Shower was leaking water had to tighten head, room had a damp smell, bed sucked! Was like sleeping on a “Box Spring”, pillows sucked! and the worst was the pool was closed and I had planned on spending time at the pool while staying at the hotel. At no point while making my reservations with you did it alert us that the pool would not be opened. I would expect at least a partial repayment for what we got for our money!

Overall this hotel was a nice place to stay while waiting for flight after being diverted. Staff was exceptional and the highlight that made the stay so enjoyable. A/C wasn’t working too well and the room wasn’t super clean(tub had stains)although the rest of the facility was clean and nice. The pool and outside garden area was really nice. It was a great place to stay while waiting several days for my international flight.

Overall this hotel was a nice place to stay while waiting for flight after being diverted. Staff was exceptional and the highlight that made the stay so enjoyable. A/C wasn’t working too well and the room wasn’t super clean(tub had stains)although the rest of the facility was clean and nice. The pool and outside garden area was really nice. It was a great place to stay while waiting several days for my international flight.

Stayed overnight before a cruise. Used the complimentary van service from the airport to the hotel. The driver was friendly and talkative! The kids loved the pool/hot tub except there were a-lot of leaves in the pool and needed scooped/cleaned out. The water fowl in the area were fun to watch. Overall a great stay and start to our cruise!

I posted this review on Google and I will also post it here as well: I booked this hotel because it was conveniently located close to the Fort Lauderdale airport but man was I bum-poked!!!! We ended up waiting nearly an hour for our free shuttle bus from the hotel to pick us up. I guess they only had one shuttle running. After complaining and calling 3 times, they sent a 2nd shuttle. We are a group of 3 separate hotel reservations here. One of the reservations had ants and the second one had cockroaches. The showers were loud when you turn it on, you can really hear the pipes squeak. In the morning there is only one elevator beside the lobby and everyone is trying to use it, so it's a long wait to get down. One of the few positives here, they had fresh diy waffles here (however their bread toaster is broken and takes forever to heat up bread). Another plus, upon arrival there is free water near the lobby. Overall, it was a mistake booking this hotel. I know I only stayed less than 12 hours to take the cruise the next morning, but they need to do a better job looking after us. I definitely will not come back here. Far too many strikes to give them a second chance.

Upon checking in everything seemed fine. Nothing great, nothing terrible. Went to the elevator and that’s when you see the sign the pool is closed. Not when booking, not even at the front desk checking in. After you’ve paid! Fine, we will rearrange our plans and not have a pool day. Get up to our room and the lock bolt kept popping out. So you couldn’t shut the door from the outside. You had to wrap your arm around the door to turn the handle in order for it to go back in. Called maintenance, and he didn’t seem like it was a problem. Was basically told to just deal with it. Again, fine. Not the worst issue to have, just annoying and hope it actually opens when we try to get in. The next morning we go down for breakfast. Very minimal options. I at least got my coffee, we’ll go out for breakfast. The carpet in the room felt gross. Is it wet? Grimy? The last day came, icing on the cake. Bugs in the bathroom. Nope! Not fine. Spoke to the front desk and was told a refund would be given for the inconvenience. I emailed the manager, as I was told to, with picture proof. No response. 10 days later, still no response, no reverse transaction in my account.

The check in procedure was quick and proficient. The staff was professional and courteous. The overall appearance and cleanliness exceeded expectations. The rooms are spacious and inviting. Shout out to the front desk clerk who recommend a restaurant to us. When we are in the area next month, we will re-book with this hotel.

La Quinta is a Nice hotel Grat area near the mall andrestaurants. The breakfast was okay but for vegans people there was no opposition for plant base iteams. The staff was friendly and helpful . The room are good and comfortable. 1 bad note have housing clean behind dressers and night stands 1 an month the dust built up. For me and my family 10/10 🌟

The property itself needs cleaning. Hotel very nasty. Hallways, doors, rooms and bathrooms were very dirty. Hair everywhere in the bathroom. Shower dirty and toilet seat. Floors look like they have not been mopped in a while. Air condition in my room was broke. I asked for and extra towel. They gave me shower mat, and told n that was all they can give me. Over all. Will not recommend!!

When we first got to the room, it was very warm. The AC had not been running at all.(just know this is in South Florida, where it is very humid year-round) So it took until 4 AM before that room was cooled down. The lamp shades were filthy. It was not as nice as other La Quinta hotels that I have stayed in, but it did its job for us just to spend the night nothing more than that.

Extremely noisy throughout the night, woke up multiple times from people talking in the hall. You can see light around the room door, not sealed well. Slip cover on mattress was too small, kept slipping off through the night. Overall would not stay here again.

This property as potential, I said 2 night and it was the worst ! My bathtub was so nasty I had to go buy cleaning supplies to clean it since I have a toddler. My husband went downstairs to tell the front desk about the issue they said to let a house keeping know so they can clean it. My husband found a person on the 5th floor and he asked her if she can clean the bathroom tub for us. Her responds was NO !! then he went down to the 3rd floor and found another house keeping and she also said NO. My husband after when down stairs and told the front desk about there responds and they said ill put and email in for them to get it done. That was out first night, we didnt come back till 2am and the bathroom was still not cleaned. We went to the front desk at 2am because our room keys stopped working. The next day I went down stairs to the front desk to talk to the manager. I spoke to him about the restroom problem as well as how we got told No two times. He didnt apologize at all didnt seem to care about my issue with the bathroom. I didnt get to aggressive because all I wanted done was my tub to be clean so my family can shower. He promised someone up there in 30min and no one ever showed up! I ran into him in the elevator with my cleaning supplies not once did he ask of they showed up or anything he was on his phone minding his own business!! It was the worst experience ever! I would like corp or someone is the higher up to reach out to me ! because this is not ok!!

