The lady at the front desk had no personality. Rude to a point. Asked her if there was a room on the 1st floor due to my arthritis and the elevator was broken. she was very unhelpful. The $100 deposit they charge is ridiculous! Room was decently clean. Bed was hard. Room was non smoking, but really stank of smoke. Won’t stay her again. To me, customer service is huge.

I need a walker to get around, so i can't use stairs. The elevator was broken and there were only 2 functional rooms on the first floor. The owner switched some things around so we could stay on the 1st floor, which worked well. The train tracks were right beside the inn, and there were a lot of trains, but we got used to the noise. There was no breakfast, which was really annoying. The beds were pretty comfortable, and everything was very clean.

So much nicer than any 3 star hotels. Main entrance is locked all the time so only those who were checked in can go in and out. I would definitely book this place again.

Walking in to the building it was HOT!!! The guy at the counter had an attitude and wasn’t understanding that my name is changed due to marriage on my id but not my card. After 15 minutes he finally took a credit card. He then told me that the reservation did not include my 2.5 year old which it did! The room was 86 degrees when we walked in. Woke up to a pretty decent size roach in the bathroom floor and decided it was check out time for us. Just don’t think we will be back after this

Smelled like mold in the room and I couldn’t open the window to air it out so I went and bought a scented candle at least that helped a little. Everything was pretty rundown and not fresh. You can hear the train really loud. Another thing that was pretty gross was that since some rooms are smoking rooms it smells of smoke in the corridor outside the rooms.

Staff at property very disrespectful, money hungry, rude, and will do anything in their power to keep your deposit. The man up front also has a habit of yelling. The rooms has a funky smell and if you use this app to stay he will pretend he can’t see the booking and proceed to try to convince you to book it again under him which will be more expensive.

There was no check in!!! I chose the option to pay at the hotel, but expedia went ahead and charged me. When i got to the hotel they wanted another deposit. Which i did not have. Also told that my reservation was for the next night. When i tried to cancel it, expedia informed me that home town in located in soddy daisy tn. And they dont do refunds so i am out the room fee

There was a deposit with a hold on my account for 1 to 3 days that wasnt stated in details, no breakfast or even coffee, the office had a screen down when i checked out and no one around at checkout. No where to leave card for checkout either. The deadbolt was broken and room had an odd smell

The woman who checked me in was SICK, coughing, sneezing and when I asked if she really needed to TOUCH my ID, she said "I don\'t have COVID!" I told her I wasn\'t scared of covid, I\'ve had it three times, but this was ridiculous.! I\'m sure we will be sick in a day or so, she should NOT have been working and sharing pens, etc. Very unfriendly asking if we had a pet and when I said no she said, a dog or a cat? like I was hiding one?!? Never stay there again!

The room was a good size, The beds were comfortable. The coffee in the room was the best ever. There was a train that was close to the property but I was never woken by it. I actually got the best sleep I have had in 6 months

We booked here because we drive an hour half for nite tournaments.. the room was clean, there was an ice machine and a vending machine in lobby.. while it served its purpose of sleeping and showering—it did not have parking for a truck and trailer..

The rooms was clean easy parking quiet expect the hotel is nearby railroad tracks and I heard two trains go through parking easy and places to eat and shop nearby

During the night 3 trains went through the area with horns blowing and rumbling May have been the atmosphere that night I stayed or I’m a light sleeper But not much rest The hotel itself was fine

We stayed at two nights on the Memorial Day weekend in 2026. We stayed outdoors most of the time, and came back only at the night time when we were ready to hit the bed. I don’t believe they have breakfast, but it didn’t matter to us. The property was clean. The room had a microwave and a refrigerator. We went around 10 PM to check in. We had to ring a bill to get the main door open, and once we were in, the front desk person came in to check us in. The check-in process was pretty smooth. For the price, this is certainly a very good place to stay at
