It was awful the rooms smelled like bug spray there were roaches in all three rooms and people were literally doing drugs in the hallways staff was always out of the office when u need them and no rooms had any microwaves or refrigerator in them like it claims on line you had to walk all the way to the front side of building to use either and it was a little scary

The staff was kind and welcoming. The property is all rather worn down, but it's clean and safe, and I appreciate being able to bring my dog for free!

My room did not have a microwave nor a refrigerator

First should have read the amenities a little better before booking. No refrigerator, microwave, or in-room coffee maker. Saw a couple of roaches. 4 cops pulled up to a room at the same time. I wouldn't stay again.

I liked that we had a parking spot right outside our room and didn't have to use stairs. Room was clean but beds were not all that comfortable but for the price and our needs it was sufficient for one night

It’s definitely rough looking in the outside and inside , the room smelled bad ( stale ) and the heater didn’t work at all , there was NO microwave or fridge in the room . The front desk woman was nice , she waived the 50$ deposit for me since it would take up to 7 days to be refunded and i didn’t have 50$ to spare .

Staff was rude. Place had a smell. It was extremely dog friendly. Dog Motel.

One of the mattresses was lower to the ground and one could feel springs. There were numerous small roaches running around in the room and bathroom throughout our stay. There is no refrigerator in the room. There is no breakfast.

No microwave or fridge in room. But room was very clean and no bugs. The area was just ok. It was what was expected for the price.

The plumbing was awful. Sink wouldn't drain, shower wouldn't drain, toilet barely flushed and immediately clogged. And the best part, there were roaches. I would have asked for my money back if the staff spoke English and communicated better. Upon check out I tried to speak to the female desk representative and she acting as if she couldn't understand.

Checked in and made it to the room. Insects large and small were crawling all over the floors and walls, there was hair all over the bed, the bathroom was also covered in hair. Immediately walked out and canceled my stay there.

Bugs are bad

It doesn't look how it look on the pictures it was mildew all over the bathroom it was roaches all over the hotel room the refrigerator was nasty roaches was coming from the microwave roaches coming down the wall in the ceiling the sheet was not white they were tan with burnt holes and stains this very disgusting I tried to go get my money back they would not give me a refund

Infested with roaches. They were crawling everywhere. My group has 3 rooms booked and every single room had roaches. Not just one or two, atleast 10 crawling around during the night time.

Filthy room, but hey no living bugs. We got kicked out halfway thru our stay bc of renovations and moved to another part of the hotel. Lucky we caught it or I’m not sure? Would our stuff have been moved while we were out? My thing is they knew Reno was happening but asked me at check in if that was the floor I wanted to stay on. Literally try any other budget motel than this one. Floors sticky and brown with dirt. Something like poop on bathroom floor, only one towel, sheets covered in cig burns

The first room had water dripping from the ceiling and smelled like mold. Second room had a bug problem i saw at least ten bugs that i had to kill.

I just had to kill roaches all night

There was no cold water in sink, there was a dirty cup between 2 cups in plastic, the 2 bars of soap were wet....

The outside was sketchy at best Dirty, dismal, in need of of obvious repair. The room was clean, it faced the highway and NOISY. The price was right for limited budget travelers. Take the good with the bad.

I was given room 228 after check in. Terrible shower, no hot water. Door lock doesn't work. I was moved to room 208 the second day. It was much better. Bathroom was small, but it was clean and there's hot water. Door lock works most of the time with the card key, which needs reprogramming. Parking lot was well lit and the staff was friendly and cooperative. It's a budget motel, don't expect too much.

The room smelt the bathroom ceiling is got mold on the ceiling. It’s not safe or healthy for the guest sorry but I would never stay here again. This place needs to be repainted and it needs a whole new facelift inside and out.

It was clean-ish in the room. Refrigerator didn't work. No towels were in the room and was too tired to track any down so dried with shirt. Room smelled a little like stale smoke, whole outside area smelled like weed

Shower stall had huge crack with some kind of black sealer on it.

The only saving grace for this motel was that the beds are VERY comfortable. Bathrooms are in need of remodel, outside needs tons of deferred maintenance completed. Absolutely wont be staying here again.

Booked a room with king bed on ground floor but didn’t get it. They put us in a room on second floor up stairs with two full size beds. Will not stay at this place again ever.

