Property is dated… loved the frig and toaster!! Rooms are clean. Bed was comfy … pillows small. Staff very friendly … grounds could be beautiful with some upkeep. We would go back !!!

Came at midnight on Thursday night. Keys were waiting for us. Left on Saturday. EZ. Right on the lake with a picnic area, another area nearby had a fire pit, and then down a few steps to the lake. Views were beautiful!!!

Parking was a bit of an issue due to 2 large pick up trucks with extended trailers parked side by side. Room nice & warm in spite of frigid temperatures. Staff very nice!

The room was clean and spacious. It did have a faint musty odor but that’s what you get when you’re near water. We had a hot tub room and the tub was large. The bed was comfortable. There is no ice machine on the property. The curtains were very good at blocking light. The breakfast was not a hot breakfast and there weren’t a lot of options for someone who is gluten free. We would stay again easily.

The place was nice and peaceful, but it was hot and stuffy in our room, the air conditioning was not working, hard to sleep because it was so hot. The beach was clean and beautiful view. We didn't pick a great weekend it rained the whole time, but the bars around there are great and everyone is so friendly still had a good time 😊

First time here. 25 rooms, quiet, employees are constantly walking around cleaning up. Fridge in the room impressive for the size. Had a sink and stove in the double bed room. Tomahawk is a beautiful area would most definitely recommend this place to stay. Valerie

This picture is far from the truth. It is very run downed. The furniture is very old. The deck needs staining. The breakfast was an absolute joke. We left without eating. First of all, it didn't start until 8am. Secondly, it consisted of hard packaged rolls (like Little Debbie), large bottle of orange juice you had to pour yourself a glass that all shared, no decaf coffee "we were throwing it out so you have to make your own in your room". We don't use coffee makers in rooms as you don't know when they've been cleaned. They also had Nutri-grain bars. There was packages of instant oatmeal but no bowls, no hot water. We mentioned that the hotel was very outdated and the gal told us that there just isn't money in the budget to remodel. It had a very musty smell also. I paid extra for a lake view and they let a huge truck park right in front of our window blocking our view. I had to call a phone number to get any type of service. There never was anyone at the main desk. For $176, it was a very disappointing stay.

Overall the place is fine. Clean and nice being right on the water. The pictures look nicer than actual place- a little run down on the outside. The free breakfast is basically bagels, pop tarts, two to go cereals and coffee. Staff were nice but not very welcoming.

The room we rented at the last minute was an efficiency which helped to prepare lunches etc. Breakfast included was a perk. It was a little outdated, but we paid a resonable price for the good facilities on a lake. Unfortunatly we had loud and obscene group of neighbors. Most people were very pleasent. Luck of the draw, I guess

I really liked our room and the place is beautiful but the only thing I had a problem with was that the bed was not comfortable it had a very obvious area where the springs must of been broken

Wonderful stay here! The room was everything we needed and the location is perfect. Not quite in town, but very close to everything. Bonus that it’s on a lake front property. Would absolutely stay here again!

Centerstone Resort provided a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere with rooms that meet your desired level of relaxation. The rooms that included hot tubs in them were a wonderful addition. The resort is a bit away from getting directly into the lake if you came for the lake experience, although the views of the lake from your room are right there, easily accessible. The nearby local town had several very good restaurant experiences.

The front desk person was super nice and helpful! Came into town for a wedding only to find the original hotel I booked was closed by the sanitation department, so I quickly had to find another option in my price range, she was quick to check me in and gave me just enough time to make it to the wedding!

Very clean room, beautiful setting on lake and in the woods. We were a late check in, so Susie had called earlier in the day to let us know how to check in; she was friendly on the phone. Coffee service as part of the continental breakfast with refrigerated half and half was nice (many places don’t have that for coffee). And the coffee tasted decent, too. Thank you.

I didn't have the breakfast. The first room had a lot of flies, but the office attendant was very nice and moved me to another, clean room immediately, which was much better. The parking area was safe.

The room was out dated but clean. There was a sign at the office that says “7:30 am breakfast on Saturday and Sunday but no one was at the place until past 8:30 am. We check out at 11:00 am as indicated on the website and then again the office was closed. We have to call a number to get someone in. Water heater was not turned on until around 7:30 am. The saving grace is that the view of the lake from the deck was amazing.

