furniture for the deck of the tower deck rooms and maybe an outside chair for the other main rooms that have either a deck or little patio outside. There were lots of birds around the lake which was quite beautiful and I do know that leaving outside furniture would probably be a pain to keep clean. I ended up taking my rolling chair outside the room onto the patio and using that.

The hotel had everything someone could want including a shuttle around Kohler and an extensive included breakfast each morning. With shops and dining within walking distance and amazing and helpful service, you can’t go wrong with the Inn on Woodlake.

Check in was very efficient. Room was ready and very nicely setup. Enjoyed the timely shuttle service. Check out was also easy with bill forwarded by email. Buffet breakfast was inclùded and had many choices.

The property was beautiful, the room was very comfortable. I had requested a one king bed room, but instead was given a two queen room. The front desk attendant was trying to do us a favor by checking us in early which we appreciate, but the room was very far away from the elevator and we were hoping for a bigger bathroom in order to experience the kohler bathroom experience, unfortunately the front desk attendant did not communicate this to us.

The property was well maintained and clean. The showers are amazing in the rooms. My husband really enjoyed the full breakfast. I only wish the front desk would explain that the pool was not located in the same building. We were in our swimsuits and ready to go; only to realize it was in the gym area and we needed to take a shuttle. The pool could be open until 10p.m. on weekends as well so people can enjoy it after ice-skating or dinner. It would be nice if guests could snowshoe the next day for free. The person running the warming room told us it's a $35 charge to snowshoe the next day. It was too dark to go at nighttime and the trails were not lit. Overall it was pleasant but could be better!

A very nice property with a 5 minute walk to the Kohler Design center. The front desk at check in was very friendly and informative. We dined at the Blackwolf Run Clubhouse and had an excellent meal. I’d stay here again.

Kohler Village is an awesome trip for a couple of days! You must visit the Kohler factory and Design Center the American club and Kohler chocolate. Great dining options. Also a shuttle service is provided from the hotel around the Village. Hotel also has awesome breakfast included.

The front desk accommodated our early check-in; very kind of them to do so as our flight arrived mid-morning. While we couldn’t afford The American Club, I felt as though we were treated very well and the room/hotel is very nice/charming. We had no real view but given they were able to give us a room earlier in the day, we were fine with. We especially liked that the Woodlake Market was close by; everything we came to do was so easy with shuttle service and proximity to the club. We would stay again for sure!

Inn on Woodlake is part of the Kohler resort. The rooms are much larger than those at the American Club and just as nice. The Terrace restaurant is close by and the other Kohler restaurants are a 3 min shuttle ride away. The view on the lake side is very nice--putting green just outside the hotel near the lake. Having stayed at both American Club and Inn on Woodlake, I would stay at Woodlake next time. Buffet breakfast was great--everything you could possibly want.

Nice, upscale feel to the rooms and common areas. Staff is great! Almost all amenities are away from the immediate hotel area so it felt like it wasn’t worth the effort. (Ie. Pool and hot tub at separate sports complex that needed a shuttle. Spa facility 1/2 mile away.). Food at the Tavern was mediocre for pretty high cost

this hotel is in the middle of a major construction project. I did not discover this until arriving. Room was dusty and elevator did not work. Complained to management and they were helpful - moved me to another hotel.

Everything was good. The front desk person Joan did not meet our expectations. She was bossy with no customer service and no smiles. She let us wait over 15 min to just check in and was super slow. Never apologized for the wait and we were her only guest at that time. Other than that the room and the amanitas were good.

I knew in advance that the property was under construction but that was ridiculous. Parking was super tight due to the cranes and dump trucks and such in the parking lot. Hampton Inn serves a better breakfast and this was a $500/night hotel. Everything was cold, eggs, hash browns, sausages, etc. "The Bar" was a small area with a small selection of beer and wine. Very little liquor. Website says has a hotel bar. Grossly exaggerated. False advertisement doesn't begin to describe this hotel. The room was nice if you didn't look too closely. Black long hairs on the bathroom floor, dust on the doors. Staff was not particularly friendly or helpful. Very disappointing for a Kohler property. Won't stay there again.
