Room was outside accessed to separate building. Room was very clean and modern. Downside was bar area was not big enough to accommodate more than 30 people and breakfast selection was not very good croissants and pain au chocolate hard. Chaotic due to event night before

First time stay for 80th birthday four poster suites very nice and spacious clean. Second floor best for view. Breakfast excellent. Evening meal part of the events package. No choice except dietary. Tiramisu for pudding wasn't a popular choice. Thought that was strange. Bar nice area but small to cater for groups. And eventually packages. Golfers used bar too. Didn't see anywhere to sit outside. Cocktails presentation need improvement. Pool area needs decorating and changing rooms so tiny and no privacy

Lovely hotel with gym and pool area. Didn’t try the gym but pool was good. Steam room and jacuzzi which were tried. Only stayed one night and en route to the Cotswolds.

No Ac in room as I could see, very hot room and bed very uncomfortable. Room very dated and worn. Carpet leading into the bathroom was a trip hazard and threaded. The dial to put on the shower was black as was the front of the bath. Overall the place needs a lot of updating and cleaning. The noise in my bedroom was constant, all night, boiler? I did not get any sleep. I went down to the spa, the shower area was disgraceful to say the least, black mould and dirty. Even the toilets downstairs, tiles missing. The lady who served us breakfast was not at all friendly, in fact she was abrupt and not suited to customer facing work I feel. Breakfast, mainly cold as was left in containers until 9.30 and not worth 16.00 of anyones money. Not a great stay sadly and not cheap, especially the drinks, 11.60 for a double vodka and tonic. Check out very slow too. Sorry but this really needs to be addressed as it is a lovely building, so sad to set it let go like this.

The bedroom was lovely, very comfortable bed and a great nights sleep, despite the heating system being very noisy all night (room 33). The furnishings were nice and adequate for my needs. The bathroom was a little dowdy with what looked like black mould spots on the ceiling. The swimming pool was nice, and the gym (very tight and cosy) had enough equipment for 1 overnight stay. The changing rooms in the spa area were dirty and the floor was filthy when putting a towel down. The overall appearance of the changing area was not pleasant and the steam room looked like it hadn't ever been cleaned, although it did work well and generated good steam. The place is very nice on appearance, but just needs some TLC to make it very nice.

We stayed here as a stopover on our way to London, and although impressive from the outside, the hotel was really rundown and shabby. The room wasn't particularly clean, with dust on the skirting boards and bedhead, a tip to a water bottle and tea bag under the dresser, and hair in the shower to name a few problems. The breakfast and dinner were delicious if a tad pricey, and the gym and pool were great (just wish we had time to use them) but we wouldn't come back, sorry!

The Hotel is a nice building steeped in history, I was staying in the newer annex building, I have a great sized room (Willow) but not had a smell of hamsters or a rabbit hutch, I couldn't get to work out why. One radiator couldn't turn off so had to sleep with windows open and it was a very windy night. Drink prices were steep £17.00 for 2 pints I think is a lot even for a hotel. I didn't eat in the restaurant as I had heard in the whirlpool the food was very mediocre and a number of people the previous night had sent it back. So I didn't bother. Breakfast was ok... I ordered poached eggs which were hard boiled really , which always baffles me how people can get poached eggs wrong, I didn't get the items I ordered and there was a little confusion Wirth everyones orders it seemed. But all that aside everyone was polite the place is 'nice' the spa was limited but nice to have on site after a long day at a trade show. Would I return.... maybe, it was well priced but I think some standards need to be addressed to get its 4 star rating to be honest. I looked after hotel chains and it was a little lack lustre.

Friendly and pleasant staff. Quality food and service. Room very clean and warm, a few bits of maintenance required in bathroom. Corridors look a little tired but it is an old manor so kind of in-keeping.

You’re not allowed to check in until 2.30. We arrived early so waited in the bar, it needs a good clean, all the photos on the wall had been wiped over with a wet, dirty cloth leaving smeared glass. There was dust in all the corners. The room was the same with dusty areas, only 4 coat hangers. WiFi signal in the room was very weak. The dinner in the Oak Room was excellent.

We stayed in a room with a four poster bed, which obviously cost more money. You therefore don’t expect to have mould all over the bathroom ceiling. The water pressure in the shower was far too powerful which meant spray went everywhere and probably causes the mould on the ceiling. The room was pretty dated, and needs some modernisation. A fire exit was blocked by a table in the dining room which was reported to the management. The food was good but dinner in the restaurant was overpriced. The gym was very small but ok, and the pool/jacuzzi area was nice although also needed some maintenance . Staff were friendly.

