Helpful staff, quick and late check in

The shower drain strainer was moldy and not attached to the floor. It was gross and not useable. We are going to have to find another hotel in the area to stay. The breakfast buffet had kids putting their nasty fingers in everything and then licking their fingers. Another gross thing. Yes I know that is not your fault but the parents. It is still GROSS

I stayed there on May 8 because I was heading to North Carolina for family trip. The staff was wonderful my room was nice and clean. My family and I were pleased. When I stay at the Courtyard Marriott on May 13th it was not so great we had to change our room 3 times because are TV was not working in two of the rooms we were given. The 3 room we were put in to TV was working properly. A side from that the door hinges to lock on the door was broken and only the door locked worked. Other than the TVs not working we had a nice time and enjoyed the free breakfast in the morning.

We had a disappointing stay at this hotel. Check-in was not smooth, and the first room we were assigned was unacceptable—dirty and had a strong odor similar to dog urine. We requested a room change, which was accommodated, but the second room was still not properly cleaned to an acceptable standard. At that point, we decided to make the best of the situation rather than continue moving rooms. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations for cleanliness or basic comfort. We will not be returning.

Overall good experience. The property itself hasn’t been well maintained over the years, but it was clean and inviting. The staff were friendly & the breakfast perfect to start the day with the kids.
