Monte Carlo Inn Brampton

Room is pretty good. Check in went well. Staff were responsive. Cleanliness top notch. TV was new and wifi is decent. Bathroom is very clean and equipped with all thats needed. The issues were: 1) Firstly, the vending machines had water bottle option, but its empty. We tried multiple floors and it was empty everywhere. So we filled our bottle from a pot near the reception. We somehow managed. 2) Another reason we selected this hotel because it says the booking comes with continental breakfast. But, i can only see oatmeal, juice, cereal, mixed fruits (which was almost empty) and bread (which was almost empty). There was only one toaster and there was a huge line up. No Eggs, No Meat, and no potatoes. Seems like, all these are not included and have to be ordered seperately. I mean its a 3 star hotel. Please mention this during the booking. We skipped the breakfast at hotel and went outside for food. Other than these, if we are talking about the room, its very nice. But overall the stay was average.

Staff was pleasant. Breakfast cafe staff was very accommodating. Beds comfy. Gym had old machines and lacked weights. Otherwise, nice stay.

Convenient location with plenty of parking

Everything is nice , big renovations are going on and the gym was closed for the day, everything else was perfect for me, Walmart and Tim Hortons are one minute away, walking distance, too many restaurants in the area, I like this location, it is very convenient

Stayed in the corner room with the Jacuzzi, however the jets were not working. The room was nice and big though. Only real complaint is there are no blackout blinds on the Windows and because it's a corner room there are a lot of big windows

Better gym

Large, clean room, good maid service to replace towels, tissues etc and make the bed. Well priced, excellent continental breakfast included. 24 hour reception with helpful staff. Couple of computers, I needed one to create and print some documentation

When I arrived the staff were rude and barely looked up to welcome me - there was nothing in the self-serve machines, no snacks, no drinks, they were empty - I had to go across the street to another hotel to collect some items. I asked for a small bottle of water, and all they offered was a tiny dixie cup to draw water from a container. awful.

It was okay, the elevator wasn’t working, make it difficult to go out

Our room was not cleaned properly. Hair and dirt in the bathroom corners. Our sheets had significant stains on them. When we asked for our bedding to be changed we were told that housekeeping had gone home so we had to change the sheets ourselves. We were given 3 flat sheets. When we stripped the bedding we found pee stains on the mattress protector. The guest services woman even looked grossed out she offered us a hot breakfast as compensation which we just found insulting at 9:30pm. We will never stay here again.

The room smelled awful and we were offered another room which smelled even worse.. Carpet was dirty, some black mold on ceiling in bathroom, would not recommend or stay here again

The room was smelly the carpet had a lot of stains the tub had a huge stain spot the fan in the wash room was filled with dust the ceiling in the bathroom had strands of hairs as if because it was constantly sweating they used the mop to dry the ceiling the skirting had coffee stains .Although it might be considered a low budget hotel cleanliness goes a long way and can be quite inexpensive.

The staff was really nice. The hotel restaurant I felt was a little overpriced - the bed was comfortable in my room, but there were sections of the bathroom that were really dirty and there was hair in my shower and on my bed, I don’t have any hair so when I mentioned it to the front desk - I expected at least an apology but I did not get one. The stay was mediocre at best..

Room was very clean and nice

The room was not really clean. Found a bunch of hair on the bedding. They gave another room and i still found hair on the bedding. The staff replaced the bedding. And i swear i found more hair on it. The sheets looked old and not really clean. We had to use towels on the pillows so we can sleep. it was too late to leave and to find another hotel and we were exhausted from a trip so we had to spend the night. The staff was nice tbh. The hotel in general was not really clean, it had a stingy smell everywhere you go. I don't recommend it for their price. I. Had to cancel my second night. Thanks to Expedia for helping with that.

I always check under the mattress for bed bugs or other surprises. Although there were none, the filth and stains between the mattress and the box spring were disgusting. The room smelled musty, and there was a noticeable buildup of grime on items like the charging ports on the lamps, the lamps themselves, light switches, doors, and other surfaces. The hotel is in serious need of a refresh. I was also disappointed that the continental breakfast didn’t include even a basic option like eggs. While the front desk staff were polite, I would still advise others to consider different accommodations.