When i arrived to check in there was no one there. I waited and said hello. But didn't see anyone. Finally after knocking on the window a bunch someone appeared. And he was not happy. Very rude. The area around the motel seemed a little rough. Make sure you lock your doors and take all valuables inside your room. The bed comforter had rips in it. Not all the lights work. The towels and shower were not clean. There were bugs crawling everywhere.

I got a room on line got to motel they wanted me to pay $50 extra room was $58 I ask for a receipt for the $50 they told i couldn't have one i call the police,the made the give a refund back i that receipt and ask me to leave with him and got another somewhere else I never got my money back

very bad, can't sleep at night because of loud noises all night, when | put down a deposit of $50 but when I checked out they said they would pay it to my credit card, but when I checked the bank I didn’t see it I called them but they said it might take 14 days, I don't understand that it's my deposit but when I checked out they didn't pay it and kept my money, that's Not right

The smell of smoke and marajuana hits you as soon as you open the door. I sprayed disinfectant spray and then fabric refresher and it masked it enough to deal with it. We weren’t in the room much so we dealt with it. There was blood on the shower wall that my daughter cleaned with apple cider vinegar. We requested towels because we had 1 at check in. We called to get some but they told us none were Available. The next morning I checked to see if there were towels and they said after 11 am. Went back at 3 pm. Still no towels. Told us to check back and I did call before coming back to the room and they said there are no towels. My daughter expressed her disappointment and was hung up on. We ended up stopping and buying towels so we could shower. It was going on day 3 no towels. He was very very rude. The next day I saw the cleaning staff out cleaning a room so I went up and asked because we were also out of toilet paper. The man came out of the room like he was annoyed and said they’re no towels. They will be done at 3 pm. Finally at 5:00 we got towels only because the front desk gave them to us. I’m sorry I didn’t get the young man’s name but he was a very nice kid. He had Dreads and wore an Alabama baseball cap every time I saw him he was very helpful and kind. He finally went out of his way to get us towels. The front desk man’s name is Naranjan and he is very rude and unhelpful. The place outside is like a garage dump. The bed underneath was ripped. The floors dirty

Check in & Check was easy & Great. People were friendly & courteous. No wash cloths & towels in room but when called wash cloths & towels delivered. Towels were very small in size we went out Saturday & purchased 2 body towels for our use. No TV remote in room & they had to find one. My mattress was not comfortable however wife 's bed she slept like a baby. Room was clean & appeared to have been recently renovated.

This hotel was located 6 minutes from where our destination was. It's your basic hotel. We didn't to much like that they didn't offer a breakfast but knew that going into the booking. Area overall was friendly, didn't run into many people in the hotel, bathroom and beds was cleaned. Didn't see any lurking solicitators or drug activity. Easily hooked up my firestick without issues. Building must be well insulated as I didn't have to turn the heater on at all last night while it was in the mid 30's. The building stayed quite warm but not hot.

The motel is great, it’s old, and showing its age, so the “Karens” among us will ALWAYS find something to complain about…. Something for everyone HaHaHa. The surrounding neighborhood is in decline and that’s not really fixable.

This place needs to be bulldozed down. After 10 hours on the road, we were ready for a relaxing evening to rest up for the following day's road trip, but unfortunately that didn't happen. First when I entered the lobby at 8:30pm I found the door to be lock with a man sitting on a chair inside and all I could smell was marijuana. I had to be served through a bullet proof protection glass between myself and the lady behind the counter. That was my first sign of the horror that was yet to come. When I went back to our vehicle, I told my husband to wait while I went to check out the room because I had a suspension that it was going to look as bad as the outside. The outside stairwell smelled like urine. The stairs themselves were falling apart which made me uneasy climbing them. When I got to the room it was so dirty and smelled of smoke. The mattress looked to be at least 15 years old and grossly dirty. The windows to all the rooms looked like they were cleaned with muddy water. Needless to say, we did not stay at this run down dump. I wish I read the reviews before booking. This place is not fit to rent and should be shut down. I am sure if I looked hard enough in the stairwell, I may have found a dirty needle or 2 and we were sure we saw a hooker leaving one room with a client. Disgusting was not even close to how bad it was .. STAY AWAY FOR YOUR OWN WELLBEING AND SAFTEY

Nice room for the price that you pay. Seems like the police harass the hotel customers around the area because of the kind of economic class that this hotel and the surrounding hotels attract due to the lower prices that are available at the hotels in this area. Convenient to shopping, restaurants, and downtown Birmingham.

Not a good area, police came 3 times during the night. Smell of weed all night, noisy tenants. Cannot drive around the building, this was difficult with a uhual truck and trailer
