Best Western Voyageur Place Hotel

No breakfast was provided and we were given a small room in the low section of the building. Paid Best Western rate and was given a miserable room by Brooke the Service Supervisor. We were not aware that this was the bad section. Next time we will not use hotels.com

Staff were very pleasant, upbeat and accommodating. Location great and ample parking. The hotel itself is somewhat dated and perhaps in need of a “facelift” or “refresh”. Room was nice, good size and comfortable. However, again the “age” of the place made the room musty and “stagnant” smelling. Perhaps some newer furniture and deep carpet cleaning might freshen it up. There were a few bits of “clean-up” undone… hair in tub, dirty glass in closet… nothing drastic. Bed very clean though and comfortable, pillows great!

Parking was great and the bed was very comfy! We stayed 2 nights and really needed good sleep! The one thing that could be improved is the fluctuating water temperature in the shower. Thanks!
