I just need a place to sleep for the night, so it was fine. But the room smelled like mildew, and they were doing renovations, and there were rolls of carpet just laying out in the parking lot.

This was a good place to sleep only nothing else was good about it. The breakfast was terrible with bagels, toast, waffles and microwave sausage. The side doors to the hotel were open because there was no locks on the doors. The pool area was closed. Management stated that they were remodeling the place but I could not tell. As you remove stuff you supposed to replace it especially door locks for the customers safety.

Hotel is run-down, needs significant upgrades - left a negative impression of the Ramada/Wyndham brand. Auto-door at entrance didn't work properly, parking lot entrance door was not secure (doesn't lock). Old dirty carpet in hallway, bathroom door sticks & surface edges are shredding, walls need painting, no TV info card available & channels didn't match up to Spectrum on-screen guide. No info on phone to call desk - tried 0, which rang twice & connected but no one spoke or answered any questions. Sink only ran cold water until we crawled under to turn on the hot. Workout room: treadmill & exercise machine didn't work. The only dumbbells sets were 35 & 45 lbs. Breakfast - waffle maker & syrup, bread & bagels with butter & jelly & cream cheese packets, yogurt cups, past-ripe bananas, juice cups, coffee (no tea). Positives: Quiet area close to interstates. Staff at check-in was nice & efficient. Bed was comfortable. Shower was nice, with good water pressure. With the $99+ tax/fees, we expected better. Will not stay there again.

Check in was friendly, but when we got to “our” room there were two men already staying there. Someone changed rooms the night before and was not correctly entered in the system. The elevator was small, outdated, noisy, rough, and had a hot electrical smell. In the room the tv, refrigerator, coffeemaker, and microwave (that did not work) had only two electrical outlets available and furniture had to be moved to reach them. In the breakfast area only one of the three microwaves worked, but it took triple the time it should to even reheat coffee. The pool was green with a sign that it was closed by the health department.

The ladies working front desk were very nice and friendly. The pictures need updated. Maybe a pic or two of the hallway carpet, or the "ice/vending area" which was basically a closet with an ice maker. Or the luxurious staircase in the lobby that takes you to the second floor, where just as you step off of the stairs you encounter jagged nails sticking up from the trim.Stairs are needed since the elevator doesn't work. Oh, and just try to leave there to go to any of the attractions listed. Such a disaster..

This hotel is extremely run down. Large rolls of discarded carpet in random locations of the parking lot. Parking lot is littered with empty and broken beer cans and bottles. Construction crews staying at the hotel are in the parking lot at 7am blasting music & drinking. Woke us up boh days. It smells terrible. The room wasnt much better. There was a window to our room which opened completely that we were never warned of and it was left unlocked. The bathtub appears to have been painted in an attempt.to cover up stains. The tub was filthy.

Nothing outstanding but for a short stay it was ok. Hard time finding the location. Better direction our needed. The fact that new carpet was being installed MADE IT UNSAFE for room 234 and others. You had to step up and over to enter and exit.

The pool area was not clean or safe. The pool was not clean, the area around the pool had broken cement all around it & the safety bar to go into the pool was broken. Needless to say we did not swim. There was broken tile in the bathroom along with cockroaches scattering on the bathroom floor, found a baggie of paraphernalia under the bed while recovering our belongings before check out. Only good thing was the staff was very friendly. WILL NOT BE STAYING THERE AGAIN!

Hall ways smelled like weed. Ordered pizza and as soon as we got it seen a huge roach heading towards our food then seen a smaller one later on climbing on the wall and later discovered a dried dead one in the bathroom by the sink and then another baby one by the ironing board. Tv had lines in it and the cable or what ever it is sucks couldn't even find any cartoons or anything for my daughter to watch. Breakfast was gross if u want to call it breakfast biscuits where over cooked no waffles cause thing that held the batter was broken but there was a guy eating a waffle when we got down there and they had bread but no way to toast it bagels where old and partly frozen and no way to toast them cause the toaster was broken if u wanted cereal u had to ask for it and it was in the back and they got it for u and just brought u a bowl of cereal and container of milk. The little store they have behind the desk was almost not existent it had 5 chocolate bars 3 bags of chips and Tylenol and playing cards and no prices posted. Water tasted gross. Never did find the ice machine. Fridge had black mold on the door

