Stopped off in Laon on a trip to Switzerland. The hotel is located in the middle of town right next to the cathedral with an attractive square in front. A lovely stay with a very nice meal on the terrace in the evening. A very nice breakfast personally served. We parked in a public car park a 5 minute walk away.

A stopover in the heart of the ancient town of Laon. Beautiful location in the old square facing the magnificent cathedral. Charming and friendly staff welcomed us and explained parking which was locked and a short walk. Able to unload outside Logis. Room charming and very comfortable while keeping it quaintness. Very nice restaurant and had delicious dinner and breakfast

Comfortable room with view of cathedral. Beware the water be way system of the town centre - ignore your sat nav when you reach the top of the hill and use a map. Good restaurant. Excellent flamiche and carbonade.

Beautiful situation overlooking the square and cathedral. Luckily the bells were silent during the night. Managed to park on the street (Blue Disk during the day) but hotel par was not offered. We enjoyed eating at the restaurant on the square; god food at a reasonable price.

Overnight stay on way home. Couldn’t park outside as it’s in a pedestrianised square overlooking the cathedral but there was a road running alongside where you could leave your car to unload your luggage. We parked in the gated secure car park which was a few minutes away. Room was small but fixtures were of a high standard and lovely view of cathedral.

Excellent location opposite cathedral with very good restaurant.Despite description that parking and EV are available. Parking is on street and limited and thete is no EV charging point. Nearest one is at car park anout half a mile away and uou need to fownload app to use it.

Due to building works in front of the property (planned until June), the access to the hotel was through a narrow passage way. The entrance smelt of damp. There was no safe parking for our car as indicated in the listing. There was no reception on arrival and we had to phone the owner to come and let us in. Despite the building works, which is beyond the control of the hotel, no attempt was made to welcome the guests or alert us to the situation. The current major building works should have been noted on the listing.

Good stay for a weekend break. Very clean and nicely done bathroom in keeping with the historic setting. The room decor could use a bit of a lift, but overall quite comfortable. If you look around the area a bit, you should be able to find free street parking. When the construction is done in the square, it will be a very nice setting for dining outside the hotel.

If you want a place to stay that is clean but very basic, Logis du Parvis is perfect for you. It is directly across a piazza from the beautiful cathedral, so location is great. The room we had was very basic. It was on the first floor which is actually the second floor of the building. Please note, there is no elevator and quite a few steps. The shower does not have a curtain or door so you basically flood the bathroom when you shower. On the plus side, the owner or manager ( not sure which he is) is very nice, there are a few restaurants right by the hotel and there’s a little train that leaves right outside the hotel that tours the walled town. It’s worth it to take the train although it is very bumpy on the stone streets and the prerecorded guide was poor quality so very difficult to hear. However, it did give you a good look at the town which is in remarkably well preserved. If you’re looking for a place to buy fancy items, this isn’t the place to go. So if you’re looking for a less tourist historic spot and a place to stay that is not expensive but clean, I would recommend Logis du Parvis.

Mais accueil plutôt froid, douche sans pression, odeur d’humidité probablement due à la moquette, moisissures dans l’eau de la cafetière … Check out a 10h15 alors qu’indiqué a 10h30 … Attention ils prélèvent la taxe de séjour pour les enfants même mineurs ce qui n’est pas légal !

We've stayed at Logis du Parvis many times over the years. The owners are wonderful and the location couldn't be more perfect. We typically book the 2-BR apartment, which has a great kitchen and sitting area. Both bedrooms are incredibly spacious. Everything is always clean and welcoming. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Laon.

Lovely location, facing the cathedral. My room was clean, comfortable and with a great view. Breakfast was good, with bread, cheese, small croissant and pane ou chocolat. Juice and coffee. Perfect location in a fabulous town.

Malheureusement j'ai été dans cette hôtel il faisait 36 degrés dehors. Mais dans la chambre.... encore plus chaud...pas de clim...ce fut très désagréable....les fenêtres ne s'ouvrent pas entièrement... même là nuit aucune fraîcheur.. Dommage les employés sont très agréables.
Malheureusement j'ai été dans cette hôtel il faisait 36 degrés dehors. Mais dans la chambre.... encore plus chaud...pas de clim...ce fut très désagréable....les fenêtres ne s'ouvrent pas entièrement... même là nuit aucune fraîcheur.. Dommage les employés sont très agréables.

The location of this hotel couldn't be better and the staff and breakfast were great. However, the room was very ordinary--comfortable but basic and definitely not 4-star. Suggestions: 1 take the blinds off the window so you can open it all the way to appreciate the amazing view; 2 get a shower curtain so you don't get a dangerously slippery bathroom floor every time you take a shower. You could hear noise from the street and other rooms, but it is a quiet area so this wasn't a concern during our visit.

