I was lied to. I called 2 days before arriving to verify that the hot tub was working. I was told yes. When we arrived at the hotel, checked the hot tub, and it was luke warm. So disappointing. Heard from others staying that it has been out for a week and it was even colder at the beginning of the week. Honesty from the front desk would have been nice since the only reason we booked this hotel was for the kids to enjoy the pool and hot tub for a night. If you need a pool towel, be sure you ask for one at least an hour in advance. That's how long it took for us to get ours. Will not be returning.

We love to take family trips to Lake Geneva. We like Comfort Suites because their two queen bed rooms are spacious enough for 2 adults and 3 kids. Our kids love the kiddie pool and that is one of the main reasons we come. The breakfast is functional and saves money.

Lots of drunk individuals in hot tub and pool area. Pool was very cold, children couldn’t even stand to be in it longer than 20min., hot tub shouldn’t even be called a hot tub; it was Luke warm if anything.

The pool was out of order - right after a holiday weekend?? The facilities for the most part were clean and well kept. The exercise room is virtually non-existant - one treadmill, one elliptical, a bench and some weights. If you don't mind not exercising or going to the pool, then you will be fine. Staff was excellent.

This hotel has a great pool area with a nice hot tub and a splash pad area for kids. It’s very easy to get to this hotel. It’s located close to stores and downtown Lake Geneva. The room is very spacious. The staff is very helpful, but we did have to ask for several amenities that were not already in the room. Hidden gem at this hotel is the laundry facility that is free for guests!! Breakfast each morning they had two flavor varieties for waffles!

The Good (Sort Of) The staff was genuinely friendly, and the atmosphere felt welcoming. Breakfast was decent—nothing amazing, but you got your waffles and they had biscuits and gravy with sausage in a crockpot. The Dealbreakers Now for the bad stuff. The bed in my room was rock-solid hard. Even with a mattress topper.. I spent the whole night tossing and turning because my body actually hurt—like I was sleeping on the floor. My left hip was sore for days. The biggest issue, though, was the cleanliness. I know a stray hair happens, but there were so many hairs in the shower that it was just gross. Then, when I went looking for a stray sock, I found a (thankfully unused) sanitary pad under the sink. It just made me so uncomfortable. You know people stay in the room before you, but you don't want that much evidence! To make matters worse, my morning shower was a bust. I got zero hot water—only warm. Paying well over $200 a night, I expect three basic things: a comfortable sleep, a clean room, and a hot shower. I didn't get any of them. Final Verdict We won't be back, and I definitely won't be recommending this to our traveling soccer team.

I wouldn't recommend Comfort Suites. Our room was damp and extremely musty. There were holes in the bathroom walls and the bathroom sink was clogged. Staff was kind and apologetic, obviously out of their control. However we will skip staying at the Comfort Suites our next time in Lake Geneva.

The room was very large, but the housekeeping needs to be better, moldy shower curtain,ripped bedding, dirty walls, and curtains. We had a room that sleeps six with two bath towels, and one washcloth. One bed had no comforter, the other had a comforter, but had a big rip in it. Shower curtain was backwards with mold on it

Sadly, room wasnt clean as we expected, given that we feel usually comfort insured at Comfort Suites. Manager gave concession. I think, probably just not enough staff. Like property. Im sure theyll address concerns given.

I liked the hotel but when I checked into my hotel the first thing I find is old lettuce and take out food in the fridge and a towel was yellow before I used it. Felt like no one cleaned my room from the last just changed the sheets.

The entire hotel smelled of mildew and wet dog. The room had an almost unbearable mildew and animal smell. There were lots of barking dogs and dog waste outside the back door leading to the parking lot. The town and the location are great, though.

Staff super friendly, lobby decorated nice and very clean. Parking easy. Room was nice but definitely not cleaned well. Probably my fault they let me check in early. So there was open bar of soap by hot tub and the towels were not replenished. I didn’t complain, I bring my own Clorox wipes anyhow. Overall nice place. They had a nice little breakfast and coffee all day.