Ten minutes after settling into our room we saw a bedbug crawling on the pillow. I asked the receptionist for a different room, which he gave us. After settling into this second room I went to the bathroom and here found a nice size cockroach chilling on the wall. No longer wanting to stay, i asked the receptionist for a refund, he replied, “I can’t do that, man.” If you don’t mind bedbugs or roaches, the place isn’t too bad I guess.
Ten minutes after settling into our room we saw a bedbug crawling on the pillow. I asked the receptionist for a different room, which he gave us. After settling into this second room I went to the bathroom and here found a nice size cockroach chilling on the wall. No longer wanting to stay, i asked the receptionist for a refund, he replied, “I can’t do that, man.” If you don’t mind bedbugs or roaches, the place isn’t too bad I guess.

BLUF: Despite the valiant efforts of the day-to-day cleaning staff, this hotel is old, smelly, and broken-down. Don’t stay here. Details: I spent one fitful night here while tending to a relative at Saint Ann’s Hospital. It is the only walkable hotel from the hospital. The sheets were clean, the bed was well made, the towels were clean and creatively folded, and the coffee basket stocked. At the same time, this hotel still provided small vials of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, mouthwash, and two bars of soap. These were neatly arranged; testimony to the cleaning staff’s commitment to play a catchy tune on the deck of this obviously sinking ship. Now let’s get to the problems. The hotel smells bad. Someone was smoking weed in another room on the way to my room. My room (137) smells bad. The paint is peeling. The chest drawer handles are broken. The sheets and blankets are thin. Ants are crawling on the nightstand. The bathroom door doesn’t shut. All the lightbulbs are the drabbest sickening yellow compact fluorescent. Where the paint is not peeling, the previous painters did not use tape, so every outlet and fixture has paint on it; the sink has paint drops on it. The AC in the gym doesn’t work. The treadmill in the gym doesn’t work (I went for a run outside). There are no towels in the towel cabinet of the gym (Am I the only one who uses hotel gyms?!). The whole experience was like a hotel stay crafted by a knowledgeable enemy bent on making me miserable.

You get what you pay for. It is run down and not very clean. Massive garbage cans overflowing in the hallways. Smells bad. In our first room there was a huge pile of ants covering god knows what, so we moved rooms. Linens seemed clean though. Guy at the front desk was either very shy or very rude.

This property is absolutely horrible. I don’t know how they’re in business. The rooms reek, carpet stained & ripped, furniture & bed broken. Bedding stained. The entire room including bathroom was very dirty.

First getting there I had another form to fill out. Lots of info they should have had already. Also bottom line said sign here that if room not cancelled with in 20 min of checking in then no refunds could be given. I walked in my room. Immediately knew I wasn’t staying. Firstly the hotel smelled of old wet carpet. My rooms carpet was the same with white spots on the ground. The tub was dirty. Hair was in it and room felt unclean. I wish hotels.com would display if the property is privately owned or corp.

Our room had paint falling off the walls in the bathroom. The toilet was loose from the floor. Every time we stood up the toilet would rock. The room just looked worn out. The carpets were dirty in the hallway. Probably would not go back there.

Large smelly stain right in front of the only elevator, no housekeeping for my for night stay, thin walls so you can great noisy neighbors.

After I checked in, I went to my room. The decor was very drab. It looked like a low rent motel somewhere in the Midwest and next to nowhere. The hot water never turned hot in the shower. It stayed cold for 15 minutes. However, the water in the bathroom sink was scolding hot. When I called the front desk, they were basically unconcerned and said they would have someone “check into it.” I got dressed and checked out immediately and canceled the reservation. They still have not refunded me my money for the five days. I had already scheduled to be there. Do not go to a Ramada hotel. It’s like going somewhere in a Third World country. Actually that’s an insult with our country hotel. Some of those were better than where I was at the Ramada Hotel.

The hotel is a little outdated and could be cleaner. The hot water was only semi hot for one person, the 2nd shower had all cold, manager said maintenance was working on it, but day 2, same thing happened. We paid for the jacuzzi suite and it was ok, but will not come back.

