Lovely property, family run with great customer service. Many food options for breakfast (included) lunch and dinner at great prices and delicious cold local beer. Great pool, but despite umbrellas not a great deal of shade and one should be wary the despite the heat, in October the pool was quite freezing (or invigorating if that's your sort of thing). I struggled with the stairs so only left the compound once per day, would definitely get a car next time as the bus to Chania was almost always crowded. All in all it was a lovely 7 day break in the sunshine with my partner.

Chambre confortable. Bonne literie. Salle de bains pratique MAIS pas de porte pour fermer l'espace WC: juste un simple rideau... aucune intimité!! Hôtel calme, moderne et reposant. Vue sur la très belle piscine de l'hôtel et sur la mer en contrebas. Petit-déjeuner copieux INCROYABLEMENT delicieux avec des produits frais et variés sous forme de buffet. Parking gratuit.

Would highly recommend this hotel. My son recommended it after staying here with his girlfriend 2 years ago and we’ve just spent a wonderful week here with our sons, both in their twenties. The hotel has the most amazing view of the sea that takes your breath away. The food at the hotel is also very nice and the little touches like free water refills and loan of a beach towel for just 1e are what make this hotel just perfect. It’s great if you want to relax by the pool (with amazing views) - so peaceful. If you want to explore the bus service is excellent and v reasonable, either to Agia Marina (some amazing restaurants) or go into the beautiful and busy Chania. Such a great place to spend some chilled quality time as a family, will definitely be coming back. Ps the stairs are a good workout but worth it.

Hotel is very clean, parking out front or in the back underneath the stairs. Excellent views. Room service available. Short walk to restaurants, the beach and bus stop. Very clean pool and kiddie pool. Back stairs take you right down to the beach/street area. Friendly staff. Washer and dryer available downstairs.

The reneiris hotel is on a hillside overlooking the beach. The view is spectacular and sitting in the balcony each evening was a great experience. BOOK A ROOM WITH A VIEW!! The rooms are modern and well presented. Breakfast is served in the pool bar and is varied and of Good quality. Pool area is nice, lots of parasols and pool was just right (1.6m max depth)

Flott hotell med verdens hyggeligste personell. Uteområdet er finere en på bildene. Rommene var helt topp. Rengjøringen var også upåklagelig. Noe gå avstand til diverse spisesteder og shopping muligheter. 5-15 minutter. 97 trappetrinn opp fra gaten. Men ikke noe stor problem. Vi er kjempefornøyd!

George and his staff were very welcoming and hospitable. Breakfast was always fantastic with a lot of variety to keep everyone happy. Georgina cooked amazing eggs on demand and extremely friendly. Rooms were great and always clean. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come again.

Our second visit to this lovely hotel. This hotel never disappoints. The whole place is spotlessly clean. The entire staff work tirelessly to ensure everything is as it should be. The breakfast is a wonderful buffet and the meals served at the bar throughout the day are lovely if you dont fancy venturing out. The pool is amazing, especially as it was 43° when we arrived! The whole hotel has a very relaxed, chilled vibe which is great for unwinding. If you want a big lively hotel then, this isnt for you. Yes, there are a lot of steps down to the road, BUT, the stairs are staggered in stages so you can rest if you need to. I'd recommend a car as there is so much to see on the island & there is ample parking. Tours etc can be booked from the hotel and Georgios can always recommend places to explore if you fancy going it alone. Our 10 days just flew by. Would we go go back? DEFINATELY! And...the sunsets! Amazing!

The hotel was wonderful. The room was clean, modern and a great view of the ocean. The restaurant by the pool was affordable, large menu and delicious food. The man at the front desk was very friendly and welcoming. I would highly recommend staying here. It is family owned, affordable and lovely.

