Very comfortable and clean beds, bathroom, and shower in the "Hillside" rooms. Our room #31 was right next to the ice machine room, so we heard it going on and off all night. This is a very beautiful, but hilly resort. Maybe not the perfect place for anyone who has trouble walking, especially at that altitude of your not used to it. However, you can drive to various parking lots to make getting around a little easier. Loved soaking in the creek, with natural hot water from the creek bed mixed with cold water from the mountains. However, there is NO easy way to get down to the creek. You have to climb on round, sometimes slippery, boulders. They should put in at least one staircase to the creek for the less agile or older guests.The thing I was most disappointed in was that there was no regular temperature pool (around 80°) to cool off in on a hot, sunny day. All 30+ pools were fed by the hot springs and felt more like lovely hot tubs.

The cabin we stayed in was not very clean. Dirt on the couch, dirt and dust bunnies in just about every corner, cobwebs hanging from lots of places. For paying almost $500 per night, I would expect better cleanliness. The condition of the locker room/spa side has declined since our last visit - hardly any of the lockers work, not as clean as you would expect in the locker rooms.

Cliffside rooms are huge and great for families. Loved hanging out at the resort but bummed several of the pools were closed. We’ll try to come in the summer when everything is open.

Avoid this place! This was a horrible way to end an otherwise great Colorado vacation. They close the waterslide at 5 PM, and you can’t check into the hotel until 4pm. So, the waterslide is virtually useless if you have kids and you’re only staying one night. The Hot Springs Are open to the public and in high use. There are private hot springs for hotel guests, but you cannot use these if you have a child under the age of 16. You’re forced to use the public Hot Springs, and they are pretty gross. The facilities are extremely dated and dirty. Our room cost over $300, and it is similar to a Motel 6 hotel room. The walls are paper thin, the carpets were disgusting (stains), there was mold in the shower, and there were two holes in the ceiling. I’m not exaggerating. Do not fall for the allure of this place. If you want to go to the Hot Springs, you can just buy a pass. Stay somewhere else. The food in the restaurant is extremely overpriced. There’s nothing on the dinner menu under $28, so imagine trying to feed some kids. So we purchased pizza at the market, which was basically stale Gas station pizza. The entire property is extremely dated. For example, they still use physical keys (metal house keys) For all the doors to the rooms. This was such a disappointing experience. The rooms should cost $80, not $300!

There was a bicycle race in Nathrop maybe that created the problem. We stood waiting to check in for 20minutes while the 3 people behind the desk did everything except checking people in. The resort requires check in at 4pm it really shouldn’t be a surprise to them. By the time we checked in the infinity pool was closing.

Very large hot springs resort that is very busy and commercial. Gorgeous setting. Restaurant had nice ambiance, good menu, and great staff. Basically it’s a lot of hot swimming pools. We even went on an off peak day and it felt overcrowded. It has its place in the hot springs world, but it lacks any sort of tranquility or calm that some of the more simple, natural, and humble properties have. If you’re looking to be packed in like sardines and sit/stand around in hot water, this is the place for you. It’s a bit of a bummer that they allow the general public to pay to get in…just adds to the noise and chaos. Only redeeming part was that from 8-10 AM they have one area that are for staying guests only. We stayed in a cliff side room. It was large, but felt outdated with overly worn furnishings. Overall, it’s a decent place, but it just wasn’t our jam.

Rooms are clean. Sara at front desk was extremely helpful. Reserved a cabin for our family for this next summer. Recommended going to St Elmo, most excellent. And , of course, the hot springs were amazing. Think the two of us will be back in December.

My room was very dirty. There was trash in the floor by the bed. Smears on the only window facing the view I paid for. Grime all over the tub and trash on the floor in the bathroom. Spider webs and dust above the vanity. Just very very dirty in general and because of that it was over priced.