We've stayed here before so it aided in our choice. Overall we like the hotel. But unfortunately our room was not clean. While we anticipated little things prior and stopped to get some cleaning spray, we did not know that there would be hair throughout the room, which included the bathroom as well as our bed. Its disappointing as we really like the hotel and its amenities. Not sure of stay policy in terms of length of stay, but our room was not cleaned after the first night, so we had to find someone from the housekeeping staff to get a clean towel swap. We only stayed 2 nights. Everything else was fine, staff was nice. But hair in our bed, on and around the toilet and in the bath rub is not a good look for any hotel. Probably will stay somewhere else on our next visit.

The Wi-Fi was horrible.. my phone would just not work. Also the breakfast service lady is very loud and does not refill stuff at breakfast and to top it off the fire alarm went off at 5am, because of the breakfast lady and we did not get one apology about it. Alarms going off, scared me son.

Room needed updating, curtains were stained, very humid and musty smelling, bed was saggy, sheets wouldn't stay on the bed. Bath didn't drain well when taking a shower. Breakfast was just okay, no variety and not well stocked. Close to where we wanted to go and good parking.

The property was clean, the staff were nice, and the breakfast offerings were good. The one negative is that the property itself seems rather old, and they've attempted some cheap updates that really just accent the fact that the property needs more. Also - we were on the first floor and the room above us must have had a family - when we were trying to get to sleep, it sounded like there was a herd of elephants running around above us.

The property was clean, the staff were nice, and the breakfast offerings were good. Unfortunately the walls and ceilings are sooooo thin. And we had problems with room temperature, TV, and the smoke detector. The team was kind- all problems not their fault but I would not go back.

Stay was okay. Had to ask for towels, there was just one even when we had booked a suite for 5 of us. Also had to ask for tv remote batteries. Room initially smelled musty when we walked in but later was okay.. also was clean and beds pillows were comfortable

Check was listed as 3:00 pm. We arrived at 3:10 and two other couples were still waiting as told that no rooms were ready yet. We we told to expect a 5-10 minute wait. We actually got our room at 3:40. We were tired from our drive so wanted to get in at 3

Great Front Desk...Sarah was excellent, very helpful with a couple of requests for local info and assistance. She did the job exactly the way it should be done. I travel frequently and, sad to say, her attitude is not as common as it should be. Jasmin, also a Front Desk person, was equally professional.

There was so much noise coming from the other rooms, multiple rooms, banging doors, jumping off the bed, screaming in the hallways, slamming doors all over yelling running around the hallways late at night. This was reported several times over two hours to the management and they did absolutely nothing. They never came upstairs to investigate. They never knocked on the doors of the rooms that were doing all of this all they told me was that they can change my room or I would leave the hotel. I finally involve the police and they showed up even after the police left. The noise began again And this one on throughout the night my sleep was terrible and the staff the auditor at the hotel did nothing about this. I want my money back.

There was so much noise coming from the other rooms, multiple rooms, banging doors, jumping off the bed, screaming in the hallways, slamming doors all over yelling running around the hallways late at night. This was reported several times over two hours to the management and they did absolutely nothing. They never came upstairs to investigate. They never knocked on the doors of the rooms that were doing all of this all they told me was that they can change my room or I would leave the hotel. I finally involve the police and they showed up even after the police left. The noise began again And this one on throughout the night my sleep was terrible and the staff the auditor at the hotel did nothing about this. I want my money back.

