Pearl Continental Hotel, Karachi

There are only 2 things left in pc hotel karachi: 1. Breakfast 2. Service from staff Everything else is 3.5 * Property needs a major update. The washrooms are from the 19th century. They need to ensure that their key cards actually work so the people doesnt have to issue key cards every other day. They need to update the gym facilities where they have only 1 working elliptical machine. Gym area is extremely small.

Hotel used as a base for work locally safe and secure

It was very pleasant staying at PC Karachi, staffs was very efficient and friendly, gentleman at reception Mr Imran was very polite and friendly. Room was very clean and staff did cleaning every day, gym was very nice and well maintained, nothing to shout. Breakfast multiple options and enjoyed with delicious meals. We had dinner at Chandni restaurant and didn’t like the food, we were expecting typical Pakistani cuisine with taste and flavour but unfortunately food let down by lack of taste and variety although staffs was very polite and friendly.

The hotel shows a bit of age but is well-maintained and comfortable. The breakfast spread was excellent, offering both local and continental choices that were fresh and delicious. The Executive Lounge was a great addition — with a nice selection of small bites, snacks, and drinks throughout the day. The staff were friendly ( I will mention Abdel from breakfast service area) and attentive across all areas, making the stay even more pleasant. The location is also fantastic, close to everything you’d want to explore. Overall, a wonderful stay and great value for the experience.

Supremely quiet rooms, room cleaning that could not be bettered and friendly and efficient staff. Breakfast was a treat every day and do stay on the executive floors for access to the lounge which is perfect for a snack.

Staff is friendly and courteous. Airport back and drop shuttle is very convenient, please don’t forget to tip them well. Downside: the mattress was hard as rock and the constant vehicle noise and siren from the vip motorcade is a nuisance.

I had the opportunity to stay in PC karachi multiple times, love the staff, services, location, cleanliness, dinning quality and facilities options. Once you stay you will come for comfortable safe stays.

This property is desperately in need of an upgrade. The room was tired. The bathtub was stained. The towels provided were worn from overuse and smelly. At about $140 per grossly overpriced. The so called “business center” was a shabby table in a corner of a conference room with a bunch of papers strewn on it. No printer was available!

Everything was excellent , except the corridors leading to the rooms - there was a damp smell - 5th floor

Hotel smells. Room are probably a health hazard as they smell of mold.

Rooms are not cleaned properly. Mattresses are hard as rock. Specially at 2nd floor and 3rd floor. Dont know others. Housekeeping staff are all men who dont know how to clean. They dont even use air freshner or wipe mirrors and surfaces. They need to fire housekeeping and upgrade rooms or be marked as 2 star hotel.

I asked for non smoking room first toom they gave me it has a stong smell of cigarettes they chang my room the second room had smell of mold third room hd the mold smell but very light so i stayed in that room breakfast was good

Bath tub was very dirty and one water bottle was given as complimentary there was nothing in the fridge no mini bar.

The entire building is poorly air conditioned. initially assigned room 712 but the room hot, with a wet carpet smell. They changed me to room 720 but that too was hot. I asked reception to send over a maintenance team which took an hour to arrive. These folks were more interested in convincing me that the AC was working properly than fixing it. After a bit of back and forth, they agreed to bring a thermostat to check the temp of the air coming out of the unit. It was set at 16C on the unit, and the air temp was recorded at 23C. These folks then tried to convince me that the unit is working perfectly and tried to leave. I insisted they service it. 30 mins later, they said its now all fixed and that they were leaving. I asked if they will check the temp again but they said to wait half an hour, and call reception again if things weren't right. 30 mins passed with the room still being quite stuffy and warm, so I went to reception, and asked for another repair team. I waited another 30 mins (no one came), so I again went down to reception, and the gentleman at the desk immediately said that my room needs to be changed again. I asked him why, and he said that the original repair team said the AC was broken and can't be fixed that night. I told him that they didn't need to lie to me and gaslight me this way when they knew early on that its broken. Anyhow changed rooms again to 909, marginally better, so made my peace with it. TLDR:Avoid PC in summers. Go to Marriott instead.

Was a one week stay to visit family and attend family functions. Was thus a convenient stay with friendly staff. Rooms are however a bit dated as well as the bathrooms,

No toleyry stuff when I checked in No air conditioning Need to call agai and again Deteriorating standard despite charging the same

Clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows. I found my room noisy at night from traffic and sirens because it faced the street. If the clerk who checked me in had been more astute about my quiet room request I would have enjoyed better sleeps. Well maintained common areas and lobby spaces.

The hotel is at least several decades old. Needs furniture and bathroom updates.

