Leopold Hotel Ostend

Over het algemeen aan aangename accommodatie. Al zijn er wat dingetjes aan een update of herstel toe (vb. douchekop in onze badkamer). De lift is tergend traag. Goed dat er wordt aangemoedigd om de trap te nemen. Al is dat voor een deel van de hotelgasten een no go met hun bagage. Het ontzettend vriendelijke, efficiënte en behulpzame personeel maakt achter veel goed!

Could have done with a chair. 24 hour combined excellent bar and reception was a bonus.

Enige nadeel lift was traag en heel klein maar als je goed ter been bent dan is de trap prima alternatief

Over night travelling onward to Netherlands with family. Lovely hotel only draw back for us was unable to get hotel parking as it’s on first come bases and not bookable. Hotel is in a good location for beach and shopping

Hotellets placering er perfekt i forhold til strand og by. Ang miljø undrer det mig der blev skiftet håndklæder hver dag, selvom om ikke bad om det. Elevatoren var meget lille og meget langsom, så upraktisk, da den også blev brugt til housekeeping mm. Dejligt vi kunne tilkøbe parkering som var tæt på, men der var ingen belysning i parkeringshuset, så meget utrygt, når man skulle ud og ind af parkeringshuset.

Heel net hotel, op loopafstand van het centrum van Oostende. Enige min punt is de lift, duurt lang en je past er max. met 3 personen en baggage in.

Nice hotel in a good location, approx 3-5 mins walk to the beach. Clean, comfortable beds and appears to have been recently renovated. However, as others have said, this hotel is advertised as having parking facilities and was the reason I chose it over others. As another reviewer has stated, the hotel only has 9 guest spaces and I had to leave my car in an underground car park at €25 a night. I would stay here again but a little honesty is needed with the description of the parking facilities.

Das Leopold ist ein hübsches Hotel in 2. Reihe zur Strandpromenade mit freundlichem, unkomplizierten Personal Die Bar sieht sehr einladend und gemütlich aus und auch der offene Frühstücksbereich ist ist sehr schön gestaltet Im ganzen Hotel hängen schöne Bilder, die mich persönlich an Tim und Struppi Comic's erinnert haben, teilweise waren die Zeichnungen direkt auf die Wände gemalt Wir waren zu dritt auf einem Zimmer, wovon das Einzelbett in einem seperaten Bereich mit Schiebetüre stand. Was mir noch wichtig ist, das Leopold scheint auch Rollstuhl gerecht zu sein, da ich im Frühstücksbereich gleich 3 Rollifahrer gesehen habe Mein nächster Besuch in Oostende, definitiv wieder mit Zimmer im Leopold!!!

Hôtel Léopold parfait. Chambre très bien agencée, propre, ménage tous les jours et petit déjeuner exceptionnel, le prix est un peu élevé mais il en vaut la peine.

Die Sauberkeit in diesem Hotel ist sehr schlecht. Die Zimmer und auch das Badezimmer waren bei unserer Ankunft sehr schlecht gereinigt. Wir fanden in den Kleiderregalen noch eine Socke unseres Vormieters.

héél vriendelijk personeel. Ontbijt is uitgebreid (buffetvorm, maar er ligt heel veel). Je krijgt er oordopjes, zogezegd omdat het al een iets ouder gebouw is, en het wat kan kraken, maar het was stil. Heel goed geslapen. Bed was goed, en ook het hoofdkussen. (je krijgt een zachter en een harder, aan jou om te kiezen welk je gebruikt) De kamer zelf is een beetje oubollig, maar om te slapen en te ontbijten is dat allemaal meer dan voldoende. Alles was ook proper.

The hotel didn't live up to our expectations. There was mold in one of the corners of our room. We were offered a another room, but it was much smaller. They never did anything to clean out the mold. The AC unit was straight above the bed, so it couldn't really be used at night. The diameter of the frying pan was larger than the diameter of the kitchen sink. All in all, the room could use a facelift to live up to the fancy descriptions of "art deco"

Eerste indruk was mooi groot hotel. Wel beetje verouderd. Oude lift, in de kamers lag er tapijt, hier en daar beschadigde plintjes, de douche ook wat verouderd. En onder het bed, lag nog een neusdoek. Ligging prima! Personeel heel vriendelijk. Ontbijt was voor ons niet van toepassing

Sehr nette Bedienstete. Das Zimmer war immer sehr gepflegt. Sehr gutes Ambiente. Gutes Frühstücksbuffet.

onze kamer 207 was te klein, en het bed stond met de zijkant tegen de muur: heel lastig als je je gsm moet opnemen (geen stopcontact aan die kant van het bed) of naar het toilet moet gaan

J'ai choisi la chambre avec Sauna privatif. Elle est au dernier étage, sous les toits, mansardée. Une très belle et grande chambre, très joliment décorée. La clim fonctionne très bien, mais elle n'est presque pas utile. Bien qu'en période de fortes chaleurs, j'ai laissé les 2 fenetres ouvertes en permanence et pour autant je n'avais pas de chaleur à entrer. Sauna privatif avec douche immédiate au pied, c'est parfait pour une détox et purification du corps. Le seul bémol est la salle de bain : pas jolie ! La chambre est très chaleureuse, le sauna rend cette chambre encore plus agréable, et là c'est la mauvaise note, vous avez une salle de bain vieillotte et triste, avec ses petits carreaux blancs datant du siècle dernier. Autre petit bémol : des cheveux un peu partout dans la salle de bain à mon arrivée. Le reste de l'hotel : j'aime beaucoup. Vous avez un étage intermédiaire qui surplombe le rez de chaussée, c'est un lieu très agréable pour lire ou écrire, surtout tard dans la nuit, avec possibilité de brancher votre ordinateur. Le bar est tout aussi agréable pour travailler ou se reposer. Avec une personne à l'accueil toute la nuit, vous pouvez profiter de boissons froides ou chaudes à tout instant. Un billard est également à votre disposition. Vous êtes à 3 minutes à pied de la plage d'Ostende, secteur du Casino. A 3 minutes aussi d'un quartier avec tout plein de restaurants et bars, quartier nocturne. J'adore cet hotel...

