The breakfast buffet was quite good. The location was safe and had a lot of dining options. There were a few renovations going on in the hotel that time. Despite this, our hotel stay was still quite comfortable.

Very nice place with friendly staff. Room was a nice size and very clean. Breakfast was really nice with a good variety. Plenty of parking on site. Would definitely stay there again.

Wet good place to stay. They were presently undergoing much-needed updates to an older hotel, but the updates will make a difference to the hotel appearance and quality. Staff was helpful. Breakfast was good.

We only stayed one night, and i would stay again in a heartbeat. The rooms were totally refurbished, clean and sleek. The bed was comfortable. The entire property was spotless and the staff were friendly and helpful. Loved that they had fresh coffee, tea and hot chocolate available all the time. We did not have the breakfast there, so I can't comment on that. Free parking was a plus and an Uber was about $7.00 one way to downtown Portsmouth. That was a deal considering parking in Portsmouth could cost more than that, and the hotels downtown Portsmouth charge an additional $40 to park per day. I'll be back for sure!

We picked this property specifically because they offered a shuttle in a 10 mile radius according to Expedia website. We intended to use this to get to the downtown area of Portsmouth. Upon check-in, we were told they no longer have a shuttle. When I went to the room, I discovered the king bed I paid for 8 months ago was instead two double beds with no couch. The front desk staff was very sweet and explained if booked on Expedia, there is no guarantee and that Marriott members have priority over room selection. 30 minutes later, they were able to put us in the room we booked. If I come back to the area, I’ll stay downtown since I will now have to pay for parking or an Uber to go there now.

Good for an overnight stay in the Portsmouth area. Breakfast hours could be extended just a bit(especially after NYE) 6-9 is a very short window. Clean but a bit of mold in the shower and the bathroom walls could use a wipe down.

The property had bed bugs. I was attacked so badly I had to go to urgent care and cancel the rest of my vacation. They denied accountability and still have not refunded my stay.

The service was excellent and all attendants were polite and helpful. The location was convenient to travels we had to downtown and into Maine However, we found our room extremely damp and having dark spots on ceiling. The staff said it was the air conditioning overworking. Our clothes felt damp and paper products as well. If that did not happen, it would have an ideal spot. We were a first floor room.

The room I had on the 4th floor, 409 was very quiet. Renovated and clean. Comfortable firm bed and good pillows. I also liked that I could turn of the HVAC system and crack the window. The breakfast choices were also excellent.

One night get away.. check in was good, parking good. Room was nice at first look until we realize there was no phone and no alarm clock. When we inquired at the front desk, we were not given an answer until this morning when we were told there was a problem with the wiring in the room, which is why there was no phone and no alarm clock. So we asked why were they still using that room if it didn’t have all services and couldn’t be given an answer it was very uncomfortable with the fact that there was no phone to reach the front desk. You can reserve a room with 2 beds 14 weeks in advance and still find, after checking in, that it has only one. The clerk first blamed Expedia, then "the day people"; then, in great frustration aimed at me, he told me to see the manager in the morning. I think it was his responsibility to let the manager know--so that some kind of adjustment, like a partial refund, could be made. Otherwise, the motel is, well, meh.

I got here to check in and the person at the front desk was on the phone. Didn’t acknowledge that I was even here. Had to wait awhile before I asked if anyone could help me. Normally if someone is on the phone they should at least say something. At least I only am staying one night but disappointing service.

What's Unique about the Hotel is that it is in a quiet location. I was not there long enough to do anything, but I hope to come back fo Portsmouth sometime soon.

The property is not within walking distance of downtown however a quick drive gets you to multiple parking garages that put you within walking distance. Hotel clean, check in staff, Gabby, was very nice and accommodating.

Area was convenient to downtown dining, shopping and wakable (slightly over a mile) from the hotel. Also, the complimentary breakfast was above our expectations . . . variety of hot and cold items. All of the staff members were friendly and very helpful.

Though the place isn't in walking distance to downtown, unless you like long walks, we took a 5 minute Uber in and back so no one had to drive or find a place to park.

It was a good location to get on and off the highway. Very limted dining choices. Breakfast was delicious

It was a good location to get on and off the highway. Very limted dining choices. Breakfast was delicious

Good for an overnight stay in the Portsmouth area. Breakfast hours could be extended just a bit(especially after NYE) 6-9 is a very short window. Clean but a bit of mold in the shower and the bathroom walls could use a wipe down.

Breakfast was good. Eggs, waffles, sausage, bacon, cereal, fruits etc. It was really good especially for a free breakfast.

Breakfast was better than expected, with several hot dishes each morning as well as the usual breads, waffles, yogurt, etc. It would have been nice to have some fruits beyond apples and bananas. Our room was comfortable and quiet.

I thought this was a beautiful stay! Super convenient to downtown Portsmouth and surrounding areas. The hotel itself was in a quiet section and I loved that they had an outdoor pool. All interactions with staff were WONDERFUL, very pleasant and professional and happy. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

Staff was friendly & room was reasonably clean. Place showed a lot of wear & the bed was very broken down/uncomfortable. Had noisy riff-raff carrying ons in the parking lot by our window & in the hallway each night between 11pm-midnight. The breakfast buffet was average for an included breakfast but the tables were all covered in syrup & nasty even early before the rush, there wasn’t staff available to keep after washing the tables. There wasn’t no staff available for checkout, stood around waiting a long time before tossing room key cards on desk & leaving.

The hotel had a musty smell as soon as you walked in the main door. The room was also musty smelling and the carpeting felt like there was moisture in it. There were not enough useable outlet plugs for 7 or more devices. Two of the devices HAD to be plugged in - one for rechargeable hearing aids and one for a CPAP machine.
