The pool was closed with no explanation, hallways were stinky and HOT, our door keys did not work so front desk had to let us in. The whole locking system was broken on our room. We couldn’t come and go.

Convient off the 401 with lots of parking. I arrived 20 minutes early but no way was i allowed in. Whole facilities were clean but very dated. And expensive, maybe not for that area, but still.

Very unclean, no elevator available in the facility.

The property does not provide wheelchair access. If you park at the designated handicap parking space, the first thing you are faced with is an 8 inch curb between you and the entrance.

Side doors, of which there are several are left unlocked all night. Went in cold, given a rate of $165 with taxes and fees, I declined, went on Expedia and found a rate for $55. Room was nice, comfortable bed. Breakfast was servicable.

Corridors and rooms smell bad. All the doors are open to everyone and it is not safe. Security deposit is exaggerated.it doesn’t deserve to deposit 200 as a security for this hotel. I won’t recommend.

It is old, smelly, and our ac unit did not work. Door knob for the bathroom was on backwards. Not accessible, always 3-4 stairs.

Just generally in run down condition. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Building didn’t feel secure as no key was required to enter the premises.

The property is well kept - I wish the gym was open as advertised

When entering the room the bed spread was not made and was stained. The back of the toilet seat was covered in a dark brown substance that i dont care to know what it was. Unclean living space overall.

Tub was dirty, sheets and bedding were dirty and stained. Asked for replacement bedding which was also dirty. Bathroom fan was broken and hanging from the ceiling. Even the remote control for the TV was greasy. Motel quality for hotel prices.

The bedsheets had yellow stains on them, the coffee machine area was messy, the curtains had all kinds of stains on them. The bathtub had hairs in and around it. The mirror had stains all over it. Checked out a second room and the bedsheets had stains on them so we went to a third room and again bedsheets stains. Overall, the appearance of the rooms was distasteful and dirty. We decided that we had the choice but to stay in the third room. When asked for fresh blankets the attendant asked if I would like to make the bed or if I I wanted her to make the bed so she made the beds. With the third room, the bedsheets being changed, we pointed out that the mirror was full of stains, the bathtub had stains on. With no other choice but to stay in that room after given cleaner blankets, we had no body wash in the shower, the a/c was very loud, and overall felt disgusted sleeping there. Will not recommend.

When we arrived in our room, it was obvious that the floors had not been swept in sometime. We removed the area rug as it was filthy. I went to the front desk and asked for a dustpan and broom which they gave me and didn’t ask why I spent the next 10 minutes Sweeping the bathroom and the hotel room itself. We won’t stay here again.

This hotel is old, tired and run down. Our room had old, tired furniture, a sinking, lumpy bed and a sad bathroom. The whole facility needs a makeover or a bulldozer.

- the carpets were badly worn and the doors needed a new coat of paint - the key cards didn't work well, had to go back to the desk for new ones -the TV reception was terrible, low resolution picturesw and sound had static - the microwave and coffee maker in the room were unplugged and couldn't reach behind to plug them in - the clock radio didn't get any stations - had to go up and down several sets of stairs to access the room' - the free hot breakfast was only eggs and sausages. there was some cereal and bagels but all in all not very nice - desk people did their best under the circumstances although when I asked about saving energy but not putting new sheets on the bed they said use the 'Do Not Disturb' sign when actually there was a sticker on the bathroom sink mirror saying they only changed the sheets every 3 days which was what I wanted anyway

Great location right off the highway and nearby restaurants. Rooms have hardwood floors which is much better than carpet, especially with kids. Complimentary breakfast was simple yet complete. Only complaint was the angled section of the building (rooms in the 300s and 400s) have very spotty almost unusable wifi coverage.

Lighting in mirror area is poor and mattress in 101 needs replacing in my opinion. I as able to keep the room at a comfortable temp so that was a plus.

King bed was VERY uncomfortable. We could feel the springs, and the mattress was not level, dipping down in one corner. The bed didnt have properly sized, fitted King sheets. Instead, had a queen sized flat sheet laid on top, leaving a.portion of the old, bare mattress exposed for us to sleep on. The air conditioning did cool the room well, but leaked water across the floor. The hotel responsed to this by bringing towels to the room for us to sop it up with, and build a dam to prevent a river streaming across the room. The hallway door slammed continuously outside of our room as each guest came and went. Overall, a disappointing stay for the cost.

We purposely booked a stay as it was great last year. This time there was no shampoo or body wash, the a/c/ heat unit was terribly loud and the bed was very uncomfortable because it was so low in the middle, made it extremely difficult for a couple to sleep without rolling into each other

All the basics were there but be ready for noise penetration from other units especially from above. I was able to hear and count the heard of elephants that were in the room above.

The door to my room was not able to close properly resulting in the door to bang every time the double doors outside the room opened. Staff took their smoke break outside the window and were very noisy. Checking out staff was not friendly and might have said five words the whole time. Would never recommend this property to anyone.

Had to switch rooms 3 times each room was dirty. Broken lights. Broken tvs. Broken heaters. Broken doors. Staff was annoyed that i kept finding issues. I just wanted a decent room and had to settle for one that still wasnt all that great

Access to enter very easy off the highway but trying to enter from opposite side off Stewart Street very difficult waiting for traffic as you need to cross over solid line. Desk staff just ok i guess if you like a 2 to 3 word dialogue. Was able to do an early check-in which was quite nice. Room was as expected....except when i returned later to run a bath for my child; only the shower head was working. Was given another room, had to pack-up & un-pack again. Then to find out the fridge was not working and had to yet again change rooms. Not long after finally settling in the TV remote stopped working. Front desk came fixed it only for it to crash again. I did not mind manually operating the TV but the 2nd time the girl left with the remote and never informed me if she was coming back or not. I had to go to the front desk and ask and was just told "it not work'. I had to say "ok i will do it manually". Serve yourself breakfast buffet style was great!

