Hotel Colonial Iguaçu

Área da piscina e playground muito bacana, funcionarios atenciosos. Quarto confortável e silencioso, muito bom.

This was the perfect hotel for our stay. We used the free transportation from the airport. They have tour agency to set up activities for you. They have a shuttle to the Falls. They hired a driver for us to get us across to Argentina. The restaurant is open until midnight. We were starving when we arrived late. It was nice to have that available. The property is older, but clean.

Closeness to airport and bird park, airport shuttle and breakfast buffet. Jacuzzi cold, room a little like hotel 6.

Terrivel a experiência , não volto nunca mais , .nenhum dia pudemos usar as piscinas, a interna em manutençao e a externa repleta de de um grupo de pessoas totalmente mal educadas e porcas, que estavam fumando na piscina e escutando musicas com caixas de som altas e com musicas pornograficas, recalamos para a recepção e nada foi feito e resolvido

Perfect for one night. Restaurant was good, rooms are lacking but clean. Staff friendly. Swimming pool outstanding.

The hotel is close to the airport and close to the falls, and also provides free pickup from the airport (return trip does cost) which is why we booked it. The property itself was nice-ish but a bit old. A restaurant, several pools, gift shops etc. However the room was quite dated and uncomfortable. When we opened our door we saw several (at least 7) mosquitos flying around. The windows were shut but there were several gaps between hoses and shutters that led outside. We tried to kill as many as possible but still ended up bit. The beds were uncomfortable and the pillows were flat as pancakes. We visited in August (winter/sping time) and it was freezing at night. The hotel does not have heat but does supply blankets- but they are not sufficient. We were cold all night. The hotel also leaves some windows in the hallways open all the time, even at night. This makes it super chilly and lets bugs in. Everyone at breakfast was wearing coats or sweaters. Reception staff were very nice but there was definitely a language barrier both during check in and check out, and we had to use google translate several times as they didnt speak much English.

This hotel is perfect for visiting Iguazu Falls. They offered free airport pickup which was great too. The concierge was brilliant and organised my tickets for the national park and also the Macuco Safari. I had the breakfast as well and the selection was huge and tasted great. I will stay again if I’m in town

Hotel grande, com muito potencial para ser melhor do que é. Quartos muito antigos, com mofo, não tem academia como fala na descrição e alguns funcionários não são tão cordiais. A comida foi uma surpresa muito gostosa e com preço acessível, o café da manhã tb muito bom.

I stayed at this hotel for visiting the National Park Iguazu Brazilian side. It is located very close to the airport and the park. The hotel offers a shuttle service for airport and park transportations. This eliminated the hazels of renting a car or calling taxi. It was prompt and reliable. You need to call ahead for airport pickup. The breakfast was outstanding.

Ar condicionado ok, chuveiro demora a esquentar, não usei a piscina mas aparentemente era boa e limpa

Hotel necessita de reforma, pois ainda tem mofo no banheiro.

Quarto limpo, porem com os batentes da porta do banheiro estragados na parte de baixo.

O unico defeito que em tres noites nao quiseram limpar o quarto. So na terceira noite perguntaram se eu queria que limpasse. Informo.que as lixeiras estao cheias. Toalhas precisam ser trocadas .e colocar sabonete novos. Tres dias com o mesmo sabonete. Restaurante excelente. Cafe da manhha tambem otimo. Alguem da administracao precisa fazer curso de limpesa e higiene.

The room had bedbugs and was very dirty. There was paint splatter everywhere and mold and it was very dirty. We had to leave to stay at a new hotel after we found bedbugs.

Las aéreas comunes están bien pero las habitaciones son horribles, viejas, descuidadas. Las sábanas se veían sucias, igual las toallas del baño. El baño olía mal y muy descuidado. Necesitan actualizar las habitaciones porque son un desastre.

Estrutura bastsnte antiga e muito depreciada. Banheiro sujo. Pia quebrada. Teto com manchas de fungos. Piso com fungos nos cantos. Cama aparentava estar limpa

O hotel tem uma infra estrutura boa, porém precisa urgentemente de reforma nos banheiros. Batentes da porta descascando, azulejo do piso e parede horríveis e faltava limpeza do lado externo da janela.

peguei pra ir pro aeroporto no dia seguinte, então valeu a pena. Mas o quarto era MUITO antigo, de verdade. Nao valeria a pena pra mim pra ir em passeio

Edifício antigo,quarto espaçoso, box do banheiro meio apertado, chuveiro bom, cama de casal grande mas são 2 colchões um do lado do outro, então no meio não é confortável, café da manhã com variedades.

As instalacoes gerais do hotel como piscina e restaurantes sao boas. Porem os quartos parecem um cenario perfeito para gravar um filme de terror. Velhos, falta de manutencao, uma quantidade absurda de mosquitos.

The pool with water slide is great for kids. The rooms are horrendous. We were basically in a dungeon. One shutter didn't open, so it was really dark. The window only opened a tad, but since the screen was torn, we would have had to keep it closed anyway. Lots of mosquitoes inside. The toilet didn't flush and the shower didn't drain. Food was ok. Beds we're comfortable.

The hotel is super conveniente if you want to be close to the falls, unfortunatelly the room i was given was nothing like the pictures shown in the internet. There was a hole on my door that fit my finger, plus another one on the wall. The bed was king size but one side was higher than the other, bathroom windows dont even close properly (very old), and the bug screen was ripped, i was afraid to open the windows cause of the bugs. I also didn’t have a side lamp on the room at all. Only ceiling lamp. Bathroom was really old. But breakefest was nice, the staff was friendly and nice, and the rest of the hotel was good. Honestly the rooms need lots of upgrades. And the hall the lead to the rooms looks like a 1900’s hospice.. kind of scary. So if you want a nice room you should consider that before going to that hotel.

