Great room and free breakfast! Very clean and room has been updated. Bathroom, TV, TV console all very nicely updated. Office chair is excellent. Older building, no elevator to second floor. All ground level rooms have an interior door and a patio door that exits to the parking lot. The property includes a gazebo and barbeque area in the back with a nicely mowned green space. Works if you need a hotel in this location. Near St. Thomas airport.

There is a choice of bathrooms with a glass shower or bathtub. I like the self-closing toilet seat. The hot breakfast is excellent, as there is a variety of foods one can have. There is a barbecue area and a gazebo for summer visits. I have never used it, but I like the fact that there is an on-site laundry room, which does not cost $24 to wash clothes if you have to. The customer service or front desk agents are always polite, pleasant, and helpful. Parking is on site and just and just a short drive up the street, are all the restaurants, Walmart, and other stores. There is no elevator because the building is a 2-storey building. As a bonus, there is a Petro Canada gas station close by, and it is much cheaper than in London.

Best Comfort Inn we’ve ever stayed in. I wish this was the standard for them all. One small negative is that there is no elevator. It’s only a 2 storey building but carrying our suitcases up a flight of stairs after a long week of travel, was a bit of a chore.

The checkin process was quick, and the room was nice. Clean, spacious and comfortable with lots of amenities- fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Breakfast was pretty comprehensive, lots of hot, fresh options (not just pastries and cereal). Fitness centre is not much of a centre. It’s a small room with one treadmill, one elliptical, and a small cable pulley machine. But it has a tv, and it was kept very cool. Not sure how convenient it is for other things in the area but it was very close to a conference I attended, so it was all around a great choice!

The property was excellent but didn't have an elevator. So, if you have mobility issues, get a ground floor room. Otherwise great place to stay. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.

By far the cleanest place I’ve ever stayed. Beautifully maintained property and landscaping. Not a speck of garbage around the property. Rooms and furniture were VERY clean. Would always reccomend!

I thought this hotel was well appointed, the bed was quite comfortable, the location was good, and the breakfast was quite good. While the hotel and surroundings were clean, there was an awful lot of pubic hair in the bathroom that was not ours!

It was a fine place to stay in the St Thomas area. The staff was adorable and helpful while the room was stuffy and then once it cooled off we had a puddle on the carpet under the air conditioner. It wasn’t loud and was clean. Just a typical night at a good enough hotel.

Wonderful to be on the first floor with sliding doors/screen to open at night. Most hotels have windos locked shut! Fellow who checked me in was pleasant and helpful. My partner thought the sheets & pillows smelled nice.

I really liked our room. Main floor. Everything was great.only thing i would recommend is the doors into the suites. There is movement/play in the door. Everytime another door shut it would jolt our door. Can see light from the hallway between the door and the frame. Put a insullated strip at the lip of the frsme so no door's will slam and be noisey. Other then that everything was great.

I didn’t like the fact that they rounded up my bill and charged my credit card the night before when it says paid on site. They also charged me $10 more to get a room on the first floor. No other comfort inn has done that when we ask for a first floor room. And we have been in a lot of comfort inns in the last three years. Very disappointed.

Got charged an extra 10.00 due to the fact I needed a ground floor room. There is no elevator my wife could not do stairs due to a broken leg. Front desk claimed due to the outside drive up door it was considered an upgrade…are you kidding me!!! I hate being nickled and dimed

We have been stayed in this hotel more than 5 times. We love it; excellent bedding, immaculate cleaned, very nice staff, polite and helpful. Supreme Breakfast. I strongly recommend to go and enjoy the time at Comfort Inn in St. Thomas.

The breakfast was good variety. The room was clean and well laid out. Convenient ground level so my car was right outside my door. The Check in was slow and not very friendly. Manager was too busy on the phone, so another employee was walking by and checked me in. Later when leaving the Manager never said Hello, smiled or anything.