Clerk, Sarah was extremely helpful and pleasant. I had originally booked through a 3rd party but booked for the wrong date. Sarah waited patiently for me to get this corrected and then was able to make a room change as well. She was so very helpful, a fine example of customer service at it's best. 😁

We booked two rooms. We were told via email that our rooms would be available at 3pm. Only one room was available, and then the other room wasn’t available for another hour. We had spent hours traveling with young kids so this was not favorable. We finally got our other room, and it was on the second floor, completely away from the first room. The whole point of booking together was to have rooms together. Our toilet didn’t flush properly in our room on 216. On the bathroom near the lobby, there was a tampon just laying on the floor. The pool was overly chemically treated… or under but definitely not right. The staff was nice enough, but didn’t seem to be available when needed to assist with any issue we had. I won’t be staying at a comfort in again nor will i recommend this location or hotel to anyone.

The staff was very rude. When I arrived to check-in, he was on the phone and didn't notice me standing there. I was standing there for maybe a 45 seconds to a minute. The room had a really bad odor and stinch. I returned the key and asked for a refund. He said only his manager could do that. I asked him to give her and he told me that he couldn't, because she was at the movies. He wouldn't give me her email or a business card for me to contact her. He told me to give him my name and number and she would give me a call on Monday. Thus was on Friday. I left there very upset. While driving back home after a 2 1/2 hour drive there, I remembered him say that his replacement would be in atv11:00. I called back and he was kind enough to give me her email, something his coworker didn't even offer. He wouldn't give me anything but her name. I asked him to call the assistant manager, since he wouldn't call his manager and he said that they didn't have one. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

Great property. The room was surprisingly large. The lobby was cozy and warm with the fireplace. The staff let us check in at noon. The 2 girls up front were both so friendly and engaging. I would stay here again.

It’s just right up the street from the downtown area. We took an Uber because we wanted to drink. Very clean. Beds are comfortable. Pillows too. Would stay again and it didn’t break the bank.

Good location off highway and outside of Lake Geneva proper. Clean and updated hotel. Staff was okay, but not necessarily over accommodating (outside smoking), many times not sitting at front counter but waiting on bell to ring.

Great breakfast choices, each day hot food was different. Rooms were big and beds were comfy! Fridge and microwave in all rooms. Hot tub was perfect each morning. Close to everything!

Great location, just a quick drive into Lake Geneva. The area was very quiet. The pool and hot tub area were clean and well maintained. The room I stayed in was large, the beds were comfy. The breakfast and coffee could use some help, but free breakfast is free breakfast!

Rooms were great; the daily breakfast was the same each day, but fresh and delicious with a nice variety of items to choose from. This hotel is located very central to the activities we had planned, so worked out well for us. Would stay here again for sure.

Comfort Inn was ok! I liked the location in Lake Geneva. We came for a couple get away that wouldn’t break the bank. Their ice machine and hot tub were broken. The breakfast had eggs, sausage, waffles, bagels….the eggs were quite cold.

5 min from downtown. This was such a convenient location!! I loved the fire pit area and the pool. Pool open until 11PM which is why I chose this hotel. I didn’t eat the breakfast but it was probably one of the best free breakfasts that I’ve seen. Mini omelets, bacon, make your own waffles and all the usual stuff. Room could’ve been vacuumed better and that’s my only complaint. Already making plans to come back! Right in the middle of the magic theatre and Tuscan Tavern & Grill. Oh and they let me check in 2 hours early!!!!!!

This is our fourth time staying at this hotel because its location is great, the rooms are always clean, and its not super pricey compared to right in downtown Geneva options. The kids loved the splash pad and pool and we enjoyed the snack center options including wine and beer. The breakfast options are fine, typical of a choice hotel, but the coffee was not good. Several groups of our family were in multiple rooms and all of us commented that we only had two towels but the reception gave us more towels upon request.

We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a King Suite with Jacuzzi ..NICE!! The breakfast had wonderful chocolate muffins two of the days we were there. Parking was easy, and the hotel nicely located. Loved the hot tub as well.

The pool was heated. It had a very nice kiddie pool with fun water features and a relaxing hot tub. The breakfast was very nice. You could make your own waffles every morning and every day there was a different hot side to go with the scrambled eggs. Staff was friendly and helpful. Cleaning was very good. Room was spacious
