Older, slightly outdated hotel that is clean and managed well with a friendly staff. Nice quiet courtyard with tables and chairs for relaxing and/or eating. Breakfast has the standard options but is good and is definitely better than the grab-and-go breakfast that many places offer. We didn’t use the kitchenette but it's a nice perk if staying for more than a night.

It’s worth noting that some of the photos online might not fully represent the current condition of the hotel. There were a few maintenance issues during our stay: the toilet clogged easily, the sink drained slowly, and the shower water pressure was modest, likely due to a problem with the diverter valve. While there was plenty of warm water, the hottest setting left just a bit to be desired. On the plus side, parking is abundant, even for larger vehicles like coaches and trucks. However, some guests fail to park correctly despite clear signage, making navigation a bit frustrating. Breakfast service was surprisingly well-managed. The staff worked hard to keep the coffee, eggs, and sausage replenished and the area clean, even with some guests blocking access to the coffee and beverage dispensers and being messy and not picking up after themselves. An extended stay hotel where one clerk said “no one stays here more than one night” as my room key expired 5 times in a 9-night stay. The dishwasher is very loud and kept us up. The hallway consistently smelled like marijuana. The bed was uncomfortable and room layout awkward. It was hard to access the closet. The elevator did not work some times. All of the soaps and toiletries were watered down and low quality, definitely not the Dove on the label. Housekeeping did a decent job and one of the front desk staff was kind and professional. Everyone else was silent and could not be bothered. I will not return.

Great location. Elevator was down when I checked in and wasnt up and running until a few days later. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Morning breakfast was the same each day. Coffee was good. You definitely get what you pay for at this location. My 2 bed suite was ok. The room had a weird odor to it. Furniture is old, broken and needs to be refreshed or new. Carpet was dirty . Bed was obviously sagging. Bathroom has the basics, but could use a refresh. Nothing special. The vanity light flickered at times.

The noise coming through the windows of traffic was loud, had to turn up the tv. Our room had an electrical hazard and refrigerator problem which we reported to the staff and the USA flag outside was in extremely poor condition.

I liked how clean our room was. We got the two bedroom studio suite! It was very clean! There was t any hair in our tub, they use dove products to give to customers instead of that cheap hotel soap, the kitchenette was clean, no stains in the fridge. The downsides were the disgusting breakfast options and the elevator was broken our entire stay. We had a 4 day 3 night stay so we had a lot of luggage we had to bring up and down the stairs for 4 people.

The Bathroom Fan sounded like a lawn Mower and also the Garbage Disposal. The elevator didn't work 5 times had to go to front desk to let them know. We are 70 years old and were on 2nd floor. The night person just sat when told her and never moved. The person in the morning stated they have told the owner and nothing has been done. They had to keep going to circuit breaker. This should be reported to the fire department because it could cause issues and won't meet the ADA Code. Also the people above us it sounded like they were jumping all the time pass 11pm.

Well I didn't like the room I understand that they allow pets but the people with no pets or never had a pet should not be in a room where pets where or have damage a room that I should had to stay in the room was dirty wasn't properly clean and sticky floor I just wasn't happen with it

I stayed at Expedia March 25-26. Room 102 had bed bugs. Yes room 102. Hawthorn Suites management refused to refund me for their bed bugs. According to Expedia, Hawthorn management stated that "no other customers complained about bed bugs." Maybe other customers like bed bugs. I DO NOT. I have been to Hawthorn Suites many times; however, I will not return due to not being refunded for bed bugs. How can a billion-dollar company NOT refund a customer that has a history of staying at their hotel? Do they really think that I was trying to beat them out of $100? I will definitely spread the word that ROOM 102 at Hawthorn Suites has bed bugs. I'm sure no one will reach out to me because that's what this world is coming to. I'm just one customer and I won't stop their billion dollars from coming in.

Room smelt like cat pee and after crawling on the floor fir 20 minutes my grandson's knees and the to of his socks were both black. Very dirty. Every floor had an odor of marijuana and i have a child that is allergic. Was very unsatisfied with the room and some of the staff. Would not recommend to anyone with children, actually, wouldn't recommend it to anyone

I did appreciate the fully stocked kitchen area and the fact that the two beds were in different rooms. It was just SO LOUD. The kids took forever to fall asleep and it was almost impossible to stay asleep.

The sofa was very uncomfortable. The bed is uncomfortable. TV and remote control did not function correctly. There was no ironing board in the room. The WiFi disconnected several times during my two night stay. The dishwasher was full of clean items. The room clean.

We rented a 2-room suite. Maximum occupancy 6. Our room was on the front of the building with a street nearby. The first night was very noisy. I found the window in our room wasn't closed completely and the window seals were damaged. After closing the window, traffic noise was marginally better. The living room had a sofa bed and 2 desk chairs, providing seating for 4. There was 1 lamp. In the evening it was dark. We moved a lamp from one of the bedrooms. I mentioned it to the front desk and the reply was "I'm sorry, all the rooms are like that". The shower head sprayed water all over the wall and floor due to a leaking connection. Maintenance replaced the head while we were out. It still leaked just not as much. Dishwasher door was broken and difficult to open. Placard on the front of the dishwasher that would have provided important information was missing. Instructions said to turn knob to "Normal". There was no way of knowing where "Normal" was. Additionally, dishwasher wasn't fastened in place adding to the difficulty opening the door. To me the showerhead and dishwasher issues are inexcusable. I am certain the housekeeping staff knew of these issues. They should have been reported and corrected.

