Quality Hotel Airport (South)

We were very happy with the prompt service when checking in and the cleanliness of the room. Parking is tight when you are checking in, but the underground parking once you are checked in was fine. The EV charger was broken, which was unfortunate. The hot breakfast was pretty good. A gym would have been nice.

The room was clean and the bathroom look like it was recently renovated. They look very nice. The one problem I had was With the parking garage. The release to raise the security gate from the inside going out needs one more bar. It was very difficult to get my Dodge ram out of the gate. This was simply due to the layout of the garage. By adding one more bar/sensor to open the gate the problem would be eradicated.

Pros: The location is great and the room and bathroom was large and fairly comfortable. It was nice to have a hot breakfast. Shower water pressure was good and hot water was abundant. Staff are polite. Cons; The parking garage was half filled with construction materials and junk from a renovation that looked unsightly and also took up parking spaces which were limited. The rooms had mismatching light bulbs, no power outlet near the bed to charge phones, the fridge was so loud it needed to be unplugged at night and the bathroom soap dish was broken and almost hanging off the wall leaving no place to put soap in the shower. The breakfast had no gluten free options and the coffee was not refilled. The hot water smelled of coffee and was not hot enough to make tea. I would stay here again because the location was walkable and the room was large and the bed was very comfortable.

Room was small but clean/functional. Parking garage below was full of supplies/trash being stored so extremely limited parking. Breakfast was plentiful but not great quality and dining area was extremely small/crowded. We would have taken breakfast to our rooms but this was not allowed. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall, it worked as a hotel room but was priced very high for the quality.

Staffs are friendly, Airport Shuttle is on time, Breakfast meal is included. but… the room is awful, sadly the one i had wasn’t nice. the door was missing the door viewer so i had to stuffed it with tissue for protection. the walls, furnitures, and everything in room was cracking/cracked - they said they are going to renovate it, they should not let the customers rent that kind of room if it’s going for repairs. the bed wasn’t smell clean, carpet/floors are dirty. toiletries are limited, no hair dryer. bathtub doesn’t drain by itself, need to lift the drainer manually as it is plugged tightly. the parking ceiling is so low, unfortunately my car got scratched because it hits the ceiling. if you have a small car then it should be fine but if you have a SUV or Van - it will be a problem as the parking is tight.

Good service , good for the price point , underground parking is really good

Room is very clean and comfortable bed. Breakfast is also very good and the parking underground is very safe. Staff are friendly. The park behind the hotel is beautiful!

This location was under renovation or upgrades.. the furniture, bedfing and all the new stock was piled up in the underground parkade taking up 10 spaces, this caused a situation throughout the weekend where the was not enough parking for all registered guests. Upon enquiring where we were to park it was recommended to "JUST USE THE WHEELCHAIR SPOT" When i objected to this and asked if my tow bill would be paid i was curtly brushed off and advised to park 10minutes away in PAID parking garage.. after asking if i can get a voucher for this absurd solution she again brushed it off as our problem. This same deskperson directed me to walk 10minutes away to find a spot that sells coffee WHEN THERES COFFEE ALL DAY IN THE LOUNGE?? What happened to common sense nowadays? The room was very small.. the beds are the cheapest steel spring type mattresses, no desk or seating in the rooms, bed only.. absolutely never staying there again.

More than enough shampoo, towels, etc. Didn’t sample breakfast, so can’t comment on that, but had two cups of coffee from the in-room Keurig. Only complaint was the parking garage was a bit tight and spots were sparse.

Difficulty parking

Room wasn't very clean and staff left cleaning rags on the window sill. Any amenities for the room was not working whatsoever. Bathroom was very dirty and there was hair in the sink as well as the shower. Visit at your own risk or as a last resort.

Bathroom wasn’t clean. Dirty wall and floor, Found a clump of hair and toilet seat was extremely loose. Shower curtain didn’t fit. Wifi didn’t connect unless we were downstairs. Made me wonder if the bedding was even clean. Not impressed

When we checked in , The bed has a lot of hair, The night audit person helped us by giving us new sheets and changed it ourselves.

The hotelroom was very clean, the staff welcoming and attentive.

The breakfast was very good. Staff friendly. Ants crawling in shower. Carpets appeared to HAVE NOT been vacuumed in some time in room. Carpets in hallway and elevator also dirty. Room only had sheer drapes. Other curtains did not pull over for privacy.