Wir hatten eine suite mit Blick Pool und Meer gebucht. Sehr gute Ausstattung, Schlafzimmer durch Schiebetür abtrennbar. Wohnraum mit Esstisch und 4 Stühlen sowie Spüle ausgestattet. Es gab einen Wasserkocher, leider kein Besteck noch Teller, die man aber ohne weiteres im Restaurant ausleihen konnte. Sehr viel Stauraum, 2 Fernseher mit vielen Programmen. Sehr gutes Essen im Restaurant. Mittags perfekt, abends ist es dort durch die grelle Beleuchtung nicht sehr gemütlich. Es war leider abends zu kalt, um draußen zu essen, aber dafür kann das Hotel nichts. Pool zu dieser Jahreszeit leider zu kalt. Wer nicht gut zu Fuß ist, dürfte Probleme haben, die 99 Stufen zum Hotel zu meistern. Wir haben uns daran gewöhnt. In der Nähe des Hotels gab es ein paar nette Lokale. Insgesamt haben wir fast überall gut gegessen. Portionen sehr groß, aber ein Gericht zu teilen war nie ein Problem

Spent 4 nights at this hotel. We'd booked a seaview room which was stunning. Room was quite small, no drawer space. Extremely comfortable bed. Very good air con. I believe all the rooms are twin beds. Breakfast was nice, bit haphazard when ordering eggs. Maybe required more fresh fruit and fresh orange juice We had lunch twice here, I had club sandwich twice, very tasty, my husband had a greek salad and a toastie. We also had a drink at sunset. Good prices. Free towels and free top up of water bottles.

The hotel has a nice pool area and pleseant views overlooking the coast line. The staff are pleasant and helpful. This made the stay more enjoyable. The room was nice and decently sized. The beds were comfortable, with medium firmness. Housekeeping did a good job cleaning the rooms everyday. The bathrooms are a little on the smaller side, however this was a minor inconvenience. The shower had good water pressure and had consistent warm water. The breakfast in the morning is nice with good options, however the food options remain pretty much consistent everyday. The location is fairly remote from the nearby towns of Agia Marina and Kato Galatas although they are both within walkable distance. Getting to Chania would require a 20 minute bus journey. Fortunately there is a bus stop nearby, which is accessible from the steps which lead down to the main road from the pool area. These steps however are long and steep in areas, so bear this in mind. Overall I was very pleased with my stay at the Renieris Hotel.

Fantastic hotel located on top of hill on the edge of town. Definitely worth paying a little extra to secure a sea view and sunset over the distant mountains. Hotel was exceptionally clean, staff were extremely friendly and buffet breakfast was excellent.

Amazing property, clean and tidy and the room had everything we needed. The owner of the property was extremely courteous and helpful and arranged everything from car hire to where we should go to maximise our few days in Crete. Would definitely stay here again!

This really does get a 10/10! The staff are amazing and make you feel like family, the view is unmatched, the food is great and extremely fair in price, the location is perfect and a walk to many things and a short drive to everything. The price point was amazing too, met a lot of people who keep coming back and I see why :)

George and his staff were very welcoming and hospitable. Breakfast was always fantastic with a lot of variety to keep everyone happy. Georgina cooked amazing eggs on demand and extremely friendly. Rooms were great and always clean. I really enjoyed my stay and would definitely come again.

Our second visit to this lovely hotel. This hotel never disappoints. The whole place is spotlessly clean. The entire staff work tirelessly to ensure everything is as it should be. The breakfast is a wonderful buffet and the meals served at the bar throughout the day are lovely if you dont fancy venturing out. The pool is amazing, especially as it was 43° when we arrived! The whole hotel has a very relaxed, chilled vibe which is great for unwinding. If you want a big lively hotel then, this isnt for you. Yes, there are a lot of steps down to the road, BUT, the stairs are staggered in stages so you can rest if you need to. I'd recommend a car as there is so much to see on the island & there is ample parking. Tours etc can be booked from the hotel and Georgios can always recommend places to explore if you fancy going it alone. Our 10 days just flew by. Would we go go back? DEFINATELY! And...the sunsets! Amazing!