The staff at this location are amazing. Everyone from fromt desk, airport shuttle driver to maintenance was very professional, warm, and welcoming. The hotel is dated and needs updating. They do allow pets, which can be a problem. There was a room next to mine (207) that had dogs that were loud most of the evening and morning. They barked everytime a door slammed or people were talking in the hallway. The lady with the dogs kept yelling at them which didnt help. I wish they didnt allow pets for this reason or had a pet only floor. Will stay here again but request a room far away from any creatures. Im from Missouri and travel alot. The staff at this location alone are why I would come back. 5 star attitudes here and i wish I vould take them with me.

It's also really Insulting when they outright lie to you in conversation, saying nothing was found. This is the type of behavior you receive at a motel 6. I guess I'll just have to blast this La quinta Inn at Ft Lauderdale/ Hollywood Airport at the corporate level until someone Cares enough about the dishonesty of their Employees

The front desk lady, her service was terrible it seems like she doesn't like her job. Poor customer service. I had already made a reservation and I had the confirmation number with me, before showing her the confirmation she told me if I didn't have one that I need to go to sleep in my car, super rude person. Staff don’t know what they are doing. We put our name on a list for a room when checking in at 11:45am. We were told rooms would be available at 3:00. We happily left and went for lunch. When we arrived back at 2:45 we we told that our room was still not ready but we were on the list. Then 3:00 came and so did shift change. New people were showing up snd were given rooms by the time we got through the line up at front desk it was nearly 5;00. 2 hours to check in for this dump at $300 a night. do not stay here

We reserved a night at La Quinta Inn & Suites Fort Lauderdale Airport night before our cruise, and it turned into a complete nightmare. The shuttle service was unreliable—despite calling the hotel for pickup instructions upon landing, we waited over an hour and a half, even though we were told it would be just 15 minutes. We had trouble getting anyone on the phone, and after calling corporate, the shuttle finally showed up, but by then, it was too late. Two other families were also stranded waiting at the airport. When we checked in, we found out two of the three families had been assigned the same room by the front desk at check in, causing confusion and frustration. One family had to return to the front desk for a new room. Things got worse around midnight when we were suddenly woken up by someone trying to enter our room. They were repeatedly swiping their key card, and when we answered the door, they said the front desk had assigned them our room. In the morning, the front desk informed us that their system showed a different room than the one we were actually assigned the night before. The hotel was also dated, with a musty odor in the hallways. Between the unreliable shuttle, room mix-ups, noise disturbances, and poor service, this was a highly frustrating experience. We left feeling disappointed and will likely avoid Wyndham hotels in the future. This hotel is not recommended for anyone seeking a restful stay after long travel or a cruise.

Unless you ask for room service everyday, your room will be cleaned every three days . I had to go to the front desk for clean towels. No lotion either. Location is great, front desk was awesome, if it weren’t for the issue that they don’t clean your room everyday, I would have given 5⭐️

Overlooking a beautiful lake/pond with large trees, nice landscaping and a nice patio area overlooking the pong. The hotel is older and could use some updating but the room was comfortable and quiet, bed comfortable and close to the parking for our cruise. It was very close to many dining options too.

Very dated. Was locked out of room after breakfast due to door lock broken. Site told us to cancel our Uber as they didn’t know when they could get us back in room. We had a cruise and had to get to the port on time. They said they would pay for cancelled Uber and provide transportation only to be charged $75 cash from driver. Breakfast had very limited options. Would not recommend.

This hotel is older, but well maintained, and comfortable. For an overnight stay, close to the airport it served our needs well. The continental breakfast was very limited, but the biggest perk was free parking. Something that was impossible to find at any other hotel in the area. The staff was helpful and kind. It was a little concerning to arrive after dark and find 2 police cruisers parked at the front door. I don’t know if there was a problem, or if it was just added security. They were there again in the morning after an early morning drop off at the airport, but left rapidly when they obviously got a call to be somewhere else, so it may have just been precautionary, but thought I should mention it in the review for full transparency. I would stay there again if I am ever in the area and need a room. Though we didn’t use the pool, it was quite beautiful, and the setting was lovely.

Staff were absolutely amazing! Shuttle driver from the airport gave us a little run down on the area as we were travelling to the hotel. Front desk receptionist was so, so helpful and friendly. Hotel is quite dated. Rooms are ok. Bed was comfortable. Corner cupboard with refrigerator in it was completely unfinished inside, no flooring in there, concrete floor exposed and nothing covering the walls inside. Lamp shades were yellowing & stained and the coating on the lamps itself was all peeling off. Pool was dirty with leaves. Washroom was gross, doors are weird. There is two and they don’t open very easily. I got stuck in there and my husband had to force the door open from the outside because I couldn’t pull them open from the inside. The toilet was cracked on the side near the base and had what appeared to be a puddle of dried up urine resting on the base of the toilet. The baseboards were coming off and had black mould growing behind them. The floor of the bathtub was really spongy and had something put over it to reinforce it a little bit. I’m glad we never had our kids with us but we made do with just my husband and I.
