All good except laminate flooring needs to be cleaned with a wet swiffer with soap, not dry swiffer mop, ppas the floor looked clean but was a bit dirty. Also sheets need to be bleached, they were clean, however, a few stains on sheets. Service was excellent. Pool room was nice and warm. Breakfast area was very nice, however, I think it should stay open until 10am on weekends. Thank you.

Check in and staff were very friendly. The room was clean. Towels has some minor stains but we're fine. The room temperature controls were awful. Heat set to 61 and it was way to hot but cool set to 80 was way too cold. The hotel was a little maze like but that made it fun and interesting. The pool area was very open, a little dark but fine for the kids to play. Overall a great hotel for a hockey tournament and would recommend.

The property was within close driving distance to the 4-day event we attended. Parking lot was ample & well lit when arriving back late at night. Staff was prompt to our requests for additional towels. Complementary breakfast was just ok. On the negative side, the bathroom was EXTREMELY small. There was a pedestal sink with no counter space. Wall shelving would have helped to alleviate this issue, however there was none. Generally, travelers have a significant amount of cosmetics & personal products. Poorly designed bathrooms with no exhaust fans.

Great price and so far so good. I have said stayed here before and the room you old looking and the ac didn’t work. But now the room is totally updated and the ac works. New refrigerator and updated bathroom. Also beds and bedding is new. Pool room was much better than it was when I was here last.

Enjoyed my stay and my room was clean and spacious with a large balcony, however it could use some updating and the pool area needs attention. The pool water was cloudy with a greenish tint and the hot tub had film floating on top and debris in bottom of tub so was not gonna use either. Staff was friendly and close to restaurants and shops. Would stay here again.

The staff was very nice an it has been updated inside (for most part) but we came an hour after check in time and the room was still not ready for another 30 min. They just finished cleaning and must use only fabuloso so that was extremely over powering and the floors were so sticky an turn my feet black. The white comforter had stains all over it couldnt even use it. The bathroom was strange, very small doorway an the toilet was angled so to get toilet paper had to reach behind you. They could use a dusting in the bathroom as well, i know they rushed cause room wasnt ready but still should've had it fully cleaned. The patio off our room was quite nice. Went down to the pool area an saw the pool was murky green. The hot tub was crystal clear an working tho, also had a pool table there as well which was nice.

This hotel is newly renovated and very conveniently located in downtown Rhinelander. Walkable from the restaurants in downtown and just down the street from the main drag. Pleasant stay, had a good breakfast offering, clean room and had great customer service. My only nit-picky critiques are that the hotel room floor could use a good mop, the gym needs better airflow/a plugged in AC unit as well as disinfecting wipes or spray to clean the equipment with. Overall, nice hotel stay and would recommend.

The hotel is situated in "downtown" Rhinelander, where my son and I traveled to for a multi-day cycling event. Though, downtown, the setting surrounding the hotel is far from desirable to look at... With rundown homes, scenes of drunk people leaving the bar nextdoor, and the unkempt asphalt parking lot. The staff were rude / unwelcoming, and it seemed that their guests were a burdon to them. The room was renovated, from some previous state of being, to what it is now, without much attention to detail; shotty, sloppy caulking and painting. The HVAC was functional. The door to our balcony was difficult to open / close, and every time we went out there, we could smell nothing but cigarette smoke visiting us from other rooms' balconies. The floor was absolutely filthy, and we never received any service... I never saw a single cleaning person in three days. The linens were all old, thin, dingy, and stained, though I believe they were clean... We never received any fresh towels or mid-stay cleaning. We did not use the pool or hot tub, as the water was a bit cloudy for my taste. The free breakfast is exactly what you'd expect after reading the above, too... We did not partake. I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend the establishment to friends or family.

This is a great short stay hotel that is pet friendly. Staff were nice, rooms were very clean and the beds were really comfortable. My only negative is the pool was a little green, needed to be shocked but the hot tub made up for it.

It was the last hotel available when we arrived. The room was dirty. A huge Hairball inside the pillows on the bed. Bathroom small and cramped, toilet didn't flush properly, water leaked out of the shower. Garbage can (smelly and gross) inside entrance door. Layout was very cold and unwelcoming. No real places to actually sit on at arrival. The food was not too good either. Worst place to stay at.

The outside of the hotel was sketchy. After we booked we realized the hotel we really wanted us available and Expedia was willing to cancel but said the front desk was too busy to ask the manager for approval. We we got there the front desk aka manager. Aka food keeper. Aka bartender was there taking on all The jobs able to answer the phones no problem during our check in. The room Sheets were dirty with black hair on them. It smelled like smoke on our side of the hotel The breakfast was 5:/10. Nothing fancy. Basic cheap breakfast. I didn't like the mattress. Kind of old and lumpy. But i have a bad hip. Husband said it was fine for him but could be better. We'll stay again as the location is ideal for us. Room was very clean.

It was very clean except for out toilet which had dried urine on the bottom of the toilet and floor. Otherwise, the rest of the room and hotel was very well maintained. Restaurants are within walking distance. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good.
It was very clean except for out toilet which had dried urine on the bottom of the toilet and floor. Otherwise, the rest of the room and hotel was very well maintained. Restaurants are within walking distance. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was good.