We booked this for an overnight stay after a flight from overseas. The room itself, was OK at best. The bathroom was absolutely disgusting, though. No exaggeration, there was snot stuck on the bathroom wall beside the toilet. Clearly someone was cleaning their nose and wiping it on the wall. It is very noticeable, so how it hasn't been cleaned is beyond me. The bathtub obviously has "chunks" out of it, and instead of repairing, it was painted over in those spots in a different colour. The grout around the tiles has not been cleaned - stained pinkish/orange from shower scum. We were very uncomfortable and pretty grossed out by this place that we checked around 330am instead of sticking around until morning to have breakfast. The price they charged is definitely way too high for the quality. Our advice, look for alternate accommodations.

Room was dirty, hair on the coffee stand and debris on the floor.

Stayed for a single night while in town for The Eras Tour. So we way overpaid at $650CAD for a single night, but that was still a “deal” compared to many others. While the room looked clean, the bathroom reeked of urine. Luckily we caught the last housekeeper leaving for the day and she was gracious enough to come and clean the bathroom floor and around the toilet. It did not help the odor at all. Only offer from the front desk was for a scent thing to try and cover up the urine smell. Unfortunately, there were no other rooms to move to. After checking out we were instructed to message the manager to discuss further. The managers only response was that they’d look into it and hope we’ll try the hotel again. Refused to give any compensation despite us not being able to use the bathroom for fear of where the urine smell was coming from. I absolutely will not be trying this hotel next time I’m in town! There’s no way housekeeping didn’t smell the pungent odor when they were in there, it smelled worse than a New York City subway corner covered in years of stale urine! Beyond the disappointment with the room itself, the breakfast buffet was also severely lacking. Many of the items were inedible. Coffee and juices were constantly running out and the attendant was sitting on the floor in the kitchen area on her phone the entire time. Guest after guest had to go interupt her asking for plates, coffee, juice, help with the pancake machine, etc.

The location is great. The property was being renovated so the room looked new. However, the room we got was tiny. It was hard to go around the bed without bumping into things.

The room was very well taken care of, and the staff extremely friendly! The only issue I had was with the WiFi - it only was able to connect with my phone the first night, but not at any other time, and the staff was unable to assist in resolving the issue. I had to go downstairs to the lobby to connect. Other than that, though, I very much enjoyed my stay!

A bit dated. Room had carpet. Bed and pillows were really soft. But the room was clean .

This hotel is next to the hospital and a few blocks from the mall and Skytrain. Easy to get around, quiet, safe. Good range of breakfast hours. It is recently renovated and kept clean. My room had a problem with the door sticking and I had to call for help once to let me out. Staff are polite and helpful. Airport shuttle service is nice except that my (unusual) departure time fell outside the service hours. I would stay here again.

The rooms and beds are very comfortable. The bathrooms are big and clean. There is a shuttle bus back to the airport. It’s small but a very convenient hotel.

Good location, modern upgrades

Room was clean and comfortable. I actually had a balcony overlooking the lovely little park behind the hotel. Would have appreciated a chair to sit out there. Staff friendly and helpful. Hotel was surprisingly quiet given how busy an area it is in. Breakfast was nice and plentiful.

Large room with 2 queen beds and large bathroom. Very clean and modern.

I loved it here! This was my first time in Vancouver and the staff, especially Samaira, were AMAZING! When I come back to Vancouver, I will make it my mission to stay here again. :)

Clean and quiet rooms despite the hotel being in a prime area of Richmond. Breakfast was decent. Service was good, housekeeping had already gone home, but when I requested one towel, front desk provided me with multiple. Thank you for a wonderful stress-free stay!

Just beware shuttle is unreliable and if you have any issues the manager is “too busy”. I specifically booked this hotel for the complimentary shuttle service. Upon booking I received an automated message that the shuttle does not run between 12am-4am -our plane arrived at 12:30am, so we had to pay for a cab. I booked a shuttle for the following morning allowing an hour for my husband and I to get from the hotel to the south terminal-this should have been plenty of time. The hotel shuttle was late and made a stop at another hotel (which we were not aware of). Once we’d got to the main terminal we’d missed the airport shuttle to the south terminal. We asked the hotel shuttle if he could take us to the other terminal, he said we could get back in the shuttle and he’d take us back to the hotel, we could ask reception and if they said yes, he would take us. This made absolutely NO sense as we were now running late. Also, why not just call the hotel himself and ask his colleagues. Again, we had to pay for a cab to the south terminal. Once reaching the south terminal we had missed the cutoff time for getting our luggage onto the flight. As I didn’t have any luggage, I was allowed onto the flight. My husband who had checked luggage was denied and had to pay $105 AND wait for 6.5hrs for the next flight. I have since called 3 times and emailed the manager with no response. Each time I call, staff say the manager is “too busy”. I’m not sure what is more important than yourcustomers.

