I wasn’t sure what to expect and get nervous booking online without knowing the area. The structure of the building is older, but everything is clean and nicely updated. The final floors feel cleaner than carpet and the bedding looks crisp. The pool area is also nicer than I expected. While it’s close to a gas station and road, it’s blocked by privacy fencing and the whole pool area looks recently updated.

The beds were comfy, the room was clean, and we felt safe. The pool was very dirty, and the breakfast was disappointing. There are 2 waffle makers, and good biscuits, but no meat, dry eggs and cold crreal.

Before booking the room, we asked if it was okay to park our pickuptruck and trailer at the location. She said it was okay but never mentioned it would be an additional 20 dollars a day for parking fees. In the 5 years of booking hotels, we have never been charged additional parking fees. We always ask before booking the room if they allow our pickup truck and trailer to park or if they have room for us. It was untitled the room was booked she mentioned it would be an additional $20 a day for parking. Not Communication upfront its what made the situation unpleasant with the location.

Hotel was nicely kept up. Rooms were spacious. Minor issues were access to pool was bizarre, out the front entrance to the parking lot. And coffee in lobby should stay out past 9:45am on weekends.

The property was under construction, making parking very challenging - there was no indication of this online when booking the room. Our room was very dirty, with a strong odor. We killed several bugs!! I was thankful we were there only to sleep & move on. It was disappointing because we have always had great experiences at other red roof inn’s.

Had not been to a RRI for many years but found this RRI to be a delightful experience. The staff was very welcoming and engaging and went over and above to make our one night stay very positive. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable and the amenities very good. The breakfast was better than expected. Will be returning in the future.

bearable for on the road night stay. found cockroach in bath room. beds were not changed, toilet was extremely small probably made for Midgets. bathroom was smelly and felt like never cleaned in months. bathtub was okay. hotel was almost empty but receptionist gave dirtiest room. not sure why? she could have given better room. overall if ur on a budget and feeling adventurous then go for it. I wouldn't go there anymore

The room had not been cleaned, the sheets were stained, the fridge had food stains on the shelves and the hallways smelled horrible. We left after 10 minutes in the room. Disgusting.

Front desk was kind on both shifts. We checked in last night around 11pm, first room was filthy. Upon opening the door we could smell a bad odor, that of dampness and mold… pretty nasty. There was sticky stuff all on the floor, which had not been mopped or swept. There was pet hair and pubic hair all in the bed! There was mold in the shower above the soap holder and mold on the shower curtain. After drying off, the bath towel left long blonde hair and long black hair on my body, clearly not mine as my hair is coily. I was disgusted. We then called front desk, he moved us to a new room, it had even more hair and pet hair in the beds. We called the front desk showed the clerk, he agreed the rooms were filthy and they were not cleaned. The third and last room had spilled or vomited chicken next to night stand and hair in bed and shower. When I reached out to dry my hands on the hanging hand towel, there was hair on it as well. Out of all the rooms, the 3rd room was the least dirty. At this time, it was after midnight and we were exhausted, reluctantly we stayed. We checked out at 6:30am 10/13 this was the worst stay we have EVER booked.

I've stayed here now 3 times. This time was probably the worst, as it seems like I got an older room where the showerhead seemed to be in rough shape and the tub seems a bit gross with the slip mat. Water had a funny off smell to it. The bed seemed kind of springy in a bad way, but I did sleep well. Too well, perhaps - missed breakfast and almost checkout. I also could hear the train going late at night and road noise that I did not experience in the past. The whole place is also under renovation or construction, so it is what it is. What is good is the service and I do like how the price remains about the same even if it's a last minute weekend booking. I would stay again.

Ned felt like you were sleeping on a piece of plywood on top of a box spring. Extremely uncomfortable. Other than that everything else was very nice. Breakfast was good. Food was hot. Service was very nice also.

Nice and clean. Newly renovated. Good Breakfast. Bed were comfortable. Only complain: The A/C in the room did not cool the whole room properly because the room was long. It got very cold on the near the A/C and not so cold on the other bed. The A/C unit was also making big noise. I was told by front desk that setup and A/C noise was about same in every room, so we did not change our room.

The bed was comfortable but the water from the room above us sounded like it was our tub being filled. Toilet was a slow flush. Fridge and microwave worked. Nice TV with wide variety of programing. Breakfast eggs were barely warm and no gravy for biscuits. Waffles were very good. Apples, no bananas. 2 cereal varieties., juice and milk.

We had to pay a 100$ down payment for our stay and was told we would get it back the following day when we checked out. How ever it’s been more than a week and I have yet to receive the 100$ back. They are giving me the runaround saying they sent it to my bank and it’s my bank’s fault but my bank says they haven’t seen anything try to come through.