Staff @ front desk, most helpful - went beyond required duty and arranged an alternate room to be cleaned to provide us with a walk-in shower vs. tub/shower unit. Eighty + year old tenants have difficulty using a tub as shower stall.

The front desk employee that we dealt with that worked during the day that we checked in and also the day that we left was unbelievably rude, cold and dismissive. My husband and I were only in the area to have a memorial of my daughter’s passing and staying at this hotel was just horrid because of the way that she treated us. She doesn’t even acknowledge guests (like even just looking at them) when they approach when she is on the phone so you stand there for the better part of ten minutes. Then she seems annoyed that you are still there. I asked her about a product that was served at breakfast and she just giggled and told me that she would go and find out…so I stood there, and she gave me an annoyed look like are you still standing here?!? And then said “I will do it and tell you at check out”. And then when I came to check out, she simply told me “oh the box just says sausages”. On top of that the hotel is very “run down”…in order to pull the door shut when we were leaving the room we had to put the key card in as it would make a loud bang. We obviously weren’t the only ones that experienced this “Issue” as banging doors kept me up almost all night. I will recognize two employees. One was a lovely woman that was working housekeeping (older woman with blonde hair); and Kora. I recognize Kora because I called the hotel to actually find out the information that I had asked for before leaving and Kora was more than happy to actually take the time look into it.

A very dated property that is in great need of a refresh. Mattresses need to be repaced including pillows. Person at front desk could care less about customers. Even though the property was virtually empty an early check in was not allowed. We had to change in a questionable public washroom to attend a funeral. The included 'hot' breakfast was not, and there was no staff present to address the situation. I would not recommend this property.

Was treated very fairly by management who upgraded me when my booked room was not a available. No issues or concerns.

Although the room looked clean the hallway and room had a weird smell. The towels had a stale sent to them as well. I liked the breakfast options and the fact they had a Japanese restaurant attached. Very conveniently close to the hwy.

Quiet, even though near highway. Nice seating area even though just regular room. Good value.

Very close the 401 and all major restaurants, gas and shopping. Was surprised at the hotel's cleanliness and size of the room. Needs some updating but was fine for an overnight stay- room could use a sitting chair not just a computer chair. Negative: the bathroom- toilet seat was discolored and damaged & the bathtub was stained/chipped. The mini fridge hadn't been emptied- last visitor left me a half open beer, slice of pizza and 3 sandwhiches- none of which I consumed!! Overall, would stay there again for a short stay.

Room had broken tiles, shower was filthy, curtains dirty. Room smelled and bed was uncomfortable, sheets were not clean. The breakfast was stale and eggs looked old and moldy. Television had bad reception and walls very thin. Safety locks were broken.

There was only one face towel the mattress of the bed very used and too soft and the bred for breakfast had mold.

Very good breakfast,everyone friendly but no elevator.

Days Inn was adequate. Clean, except for the leaking air con in the room. Breakfast was sub standard. We appreciated the early check-in

This was one of the worst hotels I've stayed at through hotels.com. The hotel itself is in a decent location, but that is all it had going for it. We were put in a room at the far end of the hotel, which was confusing to find due to poor signage. The halls smelled musty and stale, with an obvious smell of bleach seemingly in an attempt to cover it up. The room is small, which was fine, but was dusty, had splatters and stains on the walls, and the bottom of the bathroom door looked like it had been swiped one too many times with a dirty mop, as it was stained black. The bedding had stains, and the pillows were lumpy and dense. The only good thing about this hotel is the little sushi restaurant inside, the food was great and the service was excellent.

This was the WORST stay I have ever had with a hotel. First thing, it’s Valentine's Day weekend so I book a room with a jacuzzi. Conveniently enough, the room doesn’t actually have a working jacuzzi. The hotel was trying to blame Expedia saying that Expedia doesn’t know that that room doesn’t have a working jacuzzi. Excuse me? If you knew that the jacuzzi didn’t work, why is it even listed in the first place? This isn’t Expedias fault, this is yours. After that, the taps weren’t even correct. The hot was cold and the cold was hot. We went to the front desk & she told us that she would text her manager that evening (Fri Feb 14th) to let him know what was happening. She could not move us to a new room because the other rooms were dirty. She said the manager is in tomorrow (Feb 15th) morning and he’ll see what he can do. We go down the next morning since we didn’t hear from anyone and the manager had absolutely no idea what was going on because the girl at the front desk FAILED to actually tell him what was happening. His excuse was that she bothers him about a lot of things already and probably didn’t want to bother him about that as well. They finally got us a room with a working jacuzzi, but this could have been a much simpler process had this been done right the first time. Also, their breakfast is probably the most disappointing thing I have ever had. The yogurt was sour and the sausages were so over cooked you could use them as a door stop. My experience was awful.

Easy walk to the downtown area, friendly staff, great sushi restaurant. Pool looked wonderful but was not yet open for the season. Very comfortable bed!!

Affordable, no-frills accomodation. Clean but dated. Free breakfast is good, but come early.

We were only there over night, the staff was accommodating when we had issues with the TV. Lots of choices for meals and they offered breakfast.