The front counter staff over night was nice, the female staff I had on the phone the day prior when trying to book a shuttle pick up was rude and lying(did not emailed me the info she said she would) The hotel advertised pick up from airport, but when you actually ask to be picked up they tell you that it’s to late or the driver is off shift , a manager was supposed to get in contact with but never did.

Easy location clean room service was great

We followed instruction to call the hotel for the shuttle pick up. After being on hold for four minutes the attendee said the shuttle would be there in 10-15min. 30 minute later we are in a Uber. The shuttle NEVER came. I called and was on hold again multiple times for over 6 minutes and no one ever answered. TERRIBLE service.

The shuttle service was a joke. They share a van service with another hotel. Even though they said the shuttle service stops at 12am I called ahead of time to tell them wed be out around that time. We got out at 12:02 and the driver left. The issue was there was only 2 seats left when we had a party of 10. So we had to Uber ourselflbes to the hotel. Then the next day for the van to the airport we had 4 people go first at 1:45 which we had no issue. The rest of us were supposed to leave at 2:15 the van never arrived. There was a shift change so we had to wait until 2:45 when the van called and said they won't be coming because the guests from the first hotel filled the van already. So front desk had to quickly call two cabs. The staff at the front desk was friendly but had her hands tied. She did her best, but the transportation issue is just a mess

The staff was very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. Great breakfast buffet.

We were a party of 14 that needed to book rooms after a canceled flight. I was able to get seven rooms.Kelzang at the front desk was so very kind and helpful and professional. We really appreciated her as it had been a very frustrating day. We enjoyed the spacious lobby area with a shared pizza meal.

Great neighborhood in Richmond. Close to train station.

My Mom and I enjoyed our stay! We found the hotel to be clean, quiet, comfortable, convenient to public transportation, and provided a good breakfast, Be sure to walk the beautiful park located behind the hotel!

Excellent location to the airport and straight shot north to downtown Vancouver. The rooms were very clean and the free breakfast adequate. We enjoyed our stay and would consider coming again.

My first time in vancouver and i booked this hotel packaged with my flight and i would say its very good. Accessible to the brighouse sky train station if you want to go downtown. A very good hotel package because it includes free breakfast and free shuttle back and forth to the airport.

Convenient location, friendly staff, safe, bus, skytrain and mall are near

This is a very good location for shopping, restaurants, walking (adjacent to Minoru Park), and public transportation.

The property was in a great location for accessing the transportation to Vancouver and great access to the airport. The free coffee and tea and breakfast was a bonus feature.There also was a beautiful walkable park with access right behind the hotel.

Great stay for what we needed. Clean and close to the airport. And great value for the price.

More gluten free options would be appreciated. Hotel staff and shuttle were very good.

Room was clean and bed was comfy. Breakfast was pretty good, though pretty busy at 8am on Saturday and staff were working hard but struggling to keep up. Shuttle from the airport was a little confusing (courtesy phone doesn't list "Comfort Hotel" it only lists "Quality Hotel" and even if you figure out they are the same shuttle, nobody answers the phone.) So we took an Uber from the airport to hotel. Apparently the airport pickup shuttle runs on the half hour and the shuttle to the airport runs on the 15 and 45, though we weren't provided that info until we checked in. Shuttle back to airport was convenient! Overall, would stay again!

So clean and cozy. The breakfast was too full of people we couldn’t sit and no fresh selection. Only one egg and 3 sausages. The man cooking was working his butt off and the front seat folks were very friendly. Went to bring breakfast to our room and it’s not allowed.

I thought the rooms were clean and good for the price. Our room looked out on a lovely park which was very handy. The only thing that spoiled the stay was the breakfast which was pretty bad.

I happy to see that there was actual plates and cutlery. Wherever I have stayed in the past, they only have paper plates.. I am vegetarian, there were sausages and eggs for meat eaters. It would be good if there is something fir vegetarians also, like hashbrowns?

Keys did not work 2 of 4 days. Need to go back down. Front desk tried stopping me from using restroom. Upon arrival, when I asked about disabled shower. She refused to look. I checked in at 3 pm start time. Lazy. Shower so slick, it was dangerous. No mat. Breakfast ran out 30 minutes early, 2 days.