The rooms are very much outdated. They need a good coat of paint.

As acomodacoes estavam boas, tudo limpo e agradável. O corredor é barulhento o tempo todo. Uma sugestao seria carpete para amenizar o som de sapatos e rodinhas das malas. No quarto q eu fiquei, o secador de cabelo tinha o fio muito curto, impossibilitando de secar meu cabelo por completo. Além disso, meu cabelo ficou enroscado dentro do secador pois nao tinha uma protecao na parte de tras dele. Isso me fez com que tivesse q cortar o cabelo para sair de dentro do secador. Os funcionários sao prestativos e educados. O hotel é perto do aeroporto e o serviço de transfer ajuda demais.

o hotel é antigo, mas ainda é confortável, no quarto que ficamos tinha uma porta que dava acesso ao quanto do lado, por mais que estivesse fechada ainda dava para escutar tudo que os hospedes do lado conversavam, isso é bem incomodo

Gostamos da nossa estadia, no entanto, tivemos um problema com o transfer para o aeroporto. O embarque do meu irmão era as 06:00 e o aeroporto fica há 5 minutos do hotel. Pedimos para o transfer levar ele às 05:45 e ele disse que precisava esperar até as 06:00 e que não poderia ir antes. Então, eu levei meu irmão e, quando voltei: as 06:04 o transfer ainda estava lá porque não havia ninguém para levar ao aeroporto. Situação chata... porque o motorista poderia ter levado o meu irmão e retornado e eu não precisaria ter levado ele antes.

Very bad. Smelly room. Shower not functional. Water goes everywhere from shower. We found the room with empty shampoo and body wash liquid. The staff rarely speak English and always do something else compared what you ask

Shuttle wasnt there at arrival though i had email confirmation from them. On departure they pawned me off to the tour bus guys and they wanted to charge me. Room was old. Maid left used soap in shower. I think they gave me one of the worst rooms and location. Buffet was ok. Pools too. Though the did nothing about a bee hive where the ladder is. Thats the attitude they have. Location is perfect though. 1km from airport on the left. If they fail to pick u up. Also 1km to entrance to the falls. I took the bus for 5r and walked back when i saw how close it was. Reception wanted me to take a taxi for 30r. The plane noise and road noise can be blunted by ac. Noisy neighbors in echo-y hallway couldnt be. Had hot water. Wifi ok. They spoke limited english.

Unremarkable experience in this Hotel Colonial Iguazu. Hotel staff don't speak and can't understand English. It was difficult to communicate. In addition receptionists aren't friendly, they never said "Good morning". The conditions of the room weren't that good, very old fornitures (doors, shower...) and we didn't find the floor clean when we first entered. The price is good and so the food (we had breakfasts and lunches).

Hotel bom, perto demais das cataratas, parque das aves, exposicao de carros, uma linha de onibus local passa na frente do hotel. Quarto bom, cama otima, atendimento dos colaboradores excelente. Wifi rapido. Cafe da manha bom, com varias opcoes de comidas. Unica coisa que mudaria no hotel e urgente é o cheiro ruim de esgoto, parecia, que sai do banheiro, do box, pelo que parece. Se a porta do banheiro esta fechadola, nao tem problema, mas caso deixe aberta, fica bem incomodo.

The hotel location is good, about 15-20 minute walk to the Iguazu National Park ticketing area. The hotel is very basic in terms of building and room conditions and facilities. It is also far from city but very close to the airport. You get what you pay for so if your spending a couple of days visiting waterfalls and the bird park, and don’t want to pay for luxury, it’s ok to sleep and eat here.

Muy conveniente para visitar las cataratas de Iguazú, está ubicado a 1Km del aeropuerto y a 1Km de la entrada del parque. El transporte que ofrece la agencia de viajes del hotel es seguro y buen precio

O hotel é bom, excelente café da manhã e ideal para quem quer estar ao lado da entrada do parque das cataratas, mas mesmo assim tem que pegar um translado para o parque que tem o valor de 20 reais por pessoa ida e volta pois para chegar lá, o hotel fica a quase dois quilômetros. O único inconveniente do hotel é que é longe de Foz do Iguaçu, Puerto Iguazú e de Ciudad del Leste. O UBER não vai até lá e o translado oferecido pela empresa de turismo situada no hotel é caro por volta de 100 reais. Resta só o ônibus de linha que passa de hora em hora. Mas se você tiver de carro não haverá problemas. Minha sugestão e que o hotel disponibilize uma vã com custo acessível para o centro de foz com alguns horário durante o dia para a ida e volta. A volta é mais fácil de pegar um UBER.

good attention and excellent location

The location is good. It is in the middle way between the airport and the fall national park. I walked 20 minutes from the airport to this hotel, and 20 minutes from the the hotel to the main entrance of the national park. Check in also very good and professional. The breakfast is good with many items of foods. But the draw back is the room I stayed was very noisy. Motorcycles noise all over the night. People yelling and speaking loudly during midnight. I can’t sleep during my stay. Not much the front desk can do even I complain a few times.

Hotel muito antigo, visivelmente sem reformas a anos. Camas não eram confortáveis. Café da manhã faltava coisas e demoravam para repor ou nao tinha para repor. Havia uma escada onde onde os funcionários utilizavam e a porta ficava batendo cada vez que entravam e saiam, logo pela manhã isso, ..... Fiquei frustrada com o que foi ofertado pelo site e a realidade. Não recomendo.

Tudo ok, exceto a demora para entrega do pedido, pois no sistema dava 15 minutos e levou 40 para entregar e o pessoal da manutenção estava fazendo barulho no apartamento do lado ou de cima em pleno 21:30.
