I have stayed at this property several times. It’s easy to get to. It’s quiet and clean. There’s places close by to eat, a Safeway is just down the street along with several other stores. The only thing I will say is lacking is an ice machine. Even if you have to get it from the front desk. I usually have to go somewhere and get a small bag

Basic motel, easy parking. Only stayed one night, but got the job done.

Great location and price. Looks like they made recent renovations and they are nice! Bed was comfortable, large bathroom, mini fridge in room. Downside: limited parking, no ice machine.

Only cons were the fact that parking is tight, and there were no toiletries in the bathrooms so we had to go get our own. Otherwise, great one night stay. Rooms were clean and quiet - you can’t hear neighbors which is good, but there is street noise since this right off of a main road. So just be aware of that if it bothers you. The man that checked us in was friendly and made check in smooth and quick.

What I like was the price. Plus You can see improvement, the building seems outdated from the outside, but once you go inside, you can tell they’re investing in it. They don’t have carpet they have a wooden floor modern lamps, tv, bathroom mirror… What I didn’t like was the fact that the TV doesn’t work seems like the Wi-Fi it’s poor. You can spend hours trying to see something on it. Also, when I was checking out, I look under my bed to see if there was anything that I was forgetting And I saw a lot of trash. It seems like they throw everything under the bed. I’ll try to include pictures. Room 105

Very small property with excellent & secure WiFi❗️

Everything was great especially for the price but the wifi was horrible, it did not work and my friends and I got little to no reception in the room.

They need to do some detailed cleaning. The ac was dirty and the base boards. The floor had not been mopped in awhile. The bed was not great but clean. The airport is close so it was pretty noisy at times. Overall ok.

After checking in, went to our room (handi -cap) shower had no slip mat, hair was in shower drain release. Most likely stay in different hotel next time.

Whomever cleans the rooms needs a cleaning lesson. There was mold in the shower around the sink around the toilet and there was brown something in the jacuzzi. The bed was very uncomfortable and we sis not realize the airport was around the corner so throughout the day and night it sounded like airplanes were going to come through the roof. We got there early and were charged $20 to access our room even though it was ready and we were the only ones in the parking lot.

Hot tube has need to be cleaned. Ones I turned on the jets something brown come out.

The couple working the property were so friendly and sweet. The room was very clean and check-in was very fast. We would stay there again if passing through.

If you’re in dire need of a place to stay for the night and on a budget this is the place for you. If you’re in town to celebrate a loved one and have a romantic trip this is not for you. I found this place on hotel.com the pictures looked appealing with a jacuzzi, big screen tv and newer amenities. Upon arriving it looked fine at face value, entering the check in office I was overwhelmed with a strong aroma of middle eastern food smell. The smell would be nice at a restaurant, not something I care for at my place of stay. I was given my key and to my surprise the room was not as advertised, no jacuzzi’s and the room was not clean. I brought my concerns to the front desk and was left with a you get what you pay for response, not their exact response but it was heavily implied. I also brought up a mess spilt on the tv and was handed a rag, I responded with I’ll be waiting in my room for someone to come clean it. Dirty sheets, towels, floor, countertops, and shower curtain.

Super clean. Got upgraded to a jacuzzi room and the room was better than some 4 star hotels I have stayed at recently.

The room was dirty. Old linen. Moldy shower curtain. The bed was comfortable but no mattress cover on it. The bench in the room was badly stained and had crumbs on it.There was food and a dried up contact on the counter. The floor was dirty. drink rings on the night stands. I don't usually leave reveiws, but this room was pretty gross.

Pros: check in was easy, desk clerk was pleasant, inside was clean, bed was comfortable, TV was clear with many channels, high tech bathroom mirror, well priced, room had a sofa Cons: near airport, sidewalk outside rooms was very dirty, no table or chairs for dining in the room, no night table but a glass disc attached to the wall wide enough to hold only my cell phone.

Nice, small (very small) family operated motel. Older but well maintained and somewhat updated. My room was extremely small, with no desk nor table, and no chair, so using my laptop was a challenge. Also no separate nightstands; the small shelves attached to the wall were too small to safely hold my iPhone, a bottle of water, & my eyeglasses. Heating/cooling unit worked fine, & held to the selected temperature settings. Didn't even turn on the large flat-screen TV, as I was at a jazz event each day from morning till bedtime.

