I was only there for one night on business. My room was very clean and I had a nice quiet night of sleep with a free breakfast. Lots of parking with security cameras.

A nice stay. It's a standard hotel. The rooms are clean and well kept. The beds were comfortable and the staff were friendly. It's close to lots of different amenities like a lake (no pool) and restaurants. I would stay here again.

The hotel was clean but very dated and drab. The breakfast bar was terrible with packaged snacks and no where to sit. We had to carry our food across the parking lot to eat in our room . The ad stated there was a pool, so we felt we paid extra for that, and there was no pool. Misrepresented.

The fact that I was in a secondary building was a bit of a surprise but it was ground level so that was ok. Some vending machines in the second building would have helped as I got a bit snacky later at night and didn’t want to go out to the gas station across the road in my pj’s. Unfortunately night staff couldn’t fix the TV issue. I had to figure it out on my own to correct something I wasn’t familiar with. Overall, stay was good and served its purpose as a place to rest my head and be safe. Staff were super friendly and tried to help as best they could. Thank you.

Not one to complain but this property wasn’t the best. Walking into the second build on the property the stairwell smelled of chemicals as if they were trying to hide a different scent. Upon walking into our room the first thing we noticed was the smell of stale cigarettes we also found a dead cockroach in the bathtub and one of our “clean” towels had brown finger prints on it (we took photos) overall next time I’ll be staying at the mill in Tillsonburg.

The room was clean, the staff was very helpful, the fridge took a while to get cold though. The smell of the room was good and the heater worked well. The towels were nice and I left a 20$ tip for the staff. I was especially happy with the service I got when I asked for an extra comforter, it was very puffy and warm and the young man who got it for me was very kind. I used the blanket in the bottom drawer but it was more like a throw. Good job!

Rooms had a weird smell as if someone smoked in them previously even though they were non smoking. You could smell it from the carpets and the curtains a long with a musty smell. I changed rooms because the toilet would not stop running in another room and basically the whole room smelled like toilet water (it was not overflowing just would not stop running) I get that its an old building in a small town but they'res just too much that needs updating. Staff is so friendly though 10/10 for the two women at the front desk.

It is clean enough but very dated and small. The coffee maker and coffee etc were kept on the very small counter in the bathroom. Kind of a gross place to keep it. Decor was a mix of ikea and old. Bed was very comfy. Breakfast was sparse. The hotel served its purpose for a quick place to stay but I probably wouldn’t return.

Great hotel overall. The staff were friendly, courteous, and helpful. The AC worked perfectly, and it was 35°C (95°F) daily, so we needed it. The wifi signal wasn't the strongest, but it worked for basic needs. I'd definitely stay again.

It’s definitely an older hotel so if you’re looking for an contemporary environment it won’t be for you, but all I needed was clean and comfortable and it ticked both those boxes. For as dated as the hotel is, it’s very clean and the bed and pillows were comfortable. I have 2 complaints tho, walls are thin and the plumbing from the other rooms is LOUD, so I was woken up a few times by the noise.

TV would not turn on, once it did, no volume. Bathtub had 1" of water in it from a leaking tap when I arrived. Had to plug in the fridge when I arrived??? wi fi did not work and was a business trip. Bed was comfortable.

HJ Tillsonburg is a nice place. Rooms are comfortable enough but a little dated. Everything worked although the bathroom tap was tight and required a bit of strength and the screen door was off the track (still opened easily). Stepping out of the bathtub was tricky as there aren’t any grab bars and you have to to cautious.

The hotel appears a bit dated, but I believe the beds are new. Beds were comfy. Rooms were clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great little restaurant, with home cooked like food, next door /attached.

Even though I had confirmation from expedia the hotel didn’t have our reservation and weren’t really particularly helpful or concerned about that . After quizzing me as if it was my problem they did have another room available. Then when we went to the room we couldn’t find the tv remote . Again they suggested we search for it and when they finally called maintenance he found it.. under the bed. Not the greatest experience

The room was clean and cute! The bathtub was deep and luxurious. I loved the colors of the room. The desk was very convenient for my work. The complementary breakfast had many options. And, I loved the delicious Indian Food restaurant next door!! Last but not least, the front desk woman was very friendly and helpful!

Very clean, very comfortable beds, good check-in and staff, pretty good breakfast (bagels, toaster, jam peanut butter, good coffee, juice, western wrap and McMuffins to microwave) only complaint I have is that there is no room to butter bagels, or eat (one small table in registration area for breakfast). I would definitely stay here again.

I stayed there about 2 yrs ago, and was very impressed w the breakfast selection . This time around the only offering was muffins and delmonte fruit cups. Coffee was great, but didn’t see the juices until after the service when I checked out.

The hotel appears a bit dated, but I believe the beds are new. Beds were comfy. Rooms were clean. Staff are friendly and helpful. Great little restaurant, with home cooked like food, next door /attached.

The included breakfast was prepacked non food. Nothing fresh. The bagels on their package taste like chemicals. The package bars were also mass production. The pre package fruit salad was high fructose. Nothing was fresh!!!!

No complaints, The staff were the best from the house keeping to the front desk, amazing. We drove in from Fort Erie to Tillsonburg and as soon as we reached hotel parking lot, our car died. They allowed us to stay fews more hours the next day after check out, until CAA was able to take my wife, myself and vehicle back to Fort Erie. Anyhow, it was good to get the support when you needed it. And we got that from the hotel