Large room with lovely views. The grounds are beautiful and quiet. Easy access via car to University of Warwick. Difficult to access the hotel when an event is happening, due to the small country road and number of cars arriving at the same time. Some areas, especially in the leisure centre look a bit tired.

Absolutely stunning hotel, the grounds were amazing, the room had a 4 poster bed, which I didn’t expect so overall this stay exceeded my expectations. Will definitely be returning.

On entry the drive is terrible full of pot holes. Staff mostly helpful. Room dated but clean enough and ok for the one night stay. Could hear the above room very clearly especially running water! Breakfast is ok, staff dish it onto your plate so not a help yourself buffet. Good for the one night, reasonable price.

Stayed in a four poster room, tired around the edges, bed creaked every time you moved and dipped in the middle as not supported, mattress hard and pillows lumpy. Staff not particularly helpful when feedback given. Pool facilities average.
Stayed in a four poster room, tired around the edges, bed creaked every time you moved and dipped in the middle as not supported, mattress hard and pillows lumpy. Staff not particularly helpful when feedback given. Pool facilities average.

Lovely hotel in a beautiful setting. Only one person on the reception desk who was on the phone so had to wait a while to check in. Was told it was room only despite my insistence that breakfast was included. Eventually she found the booking and agreed that breakfast was included By this time, there were several couples waiting to check in. Our room was in a separate annexe which was lovely but unfortunately the walls between the rooms were very thin. We had several people trying our door. There didn't seem to be any signs anywhere asking people to respect other guests. We were kept awake until the early hours by noisy neighbours

Some insights from me Very basic - e.g. No fridge in the room noisy during summer holidays as families with kids staying Put in a room next to a family of 4 with children with a dividing door - could hear everything- zips being opened in their bags - imagine if they were to watch tv. The good thing was reception were quick to let me change the room (luckily there was availability) Moved to a quiet room in a remote part of the hotel but people coming back to rooms and settling in their rooms made lots of noise just when I was going to sleep. Kids learning to dive when theres no dive sign at the pool. Kids in the jacuzzi when theres a sign no kids… There was a used packaging from a bed bugs product between the bed and night table I noticed wasn’t cleaned up I had one smelly towel as if it hadn’t been washed - just dried dirty and put with clean ones by accident. The rest were fine. Waterfall shower with no moving head and no hair cap available Poor signal and internet connection- non-existent in some rooms, and poor WiFi Thin and cheap paper roll Great to have a pool and the related facilities- shame about the noisy children.

Service was great when we checked it but after that they were catering more to wedding guests. If you book the hotel try and avoid the place if they have a wedding scheduled for that period. They do not have enough staff to look after everyone. We stayed for 2 nights and didnt even get our room cleaned. I was with my kids and wasnt happy about it. I went reception to ask but no one came to clean.

We stayed at Nailcote Hall having visited previously however, this stay was a disappointment. We received an email the day before to say their keycard system was not working. On checking in we were told how to look after the card yet when arriving at our room it didn't work. We were let in by a member of staff who promised to get the manager to rectify it. After several hours with no one turning up I again informed reception and was given the same response and again no one turned up. The rooms themselves are nice and large however, the toilet flushing mechanism was sitting on top of the cistern lid instead of inside. The flush worked but was not the easiest to use, I'm surprised they put guests in the room with it in that condition. It was also an uncustomary cold August day so the room was not particular warm with no heating available. Radiator valves open but no hot water. Disappointingly the towel radiator in the bathroom was not working with one pipe's isolation valve closed so cold towels!! I raised the first 2 points with the manager in the morning just as comments as I was not interested in any form of compensation. To be fair I was assured that on contacting the hotel I will receive a free night stay the next time we are in the area. The breakfast is excellent and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Overall Nailcote Hall is a great place to stay but we felt let down on this occasion. Don't let this review put you off as the keycard issue was unfortunate.

We stayed here for two nights to go to a concert at world resorts arena. The staff were very friendly and attentive to our needs, nothing was too much trouble. The ambiance was great in all areas, the bar and restaurant friendly and clean. The food was lovely and well presented with something for everyone. The rooms were quiet even though there was a function going on, was wasn’t disturbed once. The bed was huge and comfy giving us two nights of restful sleep. I will stay again at the earliest opportunity.

