We received our room in the afternoon. It was too cold but the A/C was locked so we couldn’t adjust the temperature. When we told the front desk, we were told that previous guests had had the same problem in this exact room. Nothing was done that day though, which means that we were freezing all night and I caught a cold from it. The next morning they showed us how to reset it, but by then we had already had the bad experience. My question is why they didn’t learn from the previous guests issues, so future guests would experience the same? The next morning we left the “please clean my room” tag on our door, but when we got back to our room it hadn’t been cleaned. When asking why and whether they could then clean it, the answer was that we should have informed them before 9 AM - the problem is just that they hadn’t informed us about that?! And again a question arise… Why would you have the “please clean my room”-tags if you need to inform front desk no matter what?! Just doesn’t make sense. So it is clear to say that we weren’t exactly impressed with this hotel.
