The room could have used an update. It looked bland and had an unusual odor. The bathroom could particularly use an update. The toilet was stained, even on the outside. A real turnoff was when I found a small black bug crawling on the bathroom floor. The heat and air system worked well. The free breakfast was a real positive and included scrambled eggs, cereal, waffles, fruit, juice, biscuits and gravy. Very tasty. The indoor pool was beautiful and the deck area and room itself was large and inviting. The hotel could easily be upgraded.

Beds were terrible. Upkeep was poor. Was dirty and the staff was not helpful. They didn’t share accommodations at check in or answer questions thoroughly. Pool was poorly maintained and cleaned. We couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

The room was covered in dog hair including the bed and all surfaces. The front desk person had to remake the bed with new linens. I requested lysol wipes to clean the surfaces from hair and received a dirty rag and spray. After all that, I discovered a disturbing red stain on rug. I reported it as a response on the welcome text. I received a response that I would hear something soon. Never did. The next day I received a survey, rated low. Received response that I would be contacted. Never did. Mildew in bathroom, bad smell, key cards randomly stopped working. Poor experience.

The facilities were clean, but obviously aged and in need of upgrades. Lots of scars and stains on the fixtures and finishes. The staff was polite and efficient. The area was quiet (and backs up to a Cracker Barrel), but near plenty of convenience stores, restaurants, and the interstate. The free breakfast was absolutely not worth eating. There was a decent variety but the quality left a lot to be desired.
