Parking sucks. As a 64 year old woman I had to struggle with my luggage in the dark up stairs to get into the hotel, to find no signage as to where anything was. Breakfast was terrible and the staff couldn’t even understand English to tell her there was no plates or knives available. Pool was ice cold. All in all will not go back to this hotel!

Great stay! Great location! A couple blocks from the mustard museum (worth checking out!) pool and hot tub were fantastic! The pool was heated. Our kids loved it and we loved that it was open 24 hours! The Check in guys were very friendly and helpful! The breakfast was probably the best I’ve ever had at any hotel and we travel 20-25 times a year. The breakfast attendant was very friendly and helpful, even giving our kids some taffy which they still are talking about. No complaints. Room was clean and staff were all great!

The daily complimentary breakfast was enjoyable 4 days in a row. Although most breakfast food is the same each day be creative each day preparing different ways. The first night temperature was 79-80 degrees in hotel room as air conditioning did not work in the 2 bedroom suite Suite 102. Next day I was offered assessable one bedroom suite which air worked but had the strangest smell in the room. Hotel sold out so no choice. Third day my clothes smelled like the weird smell (room 115) so I washed all my clothes that day in a free laundry/dryer/detergent laundry room in hotel which I completely enjoyed the free laundry. The 4th night was just as nice as third night in suite 134. Pool and whirlpool are very nice.

There was no elevator for four nights--placed on the third floor with cerebral palsy. No apology, no attempt to help. Had to haul luggage down the stairs. Also no air conditioning and no wi-fi. Think carefully before booking!

Remodeling was going on so it was constant pounding in the room right above us until about 8 at night. Then on Sunday morning it started up again around 8:30-9. That should be told to us at check in. We loved our room. It was clean and comfortable. My daughter and her familysroom was disgustingly dirty. Dog poop on the floor next to the bed and then she looked under the bed and there was all kinds of garbage, even a. The lady at the front desk wasn’t very helpful. No room available for them to move into and sll she did was come with a broom and dust pan to clean it up. No disinfectant or anything. Yukkkk!Vaping pipe

Pros, Excellent breakfast. One of the best free hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. The receptionist was very helpful. Con’s, Deadbolt didn’t work on the door. Elevator, hallways, rooms, etc were all very dirty and run down. The mattress felt cheap and uncomfortable. The parking was very confusing.

Advertised pet fee on Hotels.com is $25 but they charged $35 once I got to the property. Lots of stained carpet and rotted ceiling tiles throughout the property. In need of serious upgrades.

Bed bugs 20 bites. Probably had pets in room before we stayed there. Managers said he’d see about that…. Too late for me though as arms & legs bitten up Make sure to get a no pet room or just go elsewhere fir $175 per night. Breakfast great though.

Was not aware that whole hotel allowed dogs in ALL their rooms. Very obviously the rooms were not deep cleaned after dogs check out. Pull out couch was old, ragged, and musty. There were rips in the outer edges of couch. Would not stay here if you have any allergies. Mold was evident on all the ac vents.

Walkable restaurants and shops is very convenient. Located directly next to a busy highway with on ramp. Our room was next to the hiway on the Northwest side. Very noisy so request a room away from that side. Refrigerator did not work properly even after someone looked at it. Breakfast buffet was good, just don't wait till the last 15 mins to eat or it will be closed 5 minutes before you get there.

Size of the rooms is wonderful. The beds are comfortable with plenty of pillows and extra blankets provided when asked for. The kitchenette and full sized fridge were very useful, and the breakfast, social hour and pool/hot tub were all very welcome amenities. The furniture, carpet, drapes and paint could use an update but the size of the rooms, convenient location and plentiful amenities more than make up for it. This was our second stay here in 6 months and will be our go-to lodging in Madison area in the future.

The room was clean. Staff nice and friendly. Card sometimes not working and need to be re-activated. Love the room tv entertainment and curtain. Breakfast was free but if you arrive at the last 20 minutes, there will be fewer options. Bed was very comfortable. The only issue was the noise from outside and upstairs. I can still here the outside even I closed the window.

This hotel was disappointing. There was a lot of noise outside our window by the patio area late at night and in the hallway. The TV was old and small with and limited selections. Okay breakfast selections, but the eggs and sausage were cold. It is a convenient location.

This COULD have been an extremely great stay, but it ended up being average. The room was nice, but 3 things could have made it a great stay: 1) our bathroom light was out. I reported this in person to the front desk at 445pm and asked for it to be repaired before we returned from dinner. We got back after 7pm and it wasn't fixed. 2) I picked up the room phone to report this continuing problem and the phone didn't work either. At this point, I gave up on having light to shower or use the toilet. And I wasn't about to go back downstairs to the front desk. 3) The couch was a little beat up. We could live with this. But the first 2 problems just made it a location we'd likely avoid in the future.

Pros, Excellent breakfast. One of the best free hotel breakfasts I’ve ever had. The receptionist was very helpful. Con’s, Deadbolt didn’t work on the door. Elevator, hallways, rooms, etc were all very dirty and run down. The mattress felt cheap and uncomfortable. The parking was very confusing.

