DoubleTree by Hilton Olympia Downtown Capitol District

Hôtel bien situé dans Olympia près de la marina. Par contre la piscine était fermée pour maintenance alors que c’était une des raisons du choix de l’hôtel.

There was nothing about the overall experience that warrants the cost. Apparent remodel / repair work on the property has dumpsters and materials out into the parking lot. Condition and quality of the property and room is average. Appeared to be a less fortunate, possibly homeless person, going through the repair materials / garbage in the parking lot, shouting and throwing things on the ground, approximately 30 feet from the front entrance, and I did not see staff come out to address it for the five minutes that I watched. Two blocks walk from where multiple tents and carboard shelters are set up blocking the sidewalks, so the general feeling of the immediate neighborhood is less than pleasant. A spill outside the front doors, and the crooked welcome carpet just inside the front doors appeared to go unaddressed for over an hour.

We were able to check in early, which was nice for us. The pool area was clean and there were plenty of clean pool towels. We did not eat the breakfast because of the extra cost. The warm cookies were excellent.

I loved the location! I did not partake of the breakfast. The room was really nice and clean. Thanks!