Rundown property. Require lots of renovation. Claim 5 star but it’s not even 2 star.

The staff was absolutely wonderful! They went out of their way to make sure they accomodate our needs and made our stay pleasant. Will def be staying there again. The cleaning crew is AMAZING! The staff is so friendly. Highly reccomend this hotel!

Overall it was a pleasant stay; only problem keep getting room lock key deactivating or not working properly.

Exceeded my expectations!! My family and I stayed at PC for 11 to 12 days, from Feb. 11, 2023. It was my wedding on the 18th and we had a lot of guests booked in different rooms, The Hotel is very clean, has good sized rooms and staff are very friendly and go above and beyond to make your stay more enjoyable. Special thanks to the following individuals for making our wedding trip memorable: Food & Beverages - Mr. Javed, Mr. Noor and Mr. Saleem, including their team at the Marco Polo restaurant for their exceptional service. Baker’s Boutique/Bakery - Special thanks to Chef Shoaib Ikram for making our wedding cake on very short notice. Cake exceeded our expectations and everyone was very happy. House keeping - Sheroz and Harrison for always keeping out rooms clean and well maintained. Mr. Muhammad Kashan from Front Office for all his help. We had lots of guests with different arrival and departure dates and times. Mr. Kashan liaised with the airport pick up team to ensure all our guests were picked up and dropped off on time. He is very helpful and friendly. Mr. Shamshad Alam from the airport pick up team for ensuring that all our guests were picked up and dropped off on time. He was very friendly in all his interactions with my guests. Saba from Guests Relations for arranging for last minute room bookings and taking care of all room decorations. Mr. Aarej from Executive Desk for facilitated all permissions for our wedding shoot at the hotel.

Excellent hotel with clean rooms. Staff members are all exceptionally polite and helpful at all times. Will definitely come back to this excellent hotel if visits Karachi.

The welcoming of the staff has been professional and courteous. Mudassir and Osama upgraded my stay to an Executive floor. The room is impeccable with fresh flowers waiting at my arrival.

I waited approximately about 45 minutes to check in because apparently they couldn't confirm if i paid for it even though on expedia receipt it showed as paid, showed them and they stated they dont belive it. The standard of the property is way lower than how it is shown

I went there for two weeks in April 2023, and while the property and decor are dated, the service and meals are genuinely top class. We slept in a twin deli room, which was properly cleaned every day and smelled wonderful. The in-room eating was great and timely; depending on the size of the meal, they would bring a table or tray. To be honest, the employees at Karachi PC are genuinely exceptional in their service and really keep things going efficiently, making your stay cool, well fed, and clean, which is much needed after a hot and hectic day in Karachi.

I had an outstanding experience during my stay. The property is well-maintained, clean, and offers some of the best dining options available. A special mention goes to Miss Rubial, whose service truly stood out. She is incredibly polite, professional, and attentive. She communicates with customers in such a respectful and pleasant manner, takes the time to understand their needs, and ensures everything is taken care of accordingly. Her dedication to excellent customer service made my stay truly memorable. I would confidently rate Miss Rubial 10/10 for her exceptional service, and the property 10/10 for its quality and overall experience. Thank you, Miss Rubial, for making my stay so special!

The room was not bad but the overall ambience of the hotel is terrible. Other PCs are way better The staff at check-in were not helpful at all and had no interest in helping me. Would not stay here again!

Really enjoyed my 2 nights stay, property was clean and staff were very friendly. The breakfast was amazing with many options to choose from and ample seating available. Will defo recommend!

My premium room in the executive floor was average. Do not expect luxury here. The room was clean but the bedroom window looked like it was never cleaned since the hotel was built. In room instant coffee was not approachable. As I westerner, I found the food quite spicy. I did not touch the salads or fruit, brushed my teeth with bottled water, but stilled ended up with food poising. The hotel responded well to my food poising, but stopped understanding English when I asked about the source.

Staff was outstanding and food was excellent. Workout area and pool well kept. Mosque on site.

Always a pleasure to stay at Pearl Continental Karachi, from the comfort of the rooms to the excellent breakfast, my definite go to hotel for whenever I’m in Karachi. Never disappoints.

Over all this was a bad time to go during non stop rain shower and flood warnings, property is decent size but no where close to bhurban, roof was leaking non stop because of heavy rains, food was really good specially chanoni or chandni whatever is the name located at 10th floor. Over all it was a nice experience just at a bad time.

Hotel is one of the oldest in the city and it shows. Staff is very good and the breakfast is great.dont rent a car from the hotel untill and unless you must. It is expensive for Pakistan