Woman at the front desk didn't want to help us check in because it was her break or something. Or maybe she sits down to enjoy her personal laptop and food out in the guest dining area all the time. I politely asked for a room on the top floor - I have noise sensitivities and the hotel was clearly nearly empty - and she brushed me off with a "yeah, you're on the third floor." The hotel has six floors.

I will admit from the outside this was the nicest and most modern Red Roof Inn I've ever seen. But the inside of the room furniture was very old and dated, and the bed and pillows were hard. The accessories, I.E lamps, Etc we're nice though. What I experience though at check-in in all of my 40-plus years of traveling, I've never heard before. I arrived after a long drive just 14 minutes before they're 3:00 p.m. guarantee like all hotels do. But never have I ever been told they were going to charge $25 to check in minutes before 3:00 p.m. the girl at the front acted like she was doing me a favor by saying don't worry about it, I won't charge you for that. This is insane, because this hotel was in a not so great area and there were over 140 rooms available. This is not the way to bring back repeat business or Word of Mouth, so the manager of this hotel needs to be aware of this weird policy.
I will admit from the outside this was the nicest and most modern Red Roof Inn I've ever seen. But the inside of the room furniture was very old and dated, and the bed and pillows were hard. The accessories, I.E lamps, Etc we're nice though. What I experience though at check-in in all of my 40-plus years of traveling, I've never heard before. The room was fair, breakfast subpar, and the checkout was atrocious. The front desk was unmanned making it impossible to get my cash deposit back without waiting for the staff member to return from leaving the facility completely to “pick someone up” leaving only cleaning and maintenance staff there who had no access to the cash. I had to wait over 20 minutes while the other staff attempted to contact that front desk person with NO success. This caused unnecessary delays in our travel and we were on a time schedule. When she returned she was not only rude to me, but also to her coworkers. Very rude and unprofessional.

We booked this hotel on our way back home . We got to the property late so decided to leave our luggage in a locked luggage rack on the back of the car. We woke up the next morning with the lock broken and our luggage missing. A police report was filed but there’s nothing that can be done.

The hotel is located behind a gas station so getting to it was confusing. Check in was easy, the piping wasn’t the best the toilet didn’t flash the first time. Then the tub wasn’t draining properly so the water wasn’t going down.

PROS: Every staff interaction we had was great. The overnight staff were very prompt and kind when I left in the middle of the night to walk my dog and couldn't get back in with my key card. Location was easily accessible with a convenience store within walking distance. Other guests were quiet. Great dog park option within 3 miles. Our king size room was very large and spacious. CONS: Very firm bed, to the point of being uncomfortable for me. Limited outdoor space for walking my dog. While this location wasn't dirty, it was a bit shabby. For example, I wanted to keep my socks on when walking across the hotel room floor. Other guests did not clean up after their dogs outside. Construction/building demolition next door.

This property is really convenient to access. The interstate exit is directly across the highway from the entrance to the hotel when you are heading south on Interstate 75. The hotel is only about a 5 minute drive from downtown Macon. Every staff member I encountered was extremely courteous and kind. They were very willing to help with any request or need that I had. The breakfast that was served daily was fresh and well maintained. There are also countless restaurant options within a few minutes drive to choose from. I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Macon.

Had not been to a RRI for many years but found this RRI to be a delightful experience. The staff was very welcoming and engaging and went over and above to make our one night stay very positive. The room was spacious and clean, the bed comfortable and the amenities very good. The breakfast was better than expected. Will be returning in the future.

The beds were comfy, the room was clean, and we felt safe. The pool was very dirty, and the breakfast was disappointing. There are 2 waffle makers, and good biscuits, but no meat, dry eggs and cold crreal.

The bed was comfortable but the water from the room above us sounded like it was our tub being filled. Toilet was a slow flush. Fridge and microwave worked. Nice TV with wide variety of programing. Breakfast eggs were barely warm and no gravy for biscuits. Waffles were very good. Apples, no bananas. 2 cereal varieties., juice and milk.

The smell of marijuana was strong upon entrance into the lobby. The gal at the front desk was pleasant and the room had been paid for so we stayed, hesitantly. We were told the pool was open until 10pm but when we got ready and went down there they said it was closed due to the hurricane which was gone the day before. The rooms were ok. Very few outlets and some wouldn’t hold the plug. It was fairly quiet though so I’ll give it that. The breakfast was sad. Waffle irons but no waffle batter, scrambled eggs, undercooked biscuits, apples, a couple choices of cold cereal. I didn’t like that the doors to get into the hotel being the lobby were not locked, allowing for non “residents” to come and go as they please.

The room felt and looked clean, but the beds felt old. Did not get a good night sleep. Breakfast was okay, just commercial food, nothing special. A lot of parking. We arrived at night and honestly, area didn't feel safe. We will not be staying there again.

My room had the floors replaced and shower fixtures but the shower fixtures weren’t completely installed. There appeared starting construction directly behind the hotel because it’s fenced off.