Was really looking forward to hot shower but the water was never truly hot. It was just kinda warm at best for a few moments at a time. Front desk said they fixed it and that nothing was wrong. Cleanliness was average, could be better. Room needs an update for sure. At least it was quiet and the bed was decent.

On the way to Columbus, about an hour before check in, I received a call from the hotel saying that they were overbooked and my reservations were cancelled. I reserved 3 rooms 3 weeks in advance and they were all cancelled. The hotel offered no consideration or help to find a new hotel. They said that because I booked through expedia and didnt pay in advance, i was the first reservation to get bumped. We were there for a concert and now had no place to stay. Because of the size of the concert, most places were full. We ended up paying over 4 times more for the 3 rooms. Lesson learned. I will never book through expedia again. It was a horrible experiance.

I made our reservations a year ago for this trip. I have a band and we traveled from Detroit to the Columbus area to play a wedding, so this was a business trip. A day before our stay, I called the hotel to comfirm everything and that we'd be checking in late. When we checked in after our wedding job, they didn't have the rooms I reserved and some of the rooms only had one bed, but our reservations clearly stated that each room was to have two beds. Then they tried to upcharge me for two rooms being jacuzzi suites, which was not my fault and I shouldn't have to pay that. When I told them that I'd made our reservations a year ago I got nothing but blank stares from everyone that works there. The hotel in general is dated in décor, and pictures and signs hanging on the walls all over the hotel are crooked. Everything hanging on the wall behind the front desk was crooked and the tv wasn't even straight on the wall in my room. The drain in the tub in my room was broken, so when I took a shower the tub started to fill up. The parking lot was filthy and it made you really wonder what kind of place you were staying at. I would not recommend this hotel.

I cannot put my finger on what I liked. It did feel like the mosy recent painting was rushed and corners cut. There were overall cleanliness issues (dust bunnies, fans not dusted…). Although the breakfast was a nice addition, the variety of choices was limited. I do understand that there is a cost in adding breakfast items. The staff was exceptional, they were friendly and informative. I felt any interaction was thoughtful and completely answered. All were professional, and what i would want in employees.

Older property. Obvious from facilities. Found out it’s in a less than great part of Columbus from my retired Columbus Police cousin. Breakfast was okay. No problems after getting bath towels we needed. But probably a one time only stay at this property. Annoyed that I paid full room charges at booking several weeks earlier, not upon arrival.

Hotel is run-down, needs significant upgrades - left a negative impression of the Ramada/Wyndham brand. Auto-door at entrance didn't work properly, parking lot entrance door was not secure (doesn't lock). Old dirty carpet in hallway, bathroom door sticks & surface edges are shredding, walls need painting, no TV info card available & channels didn't match up to Spectrum on-screen guide. No info on phone to call desk - tried 0, which rang twice & connected but no one spoke or answered any questions. Sink only ran cold water until we crawled under to turn on the hot. Workout room: treadmill & exercise machine didn't work. The only dumbbells sets were 35 & 45 lbs. Breakfast - waffle maker & syrup, bread & bagels with butter & jelly & cream cheese packets, yogurt cups, past-ripe bananas, juice cups, coffee (no tea). Positives: Quiet area close to interstates. Staff at check-in was nice & efficient. Bed was comfortable. Shower was nice, with good water pressure. With the $99+ tax/fees, we expected better. Will not stay there again.

I left an hour after i checked in. My room door didnt lock and this hotel is in a very bad area of columbus. The hotel itself is very run down and poorly maintained. Carpet in the lobby was thread bare, the whole hotel smelled stale, the room seemed clean but the door not locking was the end of it for me. I found another hotel.

