Hotel Dann Carlton Belfort Medellin

2nd time here. First time last year was great, booked a luxury suite on top floor amazing view. Rebooked the same for recent trip but the suite had a completely obstructed view in both the living room and bedroom due to outside construction on the building; and the room didn’t appear to be properly prepared for a new arrival. I immediately returned to the front desk reporting the situation but no other luxury suites would be available till the next day. Sadly we didn’t even unpack or try to get comfortable knowing we’d be moving the next day. When we did move the following day, this is when we realized the first room they gave us hadn’t been properly set up and missing most amenities. I asked the front desk for a partial credit of the 1st night only and ended up with a cheese tray and bottle of champagne on our last night after a long day in town and already eaten, nice gesture for our trouble but not compensation. The gym is run down and equipment is in need of repair and also not accessible for anyone with mobility issues. Breakfast still good and staff in the restaurant were lovely. I doubt we’ll return which is sad since we had looked forward to this trip very much.

Hotel viejo, habitaciones nunca me arreglaron el sofacama solo la cama principal. Desayuno regular.

Good room except for the fact that was a little dated. Our sofa seem dirty with stains.Breakfast was good. The name of hotel is similar to another hotel and it causes confusion with taxis and Hubers. Heads up!!
