Overall, this hotel is not worth the money. The bathroom felt gross and dirty. The sauna listed in the amenities was not working and pool towels were scarce. FYI there is no elevator so if you're traveling with kids and have a lot of stuff/coolers you don't want to lug up and down the stairs then request first floor. They will NOT let you switch after they assign you a room even if you just checked in 5 minutes before and haven't even been in the room yet. No one was at the front desk around checkout time for receipts or questions. Another gentleman said he waited almost 2 hours to check in simply because no one was at the front desk. Besides the bathroom feeling icky the room itself felt clean and was in good working order. Nothing special about it. The breakfast was decent and I felt like there were enough options to choose from.

Overall hotel wasn’t bad. Was clean. Everything in room worked. The bad, stood at front desk for 15 minutes ringing bell before someone finally came from down the hall to check me in. Picked this hotel because a Sauna was advertised but was not operational. Which was upsetting as I chose this hotel for that reason alone.

Pool area is great! Large hot tub and pool and has a sauna which you don’t see too often anymore. Bed was comfy. Awesome breakfast! Would definitely stay again!

The building was older, but they have done some nice updates and decorating. Our room was clean, smelled fine and was quiet. The only down side was that the hot tub wasn't hot (tepid) and the jets weren't working.

My guests room was never cleaned. Trash and towels all over the place, beds, not stripped and sheets changed. First hallway light did not work. This was room 121. Walked back to check in and let them know. He upgraded my guest to a suite, room 130. This was my treat for my guest, so I’m not real happy.

Disappointed that it said this had been remodeled within last five years and the upkeep wasn't happening in room ie chipped paint and stains. Communication was short and limited with staff and not understanding of what we tried to convey. Lights didn't turn on when walking into room and flipping switch hard to find where and what lights worked in the dark. Shower head had too much hard water deposit on it to flow well. Bathroom fan very very loud and turned on every time light did. Floors were not clean-dirt and stains visible on carpet and tile. Pillows on one bed smelled so strongly of pot that our hair and skin smelled. Toothpaste on wall next to sink. Grease stains on the headboard. Stain on curtain. Only a few couple channels worked on TV. It had snowed days before and the drive had snow still which is understandable, but salting so not so slick walking on sidewalk would have been nice. Would not stay again.

Multiple bugs found in bed.. We stayed for two nights, at first we thought it was going to be exactly what we paid for. We woke up the next day with multiple bugs in our bed.. I took pictures and showed the front desk employee as we checked out, come to find out it was the owner. Promised one night back for bad experience, Expedia even got involved and they still not refunded me.. disputing with my credit card. We knew multiple people that stayed there. Do yourself a solid and go somewhere else.

This was convenient and priced reasonably. I could hear road noise all night. My room was next to the guest laundry and I heard the machines too. The heater rattled too. Breakfast was very basic and not very tasty. The bed was very comfortable and everything was clean if a little run down.

We stayed for less time as we arrived late. But my overall experience staying at this hotel was average. Rooms size were small. Bed duvet cover fabric had pilling, maybe due to extensive use. Major issue was the water logging in the bathroom tub. Breakfast was good, toaster was half working.

Location- Good- right off the freeway, easy access, room was quiet even though do close to freeway. Gas and some fast food nearby. Beds-Good-comfortable, clean, comfy, 4 pillows on the king bed. Best part of our stay. Bathroom- clean but worse for wear and cramped- tall person kept hitting his head on the curtain rod when getting up from the toilet. Shower- amazing water pressure and volume. Staff- friendly. Small tub in bathroom by toilet was worn and stained but clean and wouldn’t plug. Breakfasts: Good selection of your average hotel food. Weekends they had good biscuits and decent gravy but weekdays these were not offered. Cleanliness- it was cleaner than our first impression- the fabric and carpeted areas of the lobby, chairs and hallways showed very heavy use grime buildup and stains, which gave a very bad first impression. Those lobby chairs I wouldn’t let my dog sit in. However the bathrooms, beds and food areas all seemed reassuringly clean. The hotel has seen some hard and heavy use- the particle board furniture in our room had a broken face board on the bottom, the paint on doors and walls had heavy scrapes and dings. Some areas like the tile around the tub looked freshly done. Quiet- it was also a mix- for how close to the highway it was, you barely heard anything from outside but the air conditioning in the room was so loud it started us awake every time it cycled on and off throughout the night. We had to crank it down so it wouldn’t cycle so much.

Check in was fast, service courteous. Room, clean. Internet was very spotty in my section of the hotel and was a big worry because I had to attend a 2-hour class via zoom. This class was mandatory and expensive, and is the reason I stayed in Plover overnight instead of making the 3.5-hour drive back home. My phone was never able to hook up to the Internet (iPhone 13 Pro Max). Also, the bathroom sink was VERY slow to drain. Other than that, a good stay. Thanks.