I was so excited to stay at Mount Princeton Resort until I experienced one of the worst resort experiences I’ve ever been through. The room was gross, and poorly cleaned. The vents looked like they had enough mold in them for a decade. After trying to go to the bathroom, realized the toilet was not even working. Called the front desk. Waited for an hour for a maintenance person to show. Finally came and the toilet still wasn’t fixed when we tried to use it (after the “fix”. Called front desk again, and they offered another room in the boonies away from walking distance to amenities and said it was “an upgrade”. After I stated I only wanted to stay in the area I was in, they offered me a cabin but with a $100 charge. The manager then hung up on me when I told him he wasn’t listening to what I needed. I ended up leaving the resort and had to demand that my credit card not be charged a cent. (Since we didn’t even stay in the room more than 4 hours—but they insisted on charging me a “cleaning room fee”. Ironic. Don’t stay at the resort. It is over priced and poorly maintained.

The cabin seemed clean but it was not. No mattress covers, no pillow protectors, filthy ceiling fan, cobwebs everywhere. The bathroom floor had accumulated dirt in the corners. The entire cabin needs a thorough cleaning.

I have stayed at the cliffside before and wasn't too keen on it. It had a great patio with expansive views of the valley, but room needs updating. Wasn't impressed. This time we stayed at the creeekside and it was fantastic. We had the river flowing outside our balcony. We left the slider open all night to hear it. Room was renovated very nicely. We had everything we needed: refrigerator with ice trays (filled), very comfortable bed, spacious room, tons of storage space. We will definitely be back to the creekside suites again. Leo in the pool bar was fantastic. Our waitress at the restaurant could have been more friendly and engaging. Cant remember her name, but the other waitress working the restaurant was very engaging and friendly with her tables. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly.

This is our third time at Mt Princeton and it was great, as always. This time we stayed Cliffside, which has more of a motel feel. The room was spacious and the back patio has an amazing view. The bathroom is small and little dated. We enjoyed staying close to the slides and infinity pool.

We stayed in the Creekside Suites and enjoyed easy access to the pools and spa. The room was nicely appointed, but the beds felt a bit bowed toward the center, which impacted the quality of sleep. The bathroom was nice and clean, but the shower curtain was shorter than necessary to keep the water from spilling into the floor. There were dishes in the dishwasher, but it was unclear if they were clean. Overall it was a pleasant and peaceful stay.

The cheapest rooms on the cliff side were indeed cheap and need of major renovation. Everything needed to be updated. The bathroom was very small and inadequate, especially for toiletries. The carpet looked 50 years old and was really grubby looking. For the amount paid to stay off season, a cup of brewed coffee was not even offered by at the front lobby.

Staff seems to really dislike bookings from Expedia. Almost every staff member mentioned bad things about me using Expedia. Last time the staff was extremely rude when they didn’t have our reservation for the two nights we booked and blamed it on Expedia. Staff is rude and inconsiderate. Extremely short with all the customers.

Overall our stay was great. Check in was disappointing. The front desk gal was checking us in but doing something else for a colleague..she was super distracted. We were in no hurry, we were early and planning to just use the pools until a room was ready. Since she was so distracted she forgot to give us towel cards, or explain much of the property.

The front desk staff was amazing. They helped me get a bike, got me in my room ( that was amazing and right next to the river) early, before 4. I even received a courtesy call asking if I needed anything. I will definitely be back & have told all my friends how great it was! Thx for a beautiful, relaxing time!

Place was very dark at night not walkable at all. There were no lights on the roads only at the lobby or main entrance. No transportation available to and from cabins or roomsa. No entertainment and only one restaurant with very expensive over priced drinks. The dining service was terrible. We waited 45 minutes for a drink, the food was extremely expensive but service didn’t reflect that. Needed more staff to serve tables at dinner. Food was just ok. Disappointing. No towels at the infinity pool, but we were told we can’t take our towels from the room and if we lose our towel card, it would cost a lot of money. Brought my towel card to the pool, but there were no towels available after walking in the freezing cold to get there. Towels only available at main lobby hot spring. Hot Springs mainly look like pools nothing really natural about them. Cabins stated they were full kitchen, but we’re not full at all. Barely any silverware available only a few glasses. No salt and pepper or anything like that in the cabins. Make sure you bring paper goods and other things that you want if you want to cook because it’s bare minimum. Check- in was grueling only two people working and it took about 30 minutes in line to get checked in. Overall wouldn’t go back.