Fabulous stay in the heart of Laon We enjoyed our overnight stay here in a family apartment that was huge and so comfortable and perfect for our family. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant that offered the best view of the impressive cathedral. The team were brilliant! Thank you

Fantastic hotel in a great location being right in the middle of a medieval town. Not far from the motorway network should you require a stopover, but also a great place to have a short luxury break at reasonable costs. I would describe the double room we stayed in as Five Star with a Three Star price. Wonderful welcome on arrival and excellent restaurant at the hotel.

Fantastic view of the cathedrale. Pleasant and helpful staff (spotted that our child had left toy and rang us straight away to allow us to collect...thanks). Good meal in restaurant. Well appointed apartment.

Due to building works in front of the property (planned until June), the access to the hotel was through a narrow passage way. The entrance smelt of damp. There was no safe parking for our car as indicated in the listing. There was no reception on arrival and we had to phone the owner to come and let us in. Despite the building works, which is beyond the control of the hotel, no attempt was made to welcome the guests or alert us to the situation. The current major building works should have been noted on the listing.

Fabulous stay in the heart of Laon We enjoyed our overnight stay here in a family apartment that was huge and so comfortable and perfect for our family. We enjoyed dinner in the restaurant that offered the best view of the impressive cathedral. The team were brilliant! Thank you

Stopped off in Laon on a trip to Switzerland. The hotel is located in the middle of town right next to the cathedral with an attractive square in front. A lovely stay with a very nice meal on the terrace in the evening. A very nice breakfast personally served. We parked in a public car park a 5 minute walk away.

Perfect location. Obviously the Cathedral is right there, but is also walking distance from all the quaint areas. Restaurant below is also quite good. Building is old but isn't outdated. Some advice, don't go to Laon on Mon-Tue. The town pretty much shuts down and there's not much to do.

Logos du Paris is in a beautiful location opposite the Cathedral. They have a restaurant where we dined, thankfully it was open on Sunday evening as many restaurants in this region are not. Delicious food with excellent and friendly service. We would definitely return to explore this beautiful town.

Overnight stay on way home. Couldn’t park outside as it’s in a pedestrianised square overlooking the cathedral but there was a road running alongside where you could leave your car to unload your luggage. We parked in the gated secure car park which was a few minutes away. Room was small but fixtures were of a high standard and lovely view of cathedral.

Lovely spacious apartment with fantastic view of the cathedral opposite. Very comfortable and clean. Arrived late but welcomed and given a delicious dinner. Service very attentive and proficient. Will look forward to another stay.

The room was spacious with a decent coffee machine and a nice modern bathroom. The carpet was a bit grubby and the furniture dated but the bed was comfy. The room has a wonderful view of the cathedral but you can’t fully open the windows due to the fact they have fitted blinds that restrict movement of the window. We were there 2 very hot nights and the room has no air conditioning and as the windows don’t fully open it was really uncomfortable and we got very little sleep. They charged us an extra 16 euro for the room and when I showed them the receipt on hotels.com they were uninterested and quite rude. It wasn’t tax it was just a higher room charge and whilst it might be a booking site issue the dismissive, aggressive approach wasn’t needed. To be honest they weren’t over friendly in general even when you ate in the restaurant which is good but over priced.

This was a truly special experience, to stay right on the square, opposite the incredible cathedral, in the centre of the stunning and very peaceful hilltop town of Laon. We were lucky enough to visit during the summer light show and watched it from our balcony. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the apartment was amazing - huge and really well equipped and comfortable. Brilliant to have the local parking, which is in a spacious, gated outdoor area not far from the hotel (we were a bit worried about parking, and it turned out we needn't have been at all). Highly recommend the breakfast, and the restaurant for dinner, which was also amazing!

It’s an average room and n an amazing situation. Staff were obliging and the restaurant a classic French Bistro. Couldn’t fault the food given that it was Bistrot food. Only nightmare was the parking. There is a public car park which is free about 400m away. If you drop your stuff off before parking it’s fine. If you choose to do it later it’s a 5 minute drive with the one way system. In any case a delightful town and good value accommodation

Beautifully positioned in the old town. It's the first time we have had a full on view of a cathedral out of the hotel room, just lovely and lit up at night!! Its really a restaurant with rooms rather than a hotel which works really well. The rooms are lovely and the restaurant excellent. No parking on site but plenty of free 'on-street' parking nearby. All in all a nice experience.