The man I dealt with was very rude when trying to figure out why a credit card charge would not go through for someone coming to town for business. I went there, in person, to make sure they had correct card information. Then when the guest arrived they told them that they would have to pay for their own room in order to stay there. Frustrated, I called asking why this happened and the man was VERY RUDE on the phone. Then assured me that they would only charge the one card. That was a lie, the 2nd card was also charged. This is not the first time our business has had difficulty when getting rooms paid for correctly. Just be very careful and triple check bank statements after staying there.

I stayed at this hotel for a family funeral, and the experience was very upsetting. The first room I was given had a strong, unpleasant odor, so I politely asked to switch rooms. No one was working the front desk when we arrived. I called the hotel front desk phone 3 times with no answer. Finally found a housekeeper who went to find the desk clerk. In total room about 25 minutes to find him.

Good budget stay. Nothing fancy here but it's a decent well kept place in a good area with easy access to Interstate, food establishments, and shopping. Kid friendly. Pool.

Location- Good- right off the freeway, easy access, room was quiet even though do close to freeway. Gas and some fast food nearby. Beds-Good-comfortable, clean, comfy, 4 pillows on the king bed. Best part of our stay. Bathroom- clean but worse for wear and cramped- tall person kept hitting his head on the curtain rod when getting up from the toilet. Shower- amazing water pressure and volume. Staff- friendly. Small tub in bathroom by toilet was worn and stained but clean and wouldn’t plug. Breakfasts: Good selection of your average hotel food. Weekends they had good biscuits and decent gravy but weekdays these were not offered. Cleanliness- it was cleaner than our first impression- the fabric and carpeted areas of the lobby, chairs and hallways showed very heavy use grime buildup and stains, which gave a very bad first impression. Those lobby chairs I wouldn’t let my dog sit in. However the bathrooms, beds and food areas all seemed reassuringly clean. The hotel has seen some hard and heavy use- the particle board furniture in our room had a broken face board on the bottom, the paint on doors and walls had heavy scrapes and dings. Some areas like the tile around the tub looked freshly done. Quiet- it was also a mix- for how close to the highway it was, you barely heard anything from outside but the air conditioning in the room was so loud it started us awake every time it cycled on and off throughout the night. We had to crank it down so it wouldn’t cycle so much.

I have stayed here before with no problems. Location is easy on/off of interstate. Many food options along with a Brewery near by. Quick 5-7 min drive via the interstate if you have to get to the Stevens Point or UW- Stevens Point

I spent a lot of time reading the reviews to find a good hotel. For the price of the room, I would have expected better quality. The room itself was fair, didn't look like the pictures in the review. We had an in-room hot tub, which worked, but when I pushed the button to turn on the jets, the button fell off in my hand. I was worried that I would have to call to have the hot tub turned off, but I was able to manipulate the button to turn it off. This happened every time I used it. We really were there to spend time outdoors so the room was doable, but definitely not worth the cost and had an odd smell. Breakfast was sub-par.

Room was very quiet and dark at night. Breakfast was excellent, scrabbled eggs were the best I have had at a hotel. Pool and hot tub were just the right temperatures.

Breakfast needs to be warm I took mine back to my room to microwave it we would get there at 7am and the food was always cold especially the sausage otherwise everything was very good

Pool area is great! Large hot tub and pool and has a sauna which you don’t see too often anymore. Bed was comfy. Awesome breakfast! Would definitely stay again!

The hotel itself was good & the breakfast too. The hot tub is the problem - it wasn't hot. It was barely warm. The sauna wasn't hot either, even after 30 minutes of warm up time. If you don't care about those 2 things, the stay is nice enough

The person that greeted me and checked me in, was very nice and expressed a willingness to help with anything that I needed. The only thing that I thought could be better was that they could’ve had a little notepads in a room for me to write on. Overall, it was a good stay.

Staff at this hotel were very pleasant and our stay was better than expected. We originally thought they only offered a continental breakfast - that was wrong! They had a hot fresh breakfast every day and the food was excellent! There was one person working breakfast and she never let anything run out despite how many people were eating. They left fruit and cereal out all day so you can have some if you wanted. I loved this for my picky child who only wanted cereal to eat. We have never stayed at an AmericInn before and were prepared to be disappointed, needless to say we were not disappointed at all. Our only set back were the rooms were a little on the smaller side for the 4 of us but we figured it out and our stay was absolutely perfect! The water pressure in the shower was amazing! If we are in the area again we will choose this hotel. This particular trip brought us to Stevens Point due to a soccer tournament. To close - excellent, excellent, excellent customer service! Keep up the great work!