The property was great. The spring runoff was high, so the creekside pools were closed. I had difficulty with the front staff, who messed up during the check-in process. They did not provide the drink comp tickets that were a part of the original reservation, and they shorted my stay in the computer and their wrist bands, and I still don't feel properly compensated for the resorts mistakes. I had to walk nearly a mile from the hotel room to the reception after being locked out of the room. It was then that the drink tickets were given, but we were leaving the next day. I would've much rather had the option to use those on my birthday. While the staff were nice, there seemed to be a feeling of "othering" me because I didn't book through their website directly. Being marginalized on your 40th birthday weekend is not a great feeling.

Very comfortable and clean beds, bathroom, and shower in the "Hillside" rooms. Our room #31 was right next to the ice machine room, so we heard it going on and off all night. This is a very beautiful, but hilly resort. Maybe not the perfect place for anyone who has trouble walking, especially at that altitude of your not used to it. However, you can drive to various parking lots to make getting around a little easier. Loved soaking in the creek, with natural hot water from the creek bed mixed with cold water from the mountains. However, there is NO easy way to get down to the creek. You have to climb on round, sometimes slippery, boulders. We loved the hot springs themselves and the cabin style lodging. The cabin with three beds was perfect for our family of 5. Some of staff was somewhat less than friendly on several occasions, but other than that, our stay was secluded and awesome.

I have been to Mount Princeton hot springs several times over the last 25 years and I am extremely pleased with the amazing transformation this place has had. Beautiful flowers, clean restrooms and clean pools. Our Creekside room was spotless and the kitchenette served us well. Only 3 forks and 3 spoons for a room that sleeps 4 was a small oversight. Parking was easy with plenty of space but we did need to use care when we crossed the busy road to reach the pools. But it was easily walkable and a beautiful view of the mountain and creek. We especially enjoyed the private patio. We could sit in the morning sun and enjoy our coffee.

I had heard a lot of good things about Mount Princeton Hot Springs but I could not have been prepared for the autumn beauty that I would get to see! It is beautifully tucked away from any towns so you are truly in a retreat sort of area. Our suite was a bit down the road so we had a bit of walking but it wasn't bad at all. There was a little bit of everything when it came to the hot springs themselves, but my favorite was the adult only relaxation pool. We will definitely be back!

The room was clean, fresh and well equipped. Loved the fireplace and AC in the room. The resort area is beautiful, the only challenge was the parking as it was a little crowded and hard to find a parking spot. Not the most convenient to walk from the room to the spas but overall we loved it and will definitely return.

The view is incredible - 10/10. The hot springs are relaxing but I prefer other hot springs resort to this one. It was not a super well lit resort and everything shuts down so early with no options for food/drinks unless you drive into town. I would not go back or recommend this resort for the reason of it being too remote and quiet for my liking.

Springs were wonderful and came in various configurations: I like the hot pools best. Room was comfy and next to a “musical” creek. The single restaurant was uneven. Breakfast & lunch were great; dinner had “experimental” combinations which didn’t work so well. For a “steakhouse” only a couple of offerings of steak.

Their onsite restaurant is amazing. We have eaten there several times and it definitely is exceptional. Prime Rib was the chef's special this trip and is a favorite of my family. I enjoyed the halibut entree. Their shrimp cocktail is unique and a must have starter! Aqua Yoga, at the adult pool area, is always a great way to start the morning and highly recommended!
