It was okay. Everything was clean and very lovely plants outside added to the aesthetic of the place. Check in was the worst ever with them telling me my payment had been declined. Very embarrassing especially when I had a receipt and proof the funds had been taken out of my bank. After a 30 min call, they got it straightened out but I never received a reason for the mix-up. I still don’t know if it was on the Expedia side or the property’s side. The bed appeared comfy at first but as the night went on it was not comfy at all. Nice play area for the doggies. Filled in the old pool and covered with turf so they could be off leash in a gated area.

Rooms were very nice and the staff was very accommodating. There are not any elevators, but they offer to help with luggage if need be. Right in the perfect spot of Monterey. We will definitely be back

Quick check in Clean room, organized, bed is alright, water is strong pressure and hot Hot tub was definitely a plus Only problem is the small restroom, but I’m a big person Walkable to the shopping center, close to everything by car too, just 10 mins away from everything

Took my little dog on vacation to Monterey for a few days. This hotel was absolutely perfect. I intentionally booked the room with the big tub and I LOVED it. Was so nice to relax after all the walking & site seeing we had done during the day. For the dog owners that love their pet enough to bring them along, there is a beautiful gated courtyard for your dog to be off leash & potty. It had several picnic tables too. The owners were phenomenal and incredibly friendly. I will for sure be booking future Monterey trips here. Had the absolute best time with my little dog.

Our stay was a mix of pros and cons. The bathroom was clean, but the beddings didn’t smell freshly laundered. The Keurig worked at first but stopped after two uses. The TV wasn’t working, but that was on us for not reporting it right away—it only got fixed the morning we checked out. On the plus side, the front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating, even sharing great tips for breakfast and dinner spots. Overall, still worth coming back to on our next visit to the area.

This motel was on main road directly across from Del Monte Shopping center. It conveniently located minutes away from the aquarium, Cannery Road, beaches, and the wharf. Check in staff/manager was friendly. Downside is that the room was so DIRTY and full of MOLD. The shower curtain was covered in mold, corners of the room had mold, the floor had hard water stains like it cant completely dry which causes a foul odor. The headboard had head and hand prints. We walked around in white socks and it was black within minutes. The blinds were also broken and the door had gaps with janky locks. Definitely a health and safety hazard all around. Save yourself and your family and stay somewhere else.

The staff was fantastic! Cleanliness was a bit of an issue. But can easily be overlooked with how friendly everyone was. I didn't take photos. I didn't want to have a remembrance.

Great location. Staff was very nice. Only complaint is the tub in the room was dirty. Could definitely use a good scrubbing. I actually cleaned it before I got in. But it was very nice.

Purchase 2 rooms here in Monterey. This is the dirtiest place I have ever stay or encounter on a Vacation. Both rooms were dirty. The guy at the front desk said he can’t do anything but give me another room. So we took it and that one was dirty. Not only was the first room dirty but shower didn’t work. Couldn’t even make my kids get off the bed. The guys was suppose to give me discount on each room. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. Definitely if traveling with kids

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean, but the carpet had large stains on it which made the room feel less clean. One of our 2 rooms the door handle wouldnt lock and my elderly mom was staying in that room. There was a chain lock onthe door also. It worked for us for 1 night.

Room was quite old and worn, bathtub was chipped, flush was constantly getting jammed. Walls were peeling and the baseboards were broken, Ironing board cover was torn . Sink did not have a stopper and the faucet poured a thin stream of water. Shower made a lot of noise.

I stayed here during Monterey Car week so it was crazy expensive BUT it was a great. The room was very generously sized and well equipped. I liked the fact that the windows were large so I could either turn the AC on or enjoy the breeze. The beds were very nice and firm and the room was surprisingly quiet. The staff was extremely welcoming as well. The walkways and the stairs could use some refreshing and the towels were quite skimpy. The two remotes for the TV was very confusing, but Wi-Fi was speedy. Overall, I would stay here again, which says a lot!

I like that the room is updated and there’s a very nice shopping mall across the street. However, the water in the shower at this place reeks badly, almost like it’s untreated outdoor water flowing in from the ocean. Disgusting. Never encountered this issue in over 40 years of traveling. Dan The Man at the front is very nice. But there’s really no compensating for a serious flaw like the shower water grossness.

Property was conveniently located in the area, easy to get an Uber to downtown. We booked the king suite with the jetted tub. Which didn’t even work. So that’s was a bummer, room was okay, very small and a little run down. Bed was old and springy and pillows were okay. For the price it was okay but I wouldn’t stay here again because of the comfort level I would just pay more to stay somewhere else.

The water flow in the bathroom sink was barely enough to wash your hands, and took a while to fill up for a cup of water. The manager was very polite and came over the next day to fix it, but it wasn’t better. The shower and toilet pressure were fine, but the sink was not working properly and not worth $160/night!! Very annoying. Bed was comfortable and the TV a nice one.

This was a good location as far as access to the highway, Del Monte shopping center and downtown, but there was loud traffic noise. Plenty of parking, Keurig coffee maker, small refrigerator w/freezer, microwave and a/c or heater in the room. Large tv with lots of channels. Nice king bed. This is an old hotel which shows its age. We checked out a day early and was given a refund for that night which we had prepaid...I was impressed with that.

From check-in to check-out, the service was warm and friendly. The owner/manager of the motel even gave my daughter a snack. The room was spacious and clean. Thank you for a wonderful overnight stay. We will definitely be back! 😀

The male at the front desk was nice. The room was clean and spacious. I left my car in the parking lot and took an Uber to cannery row. It’s a quick little walk if you chose to walk. The outdoor mall is across the street and there’s also a movie theater.

Comfortable, clean, excellent service and accepts pets. Right across from the Monterey Shopping Center, with its restaurants and Whole Foods. Very convenient to all the great Monterey activities

The flowers were so welcoming as we pulled into the parking lot. It was clean, the room was nice with a refrigerator and a microwave. The coffee pods were good. We got an early check-in so we could get to our music festival for the first performance.

Clean, spacious, modern room. Free breakfast that did the job. Shopping complex across the way with an amazing Hawaiin Asian Fusion Steakhouse called Kona Steak & Seafood. Would stay again.

The pictures on their website show they have a pool, Which they do not. They also are supposed to have continental breakfast which they do not, rooms are Definitely not as nice as they are meant to seem. .I complained to the front office and Expedia both were no help.

Really old property. Needs serious TLC. Dirty rooms and really old linens and towels with holes and stains. Service not the friendliest. Also breakfast was supposed to be included but there was no breakfast service at all.

An economical property that provides everything you need, along with a clean and quiet environment. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and gave me some great suggestions for the area. There is a high-end shopping center across the street that has lots of dining options and a Starbucks. If you are just looking for a simple, comfortable room without spending a lot, I would recommend this place.

This hotel needs a lot of attention, couldn't wait to leave in the morning, but the husband and wife who run it (own it) were very nice and I hate to leave a bad review, but this was not value for money at all

- room smelled like dog urine, had to air out the room and still the smell lingered - water pressure dies after 6pm, and it’s low to start with. It goes from little water pressure to no water at all - picnic area is full of dog feces, I had to pick up so many dog poop just so my dog won’t step on them. There’s really no other grass areas around for the dogs to relieve themselves

Very clean. Comfortable beds! Location is close to everything in the Monterey area. The staff was so friendly and attentive to all of our needs. Would definitely stay here again!
