I didn't like that I had to pay for parking. The exit when inside the garage is so narrow. It is terrible. I can see people hit the corner all the time.

After a long day of work, i came back to a 90 degree hotel room with a malfunctioning ac unit. One of two elevators were in service and each way up and down 8 floors was a very long wait.

Did not like how they charge extra for parking. There was sign at the counter "parking is 15 dollars a night" but the receptionist did not tell me that it also applies to guests. I had already parked my car in the garage and it was too late to find free parking. I believe it's stupid business why not just add it to the cost of stay so it's hidden. With a sign like that which I have never seen even in a dirt cheap hotel not to mension a hilton.

1 of the 2 elevators wasn't working, so the wait time was a little longer than idle. We had cups in our room for the coffee maker, but would have liked to have a couple of water cups as well. We have stayed here several times in the past, very convenient to Wolf trap.

This was one of the worst hotel stays I've ever had. One of the hotel elevators was broken during my 3 day business trip. The other elevator took almost 15-20 mins to come each time and I was on the 8th floor. I had to take the stairs a few times because the elevator was causing me to be late. It was also very warm in the hotel in the hallways like the air was not working. You also can't take the stairs to the parking deck, it stops on the main floor, which makes no sense, so I had to wait long periods again, when I wanted to get my car after I had to go to the main floor. It was so agitated and frustrated each time I had to get on the elevator or try to get my car. I will not stay at this hotel ever again and do not recommend it. It needs updating.

The hotel was amazing and the shuttle service to amd from the CapitoOne Hall was greatly appreciated by friends and I. Our room was clean and comfortable and a warm welcome at checkin. I highly recommend this hotel.

Upon check-in desk clerk kept reiterating problems with system and room to me but not to woman who just checked in, in front of me? Very odd. Room was NOT cleaned. Hair all over toilet and floor in bathroom and on the towels. Disgusting. Pins and Bobby pins on the floor carpet in front of dresser where you walk. Worst thing was AC, it was 78 degrees so we turned AC DOWN and waited and waited it went up to 79 and felt as if it was just the fan on. Went and told him and he never said sorry, he tried telling us that’s normal?? We demanded another clean room with working AC. Next room was clean, but the AC thermostat in this room is on a motion sensor and it doesn’t come back on until you wave or walk in front of it. So when you’re sleeping all night and wake up sweating because the air has NOT turned on at all, it’s not a very pleasant stay. I would NOT recommend this hotel at all.

The parking garage was tight, the room looked clean until we saw some brown stuff by the vent which we avoided and the bathroom ceiling had strands of hair. There were hair on some of the towels. The bathroom floor was peeling and more hair was in the shower. The one thing I can say was the beds were comfy and room was nice and cool. Oh and we went to eat at the restaurant for breakfast and they had difficulty making sunny side up eggs so I said scrambled is fine. I think I was suppose to get three eggs but I think I was only given 1 maybe 2. I asked for white toast they gave me wheat. I was suppose to have regular potatoes but I ended up getting tater tots. My daughter wanted pancakes and it sounded like they did not know what to do but it was on the menu. She was suppose to get bacon and potatoes too but that never happened and we had less than an hour now to check out. I did not bother saying anything. Oh and the lady was nice but was on her phone the whole time even when we were talking to her. We were the only ones there.

I had to switch rooms twice in one day due to bugs. I stay at the same property all the time, the staff is amazing but it always seems to be an issue with something in the room . Either it’s the ac, the refrigerator, the water presser, the tv and now ants. I was told to stop having food in my lol but it’s a hotel room. Regardless If my food was out for 10 mins or 10 hours it shouldn’t matter because there shouldn’t be bugs in my room.

This had easy access to everything in Tyson's Corner and McClean that we had planned for the weekend. My room was clean, the elevator worked, and the bed was comfortable. There were really no complaints. When I checked in on Thursday, they said I would get housekeeping every other day. I checked out on Sunday and didn't have housekeeping once. I got a late checkout on Sunday, they gave me one hour. Housekeeping came 3 times in that hour, but we were trying to maximize the time in the room since we had hours before our last soccer game. Parking in the garage was an extra fee, but I was able to find parking within 2 blocks each night. There was also a washing machine and dryer available which was great to clean the uniform each night.

There was a lot of noise coming from the AC in our room! It sounds like a water drops from a water tank or the AC itself. The AC was keep turning off every few minutes and you need to get up from the bed so the sensor can be activated to turn on the AC again (it can’t be controlled grim the AC controller). Just imagine that we had to do this 3-4 times every hour. The maintenance and the hotel manager didn’t fix the issue. They didn’t change the room as the hotel was fully booked. Will never stay in Hilton garden inn again. It was a terrible experience

Room way to hot the have it set it comes on every 20 minutes then off for 15 minutes if they would un-set the air / heat systems and let guess regulate it would be better I know there trying to save money but be careful if you get a asthmatic or COPD or a person with lung problems it’s going to be a lawsuit waiting to happen I would highly caution it

The air conditioning didnt work properly in our room. The bed wasn't very comfortable. We had very little water pressure in the bathroom sink. Overall our stay was ok. But definitely could've been better. I will say the staff was always very friendly

Nice—quiet and clean room. Couldn’t figure out how to get the room cooler though. Set the thermostat on 65 but it seemed to just run the fan all night. Great coffee in the lobby every morning!

