Truntum Padang

good

Rooms are much larger than almost all the hotels we've stayed in Padang city in the same price range. The hotel building is really large and bright.The breakfast selection is good overall. Location is strategic to the places we frequent including the waterfront, Transmart, etc. The downside is the pillows and linens like towels are pathetically old. They should have been replaced years ago. The key cards did not work with the lifts so caused lots of downtime till the hotel decided to disable them.

有點老舊

I booked based on excellent rating on Hotels.com, those must be fake reviews, the hotel is old, dated, dirty, uncomfortable. There is no bar as listed on Hotels.com. Food is terrible in the huge empty “restaurant”. I checked out two days early even with non-refundable booking and went to the much much better ZHM and Mercure
