We had an amazing stay at the Hampton Inn & Suites: San Juan. The daily INCLUDED breakfast was amazing. Our little ones absolutely LOVED it. The pool and hot tub were so clean and so nice to enjoy. And even though it’s so close to the airport, unless you’re out of your room… you barely hear the planes. It’s also great that they have a later checkout time than most places (check out is at noon). The hotel itself is very clean and tidy. Any staff members we interacted with were very kind, friendly, and offered a service with a smile. Absolutely no complaints about our stay…. Or at all. About the area…. It may look sketchy…. And it absolutely CAN be. However, we travel to Puerto Rico about 3 times a year and we prefer to stay in Isla Verde/Carolina. This property is within walking distance of so many restaurants, shops, and the beach.
