The building was dirty upon arrival not as seen in pictures the location was horrible very ghetto and has alot of trash in the streets we took more than 40 minutes to check in and once we got checked in we changed 5 rooms before eventually giving up and settling in one of the upgraded rooms because we found dirty sheets in some then another had dust and mold on the lamp shades, next day we had to change rooms again because the doors didn't lock which was very unsafe, one morning we looked out the window and saw 3 people having sex in the pool of the nearby hotel very disturbing especially if a child had looked out there, we were placed on the 8 floor with no Wi-Fi for the entire 10 day trip very disappointing because we couldn't keep in contact with the outside world, our room was placed next to the utility room and we heard all sorts of noises coming from the pump etc, the breakfast was a bit limited not much of a variety and only had artificial orange juice nothing else, they didn't have a bell boy to assist with the luggage on arrival or departure, only plus was that the house keeping was extremely excellent our house keeper was the best and also the front desk receptionist was very helpful and accommodating Enma and Indira.... I won't recommend this hotel unless they resolve all these issues paint and repair the entire building and not to forgetting the pool was horrible my daughter was disappointed with the condition, I give it 3 / 10

This is the worst hotel I've been in Panama City. My room wasn't available so the gave another one with 2 beds, so I went to the room and it was occupied, then they gave another one and it was occupied too. Their system is broken, they don't know which rooms are empty or clean. Finally, when I got an empty room, it has no towels so I needed to go down to the front desk because they never answer the phone in the reception. Next day I realized towels and sheets had stains, so disgusting. The building looks dirty, old and smells funny. Some walls are leaking water front the A/C. Internet doesn't work in the rooms, only in the lobby and restaurants area. They gave me a free meal after complaining twice in the front desk. I know hotels in this area are not the best but this is an international hotel chain, so it is not fair you charge more for an hotel in so poor conditions, I’ve been in cheaper hotels in the neighborhood and the offer better facilities and service. I've been in other Faranda hotels in different countries and this is not a nice place. Shame on you.

Es un lugar que en fotos se ve mejor y en persona es feo y antiguo no tienen parqueo en la propiedad si no a la vuelta pero lo cual es incómodo caminar hacia y desde hotel la comida no tiene un buen sabor y no tienen muchas opciones la habitación el agua caliente mucho tiempo para que sea caliente televisión antigua Cortinas viejas mal pintado el extractor del baño hace mucho ruido de verdad crei diferente este hotel no lo recomendaría

The property was very nice. It seems it’s under renovation as they had some signs showing the next stage of building. The rooms were nice and looks like they just plan on making them a bit more modern over the next few months. Lobby was very welcoming and it’s not far from the waterfront

I had to think long and hard before I gave my honest opinion on this hotel. Overall, the hotel has an average offering. Attention to details is lacking in ALL areas: The check-in process, it took 3 persons to check me in. The breakfast (buffet), I stayed there for 7 nights and was served powdered eggs and hot dogs 6 mornings repeatedly. Room service: Why was I finding stands of long hair on my pillowcases and seeing bottle caps under the bed on the first day of check-in and upon departure the bottle caps were still under the bed? (Which tells me that the rooms are not thoroughly cleaned when guest change. In terms of the location, the hotel is directly opposite a 24-hour grocery store which is perfect to go get your necessities. There is a casino next door as well for entertainment, the boardwalk is a 5 min walk from the hotel (must go at nights for an amazing view) and a police station is a block away. 👍 The roof deck experience was very questionable. From construction happening on the top floor, they could have blocked the windows so customers wouldn't have to see it. The pool didn't appear to be that sanitary as the water level was below the jets and there was a dark line around the top. Furthermore, seeing one of the general workers sweeping around the pool with a broom to move the water from the rainfall and seeing the water going in the pool was certainly not that inviting at all. On a positive note, the view from the rooftop is EXCELLENT at night.

No me ofrecieron el Parqueo en sus instalaciones, solo el primer día después tuve que parquear afuera en la calle y sufrí de robos de antena y cubrearos de el auto que rente y tuve que pagar casi $500 y el seguro que ustedes me ofrecieron tampoco me ha dado contestación y no me ha cubierto ese gasto

La ubicación del hotel es terrible, la zona es muy fea y peligrosa, la higiene del cuarto y baño es deficiente, el aire de la habitación sonaba muy fuerte y casi ni enfriaba, no lo recomiendo! No suelo hacer reseñas pero de verdad que mi estadía fue incómoda en ese hotel
La ubicación del hotel es terrible, la zona es muy fea y peligrosa, la higiene del cuarto y baño es deficiente, el aire de la habitación sonaba muy fuerte y casi ni enfriaba, no lo recomiendo! No suelo hacer reseñas pero de verdad que mi estadía fue incómoda en ese hotel