It was clean and felt safe. I wish the room had a table and chairs. But the tub made up for it!

We booked the room for the indoor hot tub, it was wonderful. We sat in the hot tub and watched TV. Very romantic.

Romantic Suite is my go to. Jacuzzi tub is huge, with lots of jets as well as lights

Bedding was uncomfortable, only one pillow per guest and at the end of airport runway. Noisy because of flights taking off

Room has no table, no chair, one plug with no table next to it. Room is tiny, bathroom is tiny. Shower sprays all over the bathroom. Hot water runs out quickly. Internet connection was horrible. Room was not clean - had hair on the floor.

For $65 a night at Monterey ca which is expensive area. I was surprise, it was such cozy cute place. Everything was great. Except in morning cleaning rooms lady said rudely to us check is at this time and we didnt know. Plus i was in pain at night and couldnt sleep so had to catch on sleep in morning. Beside that rudeness. Its awesome place to stay

We arrived fairly late but the staff welcomed us and made check in quickl and easy.

The room was beautiful and clean, but the best part was when my tire was flat and the owner helped me replace the tire and get home. 100/10 above and beyond, will be back next time I find myself in Monterey.

The staff is super friendly and helpful. They definitely want you to enjoy your stay. We'll be staying there again next year

The property manager was not really trying to understand what my problem was when I stayed, it was like he didn’t really quite understand, but the Jacuzzi and my hotel room wouldn’t turn off, there’s really no access to the property manager via cell phone, so I had to go down to the office and knock on the private door where he came out, and I told him about the Jacuzzi. He came down and tried to turn it off, to no avail, so that kind of messed up that one night for me, I’ll try to see if I can get for the second night. He just kind of talked over me and ignored me. I didn’t like the way I was treated, and I did tell him that I was going to write a review. Over it was pretty clean hotel, I just didn’t like the property management customer service as far as getting something resolved or fixed. It didn’t happen. The Jacuzzi ran all night which it was noisy and I told him that, but he just kind of overlooked that and kind of pretty much wanted us to be gone, so that’s the complaint I had, I don’t know if you could reach out to them to where I can get a partial refund or what have you because the situation was not taken care of, and I’m more than likely will not go back there if I’m ever in Monterey area, Also there’s no number to the front desk. I just assumed it was zero but you couldn’t get anybody and that’s kind of dangerous. If you’re in danger I mean I guess you can call 911, but there was no way of getting to him to fix the problem we had to physically go down to the off

Great Customer service

The staff was very nice and check in/out was very quick and smooth. The location is not far at all from the beaches, aquarium, and other sites. We enjoyed our stay.

Extremely friendly and nice. Three of us stayed in a 1 queen bed with loofah couch. Gave us more blankets, pillows and towels when requested. Hotel was away from most of the traffic yet walking distance so restaurants, shops and cvs. 10 mins to Monterey state beach and 25-30 mins to Big Sur.

Booked the room for the Rebels and Renegade festival this passed weekend, the venue was less than a 5 min walk from the front door of my room- The manager and the staff were super welcoming and the rooms were clean! Definitely will be booking with them again my next stay

The property is very convenient to shopping and entertainment.

The Fremont was a very nice stay. It was close to major areas in Monterey. The parking was very easy and convenient.

This place was perfect! The hosts were one of our favorite parts of the stay. They were so friendly and accommodating. The room was perfect. We stayed in the romance suite, which had a bathroom with a toilet, tub, and shower. Our favorite part was the jacuzzi tub. We took three or four baths in three days because it was like soaking in a hot tub. The hotel is within walking distance to the fairgrounds, making it very convenient for us. It's a great place to stay with so many other conveniences close by, all within walking distance!

I got pink eye after staying there for a couple nights. Never had pink eye in my life until this motel stay. It’s next to a adult book store so idk, sketchy area.

This is a nice inexpensive property to stay if your not looking for luxury. Restaurants are close by and it’s not far from the wharf

This is a nice small property that’s well taken care of. There’s plenty of parking. It’s close to Black Bear Diner and Denny’s as well as some smaller restaurants. There’s a 24 hour Walgreens close by. I traveled alone and felt safe