BLUF: Despite the valiant efforts of the day-to-day cleaning staff, this hotel is old, smelly, and broken-down. Don’t stay here. Details: I spent one fitful night here while tending to a relative at Saint Ann’s Hospital. It is the only walkable hotel from the hospital. The sheets were clean, the bed was well made, the towels were clean and creatively folded, and the coffee basket stocked. At the same time, this hotel still provided small vials of shampoo, conditioner, body wash, mouthwash, and two bars of soap. These were neatly arranged; testimony to the cleaning staff’s commitment to play a catchy tune on the deck of this obviously sinking ship. Now let’s get to the problems. The hotel smells bad. Someone was smoking weed in another room on the way to my room. My room (137) smells bad. The paint is peeling. The chest drawer handles are broken. The sheets and blankets are thin. Ants are crawling on the nightstand. The bathroom door doesn’t shut. All the lightbulbs are the drabbest sickening yellow compact fluorescent. Where the paint is not peeling, the previous painters did not use tape, so every outlet and fixture has paint on it; the sink has paint drops on it. The AC in the gym doesn’t work. The treadmill in the gym doesn’t work (I went for a run outside). There are no towels in the towel cabinet of the gym (Am I the only one who uses hotel gyms?!). Hall ways smelled like weed. Ordered pizza and as soon as we got it seen a huge roach heading towards our food then seen a smaller one later on climbing on the wall and later discovered a dried dead one in the bathroom by the sink and then another baby one by the ironing board. Tv had lines in it and the cable or what ever it is sucks couldn't even find any cartoons or anything for my daughter to watch. Breakfast was gross if u want to call it breakfast biscuits where over cooked no waffles cause thing that held the batter was broken but there was a guy eating a waffle when we got down there and they had bread but no way to toast it bagels where old and partly frozen and no way to toast them cause the toaster was broken if u wanted cereal u had to ask for it and it was in the back and they got it for u and just brought u a bowl of cereal and container of milk. The little store they have behind the desk was almost not existent it had 5 chocolate bars 3 bags of chips and Tylenol and playing cards and no prices posted. Water tasted gross. Never did find the ice machine. Fridge had black mold on the door

We booked due to the pool & breakfast. However the pool had a sign up saying it has been closed since 7/25 by the health department. And breakfast was bleh, by the time we got downstairs there was still an hour left & no eggs or potatoes. Just waffles, toast & a few muffins. It served its purpose as a place to sleep, but we would not return if we are in the area again.

This was a good place to sleep only nothing else was good about it. The breakfast was terrible with bagels, toast, waffles and microwave sausage. The side doors to the hotel were open because there was no locks on the doors. The pool area was closed. Management stated that they were remodeling the place but I could not tell. As you remove stuff you supposed to replace it especially door locks for the customers safety.
This was a good place to sleep only nothing else was good about it. The breakfast was terrible with bagels, toast, waffles and microwave sausage. Overall our room was clean and as described. However, the first and second floor smelled like marijuana, which was off putting especially since I was traveling with my infant son. Not a lot of options at breakfast either other than waffles, bread, and apple juice/coffee.

The bathroom was horrible I had to clean before using, the property definitely needs help the pics look nothing like what was online. I did see they were renovating but I won’t stay there again. Was non smoking and room smelled like an ashtray plus weed smell throughout entrance and hallways. Everyone was nice but definitely needs better management.

I hate to complain because the two front desk employees that I talked to tried their best and were so kind…. But this hotel could have done better. It was filthy, loud, unkept. This was a non-smoking hotel but our room was so stuffy with leftover smoke that my kids and I were miserable. We left for dinner one night and came back to our room smelling like weed, because someone was smoking in their room and it flowed through the vents. The doors stuck so hard when you opened them that you could hear them all the way down the hall, it sounded like they were being slammed shut. There were chicken bones on the floor in the hallway in the morning that we were checking out… the dining room was covered in trash both mornings. We tried checking out two days early, but we already paid in full ahead of time and the manager refused to respond and refund our money… it was a disaster. It was overly priced… sorry!!
I hate to complain because the two front desk employees that I talked to tried their best and were so kind…. But this hotel could have done better. It was filthy, loud, unkept. This was a non-smoking hotel but our room was so stuffy with leftover smoke that my kids and I were miserable. We left for dinner one night and came back to our room smelling like weed, because someone was smoking in their room and it flowed through the vents. It was a clean room. Nice mattress .nice area. The breakfast was definitely lacking though. It had waffle maker but everything stuck to it. The eggs and hash kept running out and we're never filled at the same time. The milk and juice were in cartons and small cups that also kept running out.