From construction happening on the top floor, they could have blocked the windows so customers wouldn't have to see it. The pool didn't appear to be that sanitary as the water level was below the jets and there was a dark line around the top. Furthermore, seeing one of the general workers sweeping around the pool with a broom to move the water from the rainfall and seeing the water going in the pool was certainly not that inviting at all. On a positive note, the view from the rooftop is EXCELLENT at night.
I had to think long and hard before I gave my honest opinion on this hotel. Overall, the hotel has an average offering. Attention to details is lacking in ALL areas: The check-in process, it took 3 persons to check me in. The breakfast (buffet), I stayed there for 7 nights and was served powdered eggs and hot dogs 6 mornings repeatedly. Room service: Why was I finding stands of long hair on my pillowcases and seeing bottle caps under the bed on the first day of check-in and upon departure the bottle caps were still under the bed? (Which tells me that the rooms are not thoroughly cleaned when guest change. In terms of the location, the hotel is directly opposite a 24-hour grocery store which is perfect to go get your necessities. There is a casino next door as well for entertainment, the boardwalk is a 5 min walk from the hotel (must go at nights for an amazing view) and a police station is a block away. 👍 The roof deck experience was very questionable. From construction happening on the top floor, they could have blocked the windows so customers wouldn't have to see it. The pool didn't appear to be that sanitary as the water level was below the jets and there was a dark line around the top. Furthermore, seeing one of the general workers sweeping around the pool with a broom to move the water from the rainfall and seeing the water going in the pool was certainly not that inviting at all. On a positive note, the view from the rooftop is EXCELLENT at night.

Hotel Faranda Soloy in Panama was clean and had helpful staff. However, rooms lacked basic amenities like bottled water and a microwave. The breakfast menu wasn’t suitable for me—rice and beef liver didn’t feel like a good choice. Additionally, the surrounding area felt high-risk, so caution is advised when going out. El hotel difiere mucho de las fotos, es antiguo, el desayuno no se sirve en el restaurante sino en uno de sus salones, el bufete tiene pocas opciones, la comida es muy salada. La zona en la que se encuentra es riesgosa para caminar. Hay bares y sexoservidoras en los alrededores. La música dura toda la noche lo que no permite el descanso. En definitiva no volvería a hospedarme en este lugar.

The front desk staff (all of them) were very friendly, helpful and responsive to our needs. Although there was a huge line-up to get checked in, we were able to leave our luggage (through a ticketing system) and return to check-in later. This was super helpful because we had nowhere to store them until the rooms were ready. We had a problem with the pipes in the bathroom and they got it fixed. The rooms are a little dated and the wifi didn't work in my room (but did just outside the room) but overall, the hotel was a good clean and safe. One thing to note is that the hotel is advertised as having airport transfer. This is not true. The hotel does not have any transfer to or from the airport. This was disappointing because it was one of the main reasons we booked here. This needs to be removed from the amenities. They serve a hearty complimentary breakfast (eggs-boiled and fried, sausage, pancakes, juice, fruit, cereal, rice) which is good when you are on a budget. En general bien. Pero mal el Internet, durante mi estancia no pude acceder a la red WiFi y no tuvieron la capacidad de resolverme. Deben tener más opciones accesibles de conexión como por ejemplo códigos QR y no tener que estar accesando de manera manual, así como una red que abarque todo el edificio y no por zonas.

O hotel é bem localizado e a equipe de funcionários muito atenciosos. Porém, trata-se de um hotel antigo, então se você ficar entre o 1 e o 5 andar, os banheiros são velhos, praticamente não tem toalhas, ar condicionado não funciona direito .... meu quarto o ar não funcionava de jeito nenhum e nos mudaram para o 9 andar... parecia outro hotel. Quarto novo, banheiro estuturado etc.. Café da manhã tinha frutas, ovo, pães e frango cozido, atendendo as necessidades.

This is the worst hotel I've been in Panama City. My room wasn't available so the gave another one with 2 beds, so I went to the room and it was occupied, then they gave another one and it was occupied too. Their system is broken, they don't know which rooms are empty or clean. Finally, when I got an empty room, it has no towels so I needed to go down to the front desk because they never answer the phone in the reception. Next day I realized towels and sheets had stains, so disgusting. The building looks dirty, old and smells funny. Some walls are leaking water front the A/C. Internet doesn't work in the rooms, only in the lobby and restaurants area. They gave me a free meal after complaining twice in the front desk. I know hotels in this area are not the best but this is an international hotel chain, so it is not fair you charge more for an hotel in so poor conditions, I’ve been in cheaper hotels in the neighborhood and the offer better facilities and service. I've been in other Faranda hotels in different countries and this is not a nice place. Shame on you.

