Our room at this AmericInn was very clean and comfortable. The shampoo and body wash bottles in the shower were quite high and difficult to get a reasonable amount of product from the pumps. But overall, a good quality room. The one downside to this hotel is the complimentary breakfast, which was very poor. Noone appeared to be assigned to keep it stocked. Most days there was only milk and apple sauce in the refrigerator, no yogurt, hard boiled eggs, etc. The scrambled/omelet eggs in the warming pan were often dried out. There were no muffins or sweet rolls, only sliced bread. Several mornings, we had to go to the desk to ask to have the coffee refilled. The local Pine Ridge restaurant is a better choice for breakfast.

I booked through Expedia, and the lady who checked me in had all sorts of trouble dealing with that. She asked me to run a card for incidentals. The card reader said it went through, but there's was some snag on her side. I ended up running the card three times before she finally just recorded it as a cash transaction. Inconvenient, but ok. The next morning I checked out in person to make sure the previous night's check-in woes weren't on my card. I was assured I was set. However, my credit card statement reflected two charges and one credit--not for the incidental fee, but for the room. When that room fee was charged to my card, I called the property. The manager was borderline rude and refused to listen to my complaint, insisting it was all taken care of. I have filed a charge dispute with my credit card company.