The staff were kind and courteous. We were apart of a hockey team. They were accommodating to our needs. The rooms were clean and very quiet. Check in and out was a breeze. After check out I realized I had forgotten a very important item in the room and they had already attempted to reach me to return the item before I realized it was gone. I was able to return to the hotel and it was quickly and easily returned. We were very happy with our experience.

Lovely modern property in the middle of nowhere. We enjoyed this spot for a stopover during a road trip in the area. The hotel is clean, rooms are comfortable and breakfast has a variety of options, including hot foods (eggs, meat, potatoes etc.) Staff are friendly and professional. We had rain through out the weekend we were here but the patio chairs outside the rooms are a nice touch.

We had a great couple days hotel was great location excellent close to all amenities, bed was comfortable bathroom newly renovated was nice access to vehicle out the patio doors was a bonus we will use this hotel again why we choose this was price we usually stay at holiday inn but comfort Inn price was so reasonable

The Comfort Inn in St Thomas is a decent property and the area was relatively quiet. It is in a convenient location and if you drive along Talbot Street you have restaurants and grocery stores and a variety of shops you can visit right very nearby. The property and room were clean and the beds were comfortable. I found the carpeting in the room to be a bit dated and because we had no option but to take a pet friendly room I was disappointed there was carpet at all because as a dog owner, I know that animals can have accidents I think it would be more sanitary to have a hard floor surface. The breakfast was unfortunately disappointing because the eggs were slightly undercooked and were cold and the potato wedges were also undercooked and cold. However I am grateful that they have a free breakfast. Coffee was decent and strong. Overall our stay was fine.

The checkin process was quick, and the room was nice. Clean, spacious and comfortable with lots of amenities- fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Breakfast was pretty comprehensive, lots of hot, fresh options (not just pastries and cereal). Fitness centre is not much of a centre. It’s a small room with one treadmill, one elliptical, and a small cable pulley machine. But it has a tv, and it was kept very cool. Not sure how convenient it is for other things in the area but it was very close to a conference I attended, so it was all around a great choice!

Hotel was okay. Limited seating capacity for breakfast. The staff was prompt to report that our baby was crying at 10 pm because a few guests were complaining, however the same staff was okay with some guests making noise past 1 am in the hallway, the previous night.

The only reason I stayed at this hotel was for the breakfast. I travel all over the country and with early activities like fishing for example I pay extra for a nicer hotel with a good breakfast. Everywhere I have been breakfast starts at 5am. We leave at 530. Here 630 and that info not shared anywhere so no breakfast. So on top of paying for an expensive room I had to go buy my own breakfast.

This hotel was definitely nice. The room was clean and updated. The breakfast was very good. As well as the hot items, I also noticed the coffee was quite good and the orange juice was not cheap stuff. There was an excellent selection. Well worth the stay in my eyes.

Our favourite hotel I believe that was our 7th or 8 th visit family lives in St Thomas why we frequent so much but we love the hotel rooms are clean and comfortable the grounds flowers are beautiful love the quiet gazebo out back breakfast is always plentiful and hot fresh clean as a whistle kudos to the lovely lady that keeps on top of it , forgot my toothbrush this time but no problem went to front desk to see if I could buy one nope it was free compliments of Comfort Inn

Very disappointing experience. Most of the staff at Comfort Inn St. Thomas were excellent—friendly, professional, and welcoming. Unfortunately, one receptionist completely changed our experience. She yelled at me on the phone, called me “buddy” during a tense conversation, said “I don’t care what the previous employee said,” and hung up on me. When I approached her calmly afterward, she refused to continue the conversation and walked away. I was also very uncomfortable with the harsh way she spoke directly to my 6-year-old son and 12-year-old daughter instead of addressing us as their parents. We were also given conflicting information by different staff regarding the pet policy. I have no problem following hotel rules, but they should be communicated consistently and respectfully. I emailed management afterward to give them an opportunity to address the situation privately. Unfortunately, I still have not received any response. It’s disappointing because every other staff member we dealt with was wonderful. I expected management to at least acknowledge such a serious customer-service concern.