Facility was clean, rooms were clean. New laminate flooring is a nice touch. When the property was remodeled recently, elongated toilet bowls were used in the guest bathrooms where the facility was originally designed for round bowl toilets - they had to angle them to get the bathroom doors to close, pushing you into the vanity. In the lobby restroom, the plumbing to flush the urinals was not redone properly during the remodel, & the facility has water shut off to the urinals, so they don't flush and the restroom smells terribly of stale urine.

Great price and so far so good. I have said stayed here before and the room you old looking and the ac didn’t work. But now the room is totally updated and the ac works. New refrigerator and updated bathroom. Also beds and bedding is new. Pool room was much better than it was when I was here last.

upon arrival there was no one at the desk, you had to use the phone to get someone to check you in.when we checked in we paid in full, when we got back home we checked our bank account only to learn they charged us for another day, when called back they said oh it must be a mistake.they said check on Monday to see if it is credited.

Clarion Pointe is nicely located in the heart of Rhinelander. It has been recently renovated, and the furnishings are new. When the very nice front desk staff tells you that housekeeping comes to your room when requested, be advised that they come ONLY when requested. Your room will never be cleaned unless you ask. We found the included breakfast to be pretty awful. The coffee is especially bad. After the first morning, we walked elsewhere for breakfast each day.

Dan was absolutely amazing! Friendly and went out of his way to make sure we felt comfortable. Asked numerous times if we needed anything or how our stay was going. Great guy! The only downfall was there is only one elevator and having a handicapped family member with you, it was a long way to the room.

The hotel is situated in "downtown" Rhinelander, where my son and I traveled to for a multi-day cycling event. Though, downtown, the setting surrounding the hotel is far from desirable to look at... With rundown homes, scenes of drunk people leaving the bar nextdoor, and the unkempt asphalt parking lot. The staff were rude / unwelcoming, and it seemed that their guests were a burdon to them. The room was renovated, from some previous state of being, to what it is now, without much attention to detail; shotty, sloppy caulking and painting. The HVAC was functional. The door to our balcony was difficult to open / close, and every time we went out there, we could smell nothing but cigarette smoke visiting us from other rooms' balconies. The floor was absolutely filthy, and we never received any service... I never saw a single cleaning person in three days. The linens were all old, thin, dingy, and stained, though I believe they were clean... We never received any fresh towels or mid-stay cleaning. We did not use the pool or hot tub, as the water was a bit cloudy for my taste. The free breakfast is exactly what you'd expect after reading the above, too... We did not partake. I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend the establishment to friends or family.

The smell in the room was terrible, as a matter of fact two rooms beside us had the windows open (I'm sure to air the room out). As far as staff and service, the lady who checked us in was very nice, but she is the ONLY one on staff that we saw and only that one time. There was a phone available to call.

Staff gave good recommendations on where to eat in town. Location to the quaint downtown was great. The bed was comfortable and I had a good sleep. Breakfast was OK. Bathroom sink could have been a little more clean (could be hardwater ring in basin).

I have stayed in better hotels, but not in Rhinelander. Much need remodel was a success. Premier location, to me at least: Hodag Park--5 minute drive 15 min walk; Pioneer Park--4 minute drive, 12 minute walk, High School and Hodag Dome--7 minute drive, 15 min walk.

Good location, older hotel but nice rooms and lobby. Good breakfast to get you going. They are close to a bar with live music, it does wrap up by 10 PM, but if you go to bed earlier you may want a back room on weekends.

This hotel is newly renovated and very conveniently located in downtown Rhinelander. Walkable from the restaurants in downtown and just down the street from the main drag. Pleasant stay, had a good breakfast offering, clean room and had great customer service. My only nit-picky critiques are that the hotel room floor could use a good mop, the gym needs better airflow/a plugged in AC unit as well as disinfecting wipes or spray to clean the equipment with. Overall, nice hotel stay and would recommend.

We were charged the rate of a king suite for a double queen. The breakfast was cold and inedible, the milk was spoiled, the strawberry kiwi water was out both days. The toilet paper roll holder would flip upside down and the toilet paper would fall off. The pool and hottub were nice. The cleaner they used for the sheets made the room smell awful. Definitely not worth $350 for two nights.

The outside of the hotel was sketchy. After we booked we realized the hotel we really wanted us available and Expedia was willing to cancel but said the front desk was too busy to ask the manager for approval. We we got there the front desk aka manager. Aka food keeper. Aka bartender was there taking on all The jobs able to answer the phones no problem during our check in. This was a very nice and clean place to stay. Also, you can walk to some restaurants and shopping nearby. Check out Hodag Park as well. The beds were very comfortable and they had a good selection for the breakfast as well. We would definitely stay here again!

We arrived later in the evening. The hotel was dirty and dated. We got to the room and my husband killed about 4 flying bugs, there was cob webs everywhere, in a corner of the room where dead bugs on the floor, the bathroom was dirty. The bathroom door had dripping stains on both sides of it, was sticky, the toilet seat had poop stains on it, the sink and tub were dirty and dingy. I had to clean the bathroom before I could use it. We checked out a day earlier for our 2 night stay. The next morning I checked out of our room and had to call 0 at the front desk and spoke with a man I couldn’t understand very well and said no refund for checking out a day early. What a joke. Their pictures online are not what the hotel actually looks like inside. Purely run down and dirty. We didn’t eat the breakfast either. We didn’t want to take any chances. We will never come back to this hotel again. Pure disappointment all the way around