Tuve problemas con el check in, dias anteriores a mi viaje notifique que llegaria a la madrugada y que me reservaran un early check in, al cual mencionaron que lo iban a anotar para que lo tengan presente cuando llegara, el dia que llegue resulta que el recepcionista en turno ni siquiera tenian conocimiento de ello , lo primero que dijo era que a vuelva a las 3pm siendo 5am y como turistas sin conocer, no había nada abierto a esa hora, luego que regrese a las 10am para ver si algo se desocupaba, y finalmente me dijo que si tenian una que era una suite y que tenia que pagar un valor adicional por cada noche, yo sugerí que por favor me ayudara con esta habitación por ese dia y luego al dia siguente nos podia cambiar a la habitación reservada con anterioridad, pero dijo que no !! O era la suite o era regresar a las 3pm. A la final pague termine pagando el triple por una habitación igual se sencilla. Y para terminar en la publicación decia que incluye transporte hotel aeropuerto pero cuando les escribí dijeron que era servicio aparte por el cual también no lo mencionaba en las descripciones. Asi que si sugiero mas atención a los mensajes de los huespedes y tomarlo con mayor seriedad, y detallar en la pagina lo que realmente ofrecen. Pésima experiencia para iniciar mi viaje!!

The property is good with a good rate,my only issue is the breakfast option can be a bit wider,and also the language barrier makes communication with staff very different,I just feel as a hotel that welcome guest from all over should make English a priority especially at the front desk and in the restaurant for easy communication...with that being said some of the staff are extremely kind and patient with me and dmy group, just to note there's a 24hr store next door that sell everything you can possibly need...thanks much will definitely stay here again.

The room was clean,staff was attentive even with the language difference,breakfast could have had more options,the room could have been more equipped with towels etc,basic amenities,the area did not seem safe at night time,so i will advise to not take walks at night. Its in close proximity to all the major malls and night life. There is a 24h groceries and convenience shopping within that same complex from appliances, devices, clothing for all, school supplies and school uniforms and a pharmacy (small but will.have what you need). Local fruits can be found the street over. It was an overall good experience would sure do it again.

The property is good with a good rate,my only issue is the breakfast option can be a bit wider,and also the language barrier makes communication with staff very different,I just feel as a hotel that welcome guest from all over should make English a priority especially at the front desk and in the restaurant for easy communication...with that being said some of the staff are extremely kind and patient with me and dmy group, just to note there's a 24hr store next door that sell everything you can possibly need...thanks much will definitely stay here again.

Hotel Faranda Soloy in Panama was clean and had helpful staff. However, rooms lacked basic amenities like bottled water and a microwave. The breakfast menu wasn’t suitable for me—rice and beef liver didn’t feel like a good choice. Additionally, the surrounding area felt high-risk, so caution is advised when going out. Overall, decent value with room for improvement.

What I didn't like was that there wasn't enough options for breakfast and that they could've given more fruit options as well. Other than that it was lovely. I definitely recommend staying at this hotel.

The front desk staff (all of them) were very friendly, helpful and responsive to our needs. Although there was a huge line-up to get checked in, we were able to leave our luggage (through a ticketing system) and return to check-in later. This was super helpful because we had nowhere to store them until the rooms were ready. We had a problem with the pipes in the bathroom and they got it fixed. The rooms are a little dated and the wifi didn't work in my room (but did just outside the room) but overall, the hotel was a good clean and safe. One thing to note is that the hotel is advertised as having airport transfer. This is not true. The hotel does not have any transfer to or from the airport. This was disappointing because it was one of the main reasons we booked here. This needs to be removed from the amenities. They serve a hearty complimentary breakfast (eggs-boiled and fried, sausage, pancakes, juice, fruit, cereal, rice) which is good when you are on a budget. Overall, our short stay here as a group of 5 was a good experience (apart from the airport transfer).

I came to Panamá to bury my brother and some family members that live in Panamá came by to check on me and front desk staff wanted to restrict how many family members could come by to say hello. Not everyone came the same day. There was a water pipe that busted, there was no water for most of the day. You could see they were working on the plumbing, yet they lied to the guest that it was city. My room was flooded due to rain. Will not be returning there.