Person at the counter was mean, I was in the line and I saw how she treated the person in front of me, and when it was my turn she was the same, so, that means she is always like that, usually the persons at the counter are the most courteous, and when i was checking out 4 hours later, she said I can't check you out 'til tomorrow, 1st time somebody says to me that they can't check you out. I just told her "do it tomorrow" and left the hotel, it's a nice and clean hotel but with this person everything is bad.

Checking in was pretty easy and the staff was friendly and cooperative. Checking out was not. I asked for an itemized receipt for the charges billed to the room, and the woman was nothing less than hostile about it. She was clearly having a dispute with another guest before I walked up and somehow that transferred to me. Should I have the need to book in the Tyson's area again, I will try another hotel.

Hotel overall was clean. Rooms were decent.parking was a little difficult. Staff is unbelievably rude and difficult. Walked in on a staff member female Indian descent terribly rude to another customer, in front of other customers. When I called down that same Indian women was incredibly rude towards me asking for something so simple. Get rid of her !! I wouldn’t be surprised if more reviews of her service pops up

Terrible hotel my room air condition thermostat is broken the room got really cold around 3am I called the front desk and a very mean lady answered there is nothing I can do for you no maintenance now. The parking is not free and the front desk operator told me your car will not fit on our parking. What a mess is that hotel.

My boyfriend & I were staying for the weekend & the room was in my name. He went to McDonald's at night & tried to come back inside but the front desk guy REFUSED to let him in cuz he forgot the room #. He had my last name obviously & the guy said I wasn't staying there & to get off the property or he'd call the cops. After walking all over Tyson's from hotel to hotel, returning to the property a 2nd time & being turned away & threatened with the police, he continued walking & ended up getting poison ivy. Finally after 3hrs he returned a 3rd time, got shooed away, THEN the guy waved him over. My bf was scared thinking the cops were there so was hesitant until the guy came out SAYING HE MADE A MISTAKE & I had been there all along. We got almost no sleep that night. I was worried & he was stuck outside. I wish I remembered his name, but the night front desk agent is the reason for my poor review. I hope other guests are treated better and not as unlucky as we were.

I had an amazing experience with the front desk personnel. We were greeted by a young lady (Sarah?) that was very welcoming and professional, then next day there was another young lady (from Afganistan?) and she was super helpful and going out of her way to meet our needs (extran blanket, shuttle service, water ... and the last day there was a gentleman that was also super nice and professional. I am impress with your service, finding people like this, that would make me feel like at home is a very special thing. Thank you!!! :) pawel gajer

It was a good stay. The room was clean and bed was comfortable. Only negative was that we were given a room that was still occupied. We were quickly reassigned to another room. The food in the dining room for dinner and breakfast was average at best. We did like the hotel location overall.

The room was comfortable! The bed was great, our accessible bathroom was very spacious, which was great! We went to the restaurant & bar for dinner & drinks upon arrival. I ordered a drink from the menu & was told they didn't have it. I ordered a soda instead & the guy brought me an unchilled mini can of sprite & a cup of ice. That can barely hit the halfway mark on the cup! The food however was decent. I had the smoked brisket flatbread, was really good. Breakfast was good too, however, the person who checked me in, failed to give me my voucher, so we had to go to the front desk to get our voucher. Come to find out, we weren't alone! The person at the front desk dropped that ball! Service was good otherwise!

The hotel section was good. But breakfast attendants were completely devoid of any training They were unfamiliar with their menu. We had to show them the menu availability to stop arguing. Waffles were cold. Bacon & potatoes old.

It is a nice facility, however there is room for improvement in the breakfast food. Also, they are charging $3 for a bottle of water which cost only 20 cents. It will be a great good will if they can offer atleast two free bottle of water per night

Nice quiet location, easily accessible. We picked due to its proximity to Wolf Trap's Filene Center. Staff was friendly. We only had breakfast in the restaurant so can't speak to the rest of the menu, but what we had was good. The 24-hour pantry store with self-checkout kiosk was well-stocked and convenient. Would stay here again for sure.

Be aware that you will be charged $3 per 12 OZ of water bottle the kind you get at Walmart for $3.99 for a case of 24, also on website they mis representing their parking space , you will be charged $15 per night which they don’t tell you when you make the booking, they know you can not park along the street outside the hotel since there are heaps of garbage and abandoned cars parked right outside the left front of the hotel unless you don’t care about your car. The hotel front desk intentionally don’t tell you all the hidden charges they plan to hit your credit card after you checkout. When I challenged the front desk staff they accuse me of not knowing which color my HILTON membership is!! Because according to them only golden color members Can have the two small water bottles! Seriously!!!! Also not any indication in the room that you will be charged $6 for water bottle! The room: the AC is like 50 years old and you get startled when it starts and is very loud, the shower handles one broken and the other was so loose we didn’t care to call and wait for their plumbing service because we needed to check out in 2 hours. I would stay away from this hotel, thete are plenty of good ones around and better service for same price, I just fell in their trap. Learned my lesson.

When I went to the restaurant, I was not greeted, I was pointed at and told "you sit there." So I did not dine there. Bleach marks on carpet in hallway. Grout needed repaired in bathroom. There is some outside free street parking in the shade.