There was no elevator for four nights--placed on the third floor with cerebral palsy. No apology, no attempt to help. Had to haul luggage down the stairs. Also no air conditioning and no wi-fi. Think carefully before booking!

It was a safe place with a nice location in proximity to downtown Middleton and the beltline HWY. You could walk to restaurants and shops. We were staying during a move and ended up staying a week. The staff were so kind and accommodating.

Walkable restaurants and shops is very convenient. Located directly next to a busy highway with on ramp. Our room was next to the hiway on the Northwest side. Very noisy so request a room away from that side. Refrigerator did not work properly even after someone looked at it. Breakfast buffet was good, just don't wait till the last 15 mins to eat or it will be closed 5 minutes before you get there.

Waited forever for the front desk help. Had to inquire about the lack of parking and ask for the opportunity to park in the garage. It was dark and confusing to enter. Room was located right next to the highway/cloverleaf; loud. As always the Staybridge was clean. Breakfast amazing. Would stay again, but request opposite side of hotel (we were 241)

I really like the place. For me the feature is 24/7 pool/hot tub but it also has large room, and a good breakfast. Downside is location. If you have activities downtown this place feels to far away even if it is only 8 miles away. Either need to going away out around on the belt-line or a straight line that is heavy with taffic lights. Either way a 25-30 minutes trip.

There was a tip jar in the breakfast area which is unusual. I don’t carry cash, so I would prefer to pay a bit more for the room and have the employees get a higher wage. The front desk staff was very friendly.

Great stay! Great location! A couple blocks from the mustard museum (worth checking out!) pool and hot tub were fantastic! The pool was heated. Our kids loved it and we loved that it was open 24 hours! The Check in guys were very friendly and helpful! The breakfast was probably the best I’ve ever had at any hotel and we travel 20-25 times a year. The breakfast attendant was very friendly and helpful, even giving our kids some taffy which they still are talking about. No complaints. Room was clean and staff were all great!

The only thing good about this hotel is the breakfast. This is a typical lower-end motel that is starting to show wear. My family had 2 rooms. The door to my room was broken when I checked in, but was fixed when I pointed it out. In my brother's room, the internet shut off about 11pm every night of our 3 night stay. We asked the front desk about it and the very nice young woman looked at us like we were crazy. Also, the phone in my brother's room didn't work. A different (but also nice) young woman at the front desk told us that the phones in a lot of rooms don't work. Note: Hotels.com lists the Staybridge Suites as having a restaurant. There is no restaurant, just a breakfast room, but you have to read the reviews to learn this. (I'll let Hotels.com know so they can update the listing.) Fortunately, there are lots of good places to eat within walking distance. I recommend Happy Wok.

This hotel is still a good place to stay but some of the rooms and furniture are showing wear and need renovatoon and replacement. The breakfast is ok, but lacked any muffins or scones on several days while we were there. Orange juice was out one day, cranberry juice the next. Need more attention to detail. Many stains are carpets.

This hotel was disappointing. There was a lot of noise outside our window by the patio area late at night and in the hallway. The TV was old and small with and limited selections. Okay breakfast selections, but the eggs and sausage were cold. It is a convenient location.

This property needs a complete renovation. It’s clean but old. Need more gluten free options for breakfast too. The kitchen smells up the entire facility. I think they overcharge for the level of service and lack of renovation.

The room was nice and clean. Well stocked with anything you would need on your trip. The pool had great hours. The hot tub was nice. The pool was so cold I couldn't use it. After 30 mins I had to make my child get out because she so cold her lips were starting to turn purple. The breakfast was great. If the pool was warm enough to use I would make this my go to place anytime I was in the area.

The hallways smelled like urine, there were roaches crawling around the breakfast bar, the front exit door handle was broken so you couldn't get in through that door, and there seemed to be only one person working the front desk that was (sometimes) available. I saw one woman wait over 20 minutes for someone to show up at the counter. And out of ALL the rooms in the hotel, the put me right next door to a room that's being renovated. Also, the shower knob has about a 1/10th inch variance between warm and *$#@! scalding hot. NOT a relaxing stay, and NOT worth the money.

We had three adults staying in a two bedroom suite with a pull out couch. The staff was polite and let us check in 15 minutes early. The suite was fairly clean though the couch was very stained with crumbs under the cushions. In the bedroom, one curtain was torn and the kitchen faucet was broken. Aside from the couch, there was one chair in the room to share among three adults wanting to sit at the table. There were no benches or luggage racks in the room. Finally, the hotel was undergoing renovations so that loud construction sounds could be heard in the lobby and room. The website didn’t mention renovations or else we would likely have chosen to stay elsewhere.

Unfortunately I arrived the afternoon that the hotel was doing major maintenance and construction. During the evening hours I stepped out of my room and the entire second floor hallway was overwhelmed with a burning smell (downstairs construction workers were cutting slab in the dining area). It gave me a migraine :( Not the way I wanted my stay to be. However, the front desk people were very nice and tried to change me to the third floor, but they were booked. If you can, contact the property first to see in what stage they are in the construction before you stay there. Once it is done, it looks like it is going to be good.