I stayed 1/24-1/26. Stay was great and I’d stay again if opportunity allows. Would be 5 star if it wasn’t for having to switch rooms upon arrival. 1st room smelled of smoke and had strong air freshener smell trying to mask it. They gladly assigned another room which was great but there appeared to be an obvious problem with a working tv in that new room. Tv just showed a no signal message. Front desk indicated that maintenance is called often to this room to attempt to correct it. Overall, it was a good stay and worth the price.
I stayed 1/24-1/26. Stay was great and I’d stay again if opportunity allows. Would be 5 star if it wasn’t for having to switch rooms upon arrival. 1st room smelled of smoke and had strong air freshener smell trying to mask it. They gladly assigned another room which was great but there appeared to be an obvious problem with a working tv in that new room. Tv just showed a no signal message. Front desk indicated that maintenance is called often to this room to attempt to correct it. Overall, it was a good stay and worth the price.

What I like is that there’s a stove and a big refrigerator,the bed comfortably fine but the sofa bed is broken, I like the bathroom too it’s clean. What I didn’t like was the cabinets in the kitchen were so dirty,and the hotel is close too the road that’s why it’s was a noisy stay and sofa bed is crooked and broken so I recommend that the staff should fix it. Ty

The check in was terrible! First they made me wait while they tried to figure out the cash drawer. Next they didn’t have the 2 bedroom suite we had reserved. They wanted my wife and I to share a standard 2 bed room. We had to argue for two rooms for the same price. Which they gave us. Our room was cold when we got it and over 40 minutes it just kept getting colder no matter how we adjusted the heater. After calling the front desk a couple of times they sent up a repair man, who said our heater was broken and my wife and I needed to move to a different room. (Her sister’s were already settled for the night in their room). They moved us to a 2 bedroom suite like we had originally reserved. Then in the morning they gave me 2 receipts that made it look like we paid twice the agreed price.

Staff had two other people they were checking in when we arrived and the two woman at front desk just kept sighing and sighing while checking those people in like they were bothered by being at work. When I got up to front desk, the lady was extremely rude and then just walked away from me and left the counter and the other woman had to help me who also was still just super annoyed to be there. customer service was awful.

When we first got into our room we noticed the dishwasher was broken and wasnt completely under the counter. Then we realized the kitchen table was broken. One of the wheels broke on one of the legs so it wouldn't sit right. The man who welcomed us was very kind but the lady who worked 3rd shift was very rude and did not help us at all. When i bought snacks from the lobby she was not friendly at all. We had 5 adults and asked for 3 extra pillows. She told us she couldnt get us pillows because that was housekeeping. I was not happy with our stay at all!

We rented a 2-room suite. Maximum occupancy 6. Our room was on the front of the building with a street nearby. The first night was very noisy. I found the window in our room wasn't closed completely and the window seals were damaged. After closing the window, traffic noise was marginally better. The living room had a sofa bed and 2 desk chairs, providing seating for 4. There was 1 lamp. In the evening it was dark. We moved a lamp from one of the bedrooms. I mentioned it to the front desk and the reply was "I'm sorry, all the rooms are like that". The shower head sprayed water all over the wall and floor due to a leaking connection. Maintenance replaced the head while we were out. It still leaked just not as much. Dishwasher door was broken and difficult to open. Placard on the front of the dishwasher that would have provided important information was missing. Instructions said to turn knob to "Normal". There was no way of knowing where "Normal" was. Additionally, dishwasher wasn't fastened in place adding to the difficulty opening the door. To me the showerhead and dishwasher issues are inexcusable. I am certain the housekeeping staff knew of these issues. They should have been reported and corrected.

I liked a location of hotel. It is nice and quiet place. Stuff was friendly. Rooms are little smaller for more than two persons. When you pull up a couch it doesn’t leave you much space. Rooms are decent but not as clean as I expected. Mattress on pull up couch was very dirty with huge questionable stain. Bed was very clean and comfortable. Overall we had really good time.

Older, slightly outdated hotel that is clean and managed well with a friendly staff. Nice quiet courtyard with tables and chairs for relaxing and/or eating. Breakfast has the standard options but is good and is definitely better than the grab-and-go breakfast that many places offer. We didn’t use the kitchenette but it's a nice perk if staying for more than a night.

The suite was very clean and well stocked. The lobby and halls were also very clean. There was a long wait because only one check-in clerk on a Sat. Still all in all, we were very pleased with everything except the breakfast. The breakfast deficiencies were; coffe urn empty, no cereal and no milk or yogurt. The eggs were almost out and what was there was burned and the sausage was greasy. Get the breakfast right and this would be a great place to stay

I liked how clean our room was. We got the two bedroom studio suite! It was very clean! There was t any hair in our tub, they use dove products to give to customers instead of that cheap hotel soap, the kitchenette was clean, no stains in the fridge. The downsides were the disgusting breakfast options and the elevator was broken our entire stay. We had a 4 day 3 night stay so we had a lot of luggage we had to bring up and down the stairs for 4 people.

Very disappointed. I was charged a $150 security deposit. That seems quite high by industry standards. I noticed it got charged to my account and was not released. I contacted the hotel a few days later asking the status. She first asked if I had two rooms? She then said she showed it released and to contact my bank. My bank said it was not showing anything, just that charge was put through fully. Still arguing about it. Room was kinda dirty as well. Crumbs and gunk especially in kitchen. Top of fridge very dusty. Great layout of the room but everywhere in the hotel, furniture seemed worn and in need of replacing.

The bathroom tile was broken and looked like it was beginning to sag in the bathroom. We stayed in a lot of hotels in our travels and this is the first time I’ve had a cockroach in our room. We will not be staying here again.