No Ac in room as I could see, very hot room and bed very uncomfortable. Room very dated and worn. Carpet leading into the bathroom was a trip hazard and threaded. The dial to put on the shower was black as was the front of the bath. Overall the place needs a lot of updating and cleaning. The noise in my bedroom was constant, all night, boiler? I did not get any sleep. I went down to the spa, the shower area was disgraceful to say the least, black mould and dirty. Even the toilets downstairs, tiles missing. The lady who served us breakfast was not at all friendly, in fact she was abrupt and not suited to customer facing work I feel. Breakfast, mainly cold as was left in containers until 9.30 and not worth 16.00 of anyones money. Not a great stay sadly and not cheap, especially the drinks, 11.60 for a double vodka and tonic. Check out very slow too. Sorry but this really needs to be addressed as it is a lovely building, so sad to set it let go like this.

Poorly staffed ! Poor quality! Food quality was very very bad. I Had to get my own drink from the bar as I was not offered at my table. The Seak I order was dripping in oil, as if it had been deep fried. It was so low staffed there was not any one available to complain to. I had to go to reception!

Large room with lovely views. The grounds are beautiful and quiet. Easy access via car to University of Warwick. Difficult to access the hotel when an event is happening, due to the small country road and number of cars arriving at the same time. Some areas, especially in the leisure centre look a bit tired.

The drive & car park area needs resurfacing. The room I was allocated was a long way from the car park and it was impossible for me to carry all my luggage plus my dog to the room. Fortunately a kind member of staff told me to park at the rear of the hotel ,which wasn't advised at check-in, accessed via the golf club entrance which was much nearer the room.

I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough. We had a wondeful time, from the food to the staff to the surroundings it was a dream. No request was too big, we felt truly special as guests and we will be returning the next time we are up that way. Only 15 minutes from the Resorts World Arena, we chose to stay there two nights to be nearby for a gig instead of one of the hotels within walking distance. It was the best decision we could have made. It was such value for money, and for the price we paid we got gull access to the pool, jacuzzi and steam room, breakfast for two days and they upgraded our room without a word. We were able to comfortably work from our room and in quiet spaces in the hotel, and it was relaxing and felt easy. And if you sont drive like me then its okly a few miles from Tile Hill station and 6 mins in an uber or bolt.

The venue was lovely with lots of character. The wedding we attended was fab. The only disappointment was the breakfast it was a small room and there was no choice. It was English breakfast or nothing!

Very nice hotel, and accomadation. Service was excellent throughout. Choice of food for evening meal was very poor, so decided to go elsewhere. Breakfast was especially good. Leisure facilities, pool, and gym were of a high standard. I will return again and recommend this hotel.

Average at best. Told there was nowhere to walk or dog. The hotel is on the Coventry way. Reception not engaging or asking about guests or arrival or leaving. Room needs refurbishment Food in bar was very basic and not at all interesting to see or eat. Would not return.

We stayed in a room with a four poster bed, which obviously cost more money. You therefore don’t expect to have mould all over the bathroom ceiling. The water pressure in the shower was far too powerful which meant spray went everywhere and probably causes the mould on the ceiling. The room was pretty dated, and needs some modernisation. A fire exit was blocked by a table in the dining room which was reported to the management. The food was good but dinner in the restaurant was overpriced. The gym was very small but ok, and the pool/jacuzzi area was nice although also needed some maintenance . Staff were friendly.

Very run down building, staff hardly acknowledged us at Reception upon arrival. We were not advised in advance that there was a wedding party and an 80’s night taking place so getting to sleep was very difficult due to the music going on until 1.00pm. Toilet blocked first night and we had to change rooms. Vomit staining on bedroom carpet. They say they are pet friendly but part way through our breakfast we were asked to move out of the restaurant into the bar as we had our Cockerpoo Rosie with us - they could have told us this information upon arrival. Shower was poor - no water if next door having a shower at the same time! Staff not interested in feedback.

Breakfast excellent. Bar staff a bit slow but they got there! We had a great stay meeting up with friends. Restaurant staff coped well with us and we really appreciated the guy coming out into the gardens with menus and then calling on us to say the food was ready. Very proactive. Would come back.

Perfect location but the decor is a little tired plenty of staff but service at both dinner and breakfast was very slow and disorganised. The leisure facilities need an urgent upgrade.