Garbage had not been changed from previous guest. Was full of food containers and used condoms.

The property is relatively close to the airport. Because it is in a light industrial area close to the highway, it was noisy with traffic noise. As well, the room was very dry.

Great hot water, relatively comfortable, room very noisy - sound transfer between rooms and from the hallway, and the scraping of the trees on the fasscia woke me up regularly. Staff excellent.

Amenities were ok. Friendly staff . The bed sheets were not clean found hair in the bed. Staff didn’t know where surrounding locations are ie CAA centre in Brampton,

Room was great, staff is very friendly but the alarm on the elevator has to go! It is so loud everytime it closes that it actually hurts your ears!

The only good thing I can say about this hotel is the friendliness of the staff. Hotel is old and not the cleanest. There was old toothpaste on the hairdryer cord, hairs in the sheets. WiFi was as slow as a turtle and the breakfast was just awful. I will not stay there again

overall was good, however all rooms advertised bathrobes and when it was pointed it out to them, only got an apology for the mistake but no bathrobe. May seem small thing but not if you pack around these small details.

The room was huge! This hotel was conveniently located, with friendly staff, clean spaces, and a comfortable bed. My only complaint is that the AC unit was very loud. We were able to sleep by turning it to the fan setting, and the room was warm but not unbearable and at least it was a steady white noise instead of an on and off loud rattle. We ate at the restaurant in the hotel. The restaurant on site was good and very convenient.

Lady at the breakfast room was racist

the worst property I have ever stayed at. The staff here clearly do not know how to respect their guests. I asked to have the linens changed, and the front desk agent simply declined without offering any solution. I also asked for cutlery and was told there was none available — unbelievable for a hotel. To make things worse, the elevator was out of service. When I approached the front desk at night to ask if there was another elevator, the staff member was extremely rude — instead of apologizing or offering assistance, he just made rude facial expressions and didn’t even bother to inform me that I could use the stairs. No apology, no explanation — just pure disrespect. Absolutely terrible experience. I would never stay here again and would not recommend it to anyone.

Not so good experience staying at this place. I wonder how Expedia selects the hotels and advertise them on their website. This so called hotel has a terrible customer service. The front desk staff doesn’t even know what the customer service is. Especially at check in when the front desk agent was signing me in he started to chat with some entitled person who simply jumped in by cutting the line during check in process. I was not even able to ask some basic questions. Front desk person simply threw the keys at me and kept talking to the entitled person. I booked this place for 2 nights. First night was somewhat clean but the next night they did not even touched anything and simply swapped towels even though it was per night rent and the second night was even more expensive. When I complained about it at front desk he assured me that they will do something about it and let me know, but as expected worst customer service he did not left any feedback or comments on my complaint at the time when I was checking out. This hotel is a terrible place to stay. There is no greetings and all the employees working there has very spot expressionless faces all the time. This building feels like 18th century all stained. Bath tubs feels like it was plugged for several years and they just fixed it leaving there dark stains. Toilets are very old and so tiny feels like for babies. I would never ever go there again and will definitely let my friends circle never use Monte Carlo Inn.

The staff was exceptional! Very friendly, accommodating and helpful. The parking was super close and convenient. Loved the restaurant and the complimentary breakfast in the mornings. Parking was close and lots of dining options near by.

Staff were very helpful and polite. The overall place was kept really clean. Location is also quite convenient with easy access to airport and other local stores and businesses (Walmart is literally across the street).

Hotel was wonderful & totally met our needs. The room was quite spacious & clean. It’s conveniently located to restaurants & Walmart nearby. I would definitely stay again if I was visiting the city.

Breakfast so limited, only fruit bred butter and that’s it. If you want eggs or bacon you have to pay 8 cad each. Really?? Even the 2 stars give you the basic breakfast as an eggs, potatoes, etc. Very bad guys you save money on that way. I’ll never coming back to this hotel.

Terrible breakfast, everything else was fine

We enjoyed our on-site restaurant meal. Our main floor room was spacious and comfortable. One of the chairs was missing a foot so that it wobbled.
