The gentleman at the front desk did not seem very happy to be doing his job. Was handed the key and told to have a good stay. Was told where our room was and where we could park only after having to ask thr clerk. After checking in and settling into our, I called the front desk asking for information on where to get ice. The same clerk said I could come to the restaurant to get some as the ice machine was broken. When I went to get ice I was only given enough ice for maybe two drinks. The clerk said the ice for the restaurant and was unable to give me more as I was not a paying customer of the restaurant. I told the clerk that was not fair or right. I should have been told at check in that if I needed ice that would be something the guest would need to go and buy. In the morning we phoned the front desk asking a noon check out. Was told by the same clerk "we need the room later." I wasnt asking for another full day, I was asking one extra hour. We were only given 30 additional minutes. Overall if there was a different clerk scheduled the experience would have been better.