Beautiful place right on the lake. Friendly staff and great breakfast. We arrived late at night, they had our keys and instructions taped to the lobby door. We got into our room quickly and safely.

Wonderful stay here! The room was everything we needed and the location is perfect. Not quite in town, but very close to everything. Bonus that it’s on a lake front property. Would absolutely stay here again!

The property was quiet and charming. Considering this was an older facility, it was in great shape and well cared for. Right on the lake with a spectacular view. I would highly recommend staying here.

This picture is far from the truth. It is very run downed. The furniture is very old. The deck needs staining. The breakfast was an absolute joke. We left without eating. First of all, it didn't start until 8am. Secondly, it consisted of hard packaged rolls (like Little Debbie), large bottle of orange juice you had to pour yourself a glass that all shared, no decaf coffee "we were throwing it out so you have to make your own in your room". We don't use coffee makers in rooms as you don't know when they've been cleaned. They also had Nutri-grain bars. There was packages of instant oatmeal but no bowls, no hot water. We mentioned that the hotel was very outdated and the gal told us that there just isn't money in the budget to remodel. It had a very musty smell also. I paid extra for a lake view and they let a huge truck park right in front of our window blocking our view. I had to call a phone number to get any type of service. There never was anyone at the main desk. For $176, it was a very disappointing stay.

We didnt get a chance to enjoy the property because we got here late but from what we see. We like it very much and wouldnt mind staying here again when in the area. The restaurant was down the road was very good and recommended to us by staff. All in all for out short stay it waz excellent.

Overall the place is fine. Clean and nice being right on the water. The pictures look nicer than actual place- a little run down on the outside. The free breakfast is basically bagels, pop tarts, two to go cereals and coffee. Staff were nice but not very welcoming.

The bed in our room was terrible. Sheets were stained with red spots. Breakfast was ok, very basic but the coffee was good.

The owners are not keeping up with the needs of an aging motel. The mattresses need to be replaced, water came out of only one side of the bathroom faucet, the showerhead needed a good cleaning and even the front desk staff discouraged us from breakfast - which was less than minimal. What this motel has going for it is the location. I could spend hours looking at Lake Nokomis.

The owners are not keeping up with the needs of an aging motel. The mattresses need to be replaced, water came out of only one side of the bathroom faucet, the showerhead needed a good cleaning and even the front desk staff discouraged us from breakfast - which was less than minimal. What this motel has going for it is the location. I could spend hours looking at Lake Nokomis.

Average. No bar or restaurant but a continental breakfast. Also room had a kitchenette if you planed ahead. No ice machine. Outside was a little run down.

The room was clean and spacious. It did have a faint musty odor but that’s what you get when you’re near water. We had a hot tub room and the tub was large. The bed was comfortable. There is no ice machine on the property. The curtains were very good at blocking light. The breakfast was not a hot breakfast and there weren’t a lot of options for someone who is gluten free. We would stay again easily.

Very clean room, beautiful setting on lake and in the woods. We were a late check in, so Susie had called earlier in the day to let us know how to check in; she was friendly on the phone. Coffee service as part of the continental breakfast with refrigerated half and half was nice (many places don’t have that for coffee). And the coffee tasted decent, too. Thank you.

Beautiful place right on the lake. Friendly staff and great breakfast. We arrived late at night, they had our keys and instructions taped to the lobby door. We got into our room quickly and safely.

The high number of stars for this hotel must be due to the location. And what a location it is! A beautiful deck overlooking Lake Nokomis, a fire pit, and beach along the shore. Absolutely beautiful. However, the rooms themselves were fairly old and tired, although perfectly adequate. The bedspreads were frayed, the mattresses - though comfortable - sagged, and the toilets were so close to the floor that my 80-something mother had a hard time using it. There were also a lot of cracked tiles in the bathroom. But all in all it was a great place to stay and to be right on the lake was idyllic.

A nice hotel on a huge lake, not far from Tomahawk and Minocqua. Great place for a family gathering, with fire pits and game areas near the shore. No frills breakfast, comfortable beds and clean rooms.

First time staying at the report. The room were large and very clean; the size of the beds was much larger than your typical hotel room and we had a wonderful view of the lake. Was the perfect accommodation for the activities we had planned for the weekend. Would stay again next time we are in the area.