Ligging is prima, kamer leek totaal niét op de foto's die ons deden besluiten te boeken. Douchecabine in de kamer met doorzichtige glazen deur aan voeteneinde bed, geen enkele privacy. Wastafel naast hoofdeinde van het bed. Algemene staat hotelkamer goed, bedden comfortabel. Foto's misleidend. Medewerker frontoffice niet gastvrij. Koffers kan je achterlaten in opslag, men weigert een afhaalbonnetje te verstrekken. Hopelijk neemt niemand anders je koffer mee, we mochten zelf koffers pakken zonder aan te tonen dat die van ons waren. Volgende keer geen Leopold meer boor ons.

Spacious family room

Uniek vanwege afstand tot strand en centrum . Toilet spoelde niet alles goed weg. Openen en sluiten raam gaat moeizaam. Verder heel fijn hotel, tot ziens!

Overall a rather good experience in this small but practical room. However, one of the sockets next to the bed was not working, the shower head holder was loose (meaning that the water was directed to the wall rather than to our body, which makes it more difficult to shower) and the sink was either completely blocked OR we didn't manage to open the sink stopper. Also not suitable for light sleepers as you can hear people talking in the room next door (one pair of ear plugs was provided in the room). Coffee, tea and two bottle of waters were provided in the room.

We had the family room, it was great because the 2 single beds were in a room that had its own door, while being within our room itself. This is great when you have young children who go to bed much earlier than the adults.

Breakfast was nice. The lady at reception was very uptight and rude at times but overall was great.

1 staflid was zeer onvriendelijk. Babybedje gevraagd, 3 maand op voorhand bij de boeking zelf. De dag van het verblijf lieten ze doodleuk weten dat dit niet in onze kamer paste. Mits 30eu bij te betalen konden we een grotere kamer krijgen waar het wel zou passen. Deze info stond nergens tussen de boekingsinfo. Ook veel te laat om zoiets te laten weten. Daarbij komt dan nog eens haar heel onvriendelijke reactie. Zoiets kan echt niet

The Staff were very friendly & very helpful throughout our 4 day stay. A perfect hotel right in the middle of everything 150 yards in any direction, the 7 kilometre beech was fantastic. A great 4 day break, with the help of the hotel staff. Thank you All.

Small rooms, Extremely rude staff members who went off limits screaming, insulting a single mother with 3 young children, who nicely explained that instead of 5 nights, will be only staying for one night. Had full refunds from Expedia! The hotel itself is the worst choice you may fall on. We went to the Hotel Bero, Great and big rooms, free daily breakfast, the hotel has a Spa and a beautiful swimming pool.

Staff super helpful. Breakfast great buffet selection including scrambled egg and bacon. Room 107 was a nicely sized double bedroom with great sized flat screen tv with multiple English channels (not just news channels). In room Tea and coffee facilities via a kettle and nespresso type machine. Comfy bed. Fair bathroom with a shower that was powerful enough (sadly lacks in a lot of hotels but this didn’t). There a communal area and coffee shop in reception and a back room that has a free to play pool table (I think it was free as it was the convertible dining room type table) For our one night hotel was perfect the only big bear for me is not being able to turn the room temperature down to 18 - I could set the thermostat but it wouldn’t actually come on to cool. I guess it is set to winter mode and again another big issue for me as I like a cooler room. However I would recommend this hotel if you are staying in Oostende.

Sehr schönes Hotel in Strandnähe. Personal sehr freundlich. Wir hatten ein sehr geräumiges Zimmer mit einer kleinen Küche, was sehr toll war. Wenn es überhaupt etwas negatives gibt dann vielleicht die Parkgarage in dem das Hotel Plätze hat. Es ist sehr dunkel dort und alleine als Frau nicht empfehlenswert. Trotzdem ein schöner Aufenthalt, nur parken würden wir das nächste Mal woanders.

Das Hotel Leopold ist zentral gelegen, es befindet sich nur wenige 100 Meter vom Strand und vom Zentrum. Auch der Bahnhof ist nur ca. 15 Minuten entfernt. Das Personal war wahnsinnig aufmerksam und die Gestaltung des Hotels ist über alle Maßen liebevoll. Es wird sehr auf Details und Annehmlichkeiten geachtet. Es beginnt IT der Gestaltung des Frühstücksraum gegenüber der Rezeption und zieht sich bis in die Zimmer hoch. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichlich, da findet sich für jeden etwas. Zudem stehen kleine Aufmerksamkeiten wie Obst, ein Getränk oder kleine süße Häppchen zur freien Verfügung bereit. Alles in allem haben wir die zwei Nächte im Hotel Leopold sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder, wenn es bei Dir sich ergibt.

23 euro for morgenmad er i den dyre ende. Der var alt på morgenbordet og lækkert, men når man sjældent er særlig sulten om morgenen, burde der være et billigere alternativ

The room was very clean. A bit on the small side, but manageable. The heating system was difficult to use and seemed to keep resetting to 23C from our desired 18C, and the fan in the WC did not work. Staff, bistro and morning breakfast was very good! Would come back again!