For our first trip to Crete we decided to make Renieris hotel our home base as it was perfectly situated just outside of busy Chania and near a good beach and the major routes to the western part of the island. It was the best decision, as this little family-run hotel on a hill overlooking the beach is run with love, and they treat guests like royalty. The daily breakfast was huge and delicious, and the pool is wonderful. We highly recommend this affordable little bit of luxury on Crete.

We had an excellent stay! The staff was personable and helpful. Assisted with laundry and super accommodating. About 15 mins from downtown which was perfect for us. The hot spot beaches if interested Balos, etc are a little of a drive but totally doable we got up early and spent the day and then finished the evening near the hotel. 10/10 recommend!

Mycket fint o fräscht hotell med en fantastisk utsikt både mot hav och in mot land. Rent och snyggt, sköna sängar, mycket bra, god och varierad frukost. Lite svårt att hitta rätt väg till hotellet, ligger en bit upp på berget. Gångvägen ner mot huvudvägen, havet mycket lättare, en ganska lång trappa.

The hotel has a nice pool area and pleseant views overlooking the coast line. The staff are pleasant and helpful. This made the stay more enjoyable. The room was nice and decently sized. The beds were comfortable, with medium firmness. Housekeeping did a good job cleaning the rooms everyday. The bathrooms are a little on the smaller side, however this was a minor inconvenience. The shower had good water pressure and had consistent warm water. The breakfast in the morning is nice with good options, however the food options remain pretty much consistent everyday. The location is fairly remote from the nearby towns of Agia Marina and Kato Galatas although they are both within walkable distance. Getting to Chania would require a 20 minute bus journey. Fortunately there is a bus stop nearby, which is accessible from the steps which lead down to the main road from the pool area. These steps however are long and steep in areas, so bear this in mind. Overall I was very pleased with my stay at the Renieris Hotel.

The rooms are modern and well presented. Breakfast is served in the pool bar and is varied and of Good quality. Pool area is nice, lots of parasols and pool was just right (1.6m max depth)

Spent 4 nights at this hotel. We'd booked a seaview room which was stunning. Room was quite small, no drawer space. Extremely comfortable bed. Very good air con. I believe all the rooms are twin beds. Breakfast was nice, bit haphazard when ordering eggs. Maybe required more fresh fruit and fresh orange juice We had lunch twice here, I had club sandwich twice, very tasty, my husband had a greek salad and a toastie. We also had a drink at sunset. Good prices. Free towels and free top up of water bottles.

This place was excellent. The Host was very kind and the breakfast is out of this world. They make iced coffees and other premium coffee beverages in the morning for you at no charge and there is a convenient walkway to get to some of the best restaurants in the area. Would stay again!!!!

The experience at Renieris was a very positive one. We had a great time. The hotel is very clean. The Staff is very friendly. We had several options for breakfast as vegans. The Greek coffee is fantastic! Nice view from the room, pool and breakfast room. I highly recommend Renieris if you plan to visit Chania.

Staff was incredible. The hotel is really good and has a calm vibe. There was always spots available around the pool. Walking distance to the sea, but a long staircase which can be difficult for older people or disabled people. We were super satisfied with our stay.

This is a superb hotel that is just outside of the main, busy strip. It is also high up with a great vantage point for the sea town. There are steps that lead straight down to the road, the beach and a bus stop with services going to Chania Old town. The food is delicious - good sized portions, for a reasonable price. The breakfast is also good quality with a good choice of savoury, sweet items. The coffee and teas are very good quality with a good selection. We were staying in a family suite that offered a balcony great view of the pool and the sea. Beds were very comfortable, rooms were contemporary modern with a small kitchenette. The bathroom was a generous size and again, all good. Staff were always on hand to support. Friendly and amenable. Overall, me, missus and my young adult kids were very happy with the stay. If we return too Crete, it will be a default choice.
