Absolutely lovely Hotel nice gardens lovely clean room spotless bathroom lovely big bed and great breakfast. Staff lovely nothing a bother to them will definitely be back .Only downside was spa and pool closed but can’t be helped if closed for maintenance maybe next time look forward to trying that out .

Rooms are lovely and warm. Breakfast is absolutely superb. Probably the best breakfast of any hotel I have stayed in. Did try the gym which is popular with the locals and it's good. Plenty of car parking but because of the popularity of the gym you might be round the back. Evening meal also high standard.

Staff genuinely friendly, polite and are always happy to be helpful, even above and beyond the call of duty. That coupled with the well kept and gorgeous building and surrounding land, made my stay perfect. The atmosphere and ambiance of the hotel itself, and then the back drop of a beautiful sky and horizon, and the woodlands surrounding, it’s just the perfect place to quickly, but with slow luxury, be able to unwind and recharge at the same time. Rooms always spotless, the pool is fabulous. Always great food in the evenings, with a great variety of tasty dishes. Lovely aesthetic bar with a good selection. Beautiful garden dining and drinks area that spills out onto the larger garden area which naturally leads into the woodlands. A spectacle of nature at night. Solid breakfast options. Great parking facilities. Safe surroundings. The staff. The staff. The staff. Consistently doing their job of making you feel like you’re at home, and like you’re a valued part of the family.

We had a nice stay overall. The spa was great and very relaxing. Dinner was good and breakfast was OK. However, the bed wasn’t very comfortable, and the walls are quite thin — we could hear noise from other rooms. Nice staff and atmosphere, but sleep quality could be improved.

Had a lovely 1 night stay at Balbeggie. Room was lovely with a lovely view out over the garden. Food was delicious with plenty of choice. Fantastic cocktails at a really good price. All staff were so lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay here and we will be back.

Beautiful building! quiet neighbourhood. Friendly staff and kind service. But very outdated structure. Humid, no AC, no ventilation. ''Make up room" means change towels and empty trash. They don't really clean it. Expedia advertized they have AC and Laundry service but they don't. and it's far from transportation so you need a car.

One receptionist dealing with phones and check-ins resulted in waits to check-in. Overall hotel is clean and tidy but individual rooms (our party had 3 rooms) were a bit dated and some unwanted stains. Staff were extremely helpful and polite. Good facilities. No complaints from us.

The room was nice, unfortunately, there was no fridge or microwave. The bathroom only had a tub/shower, so if you can't get into a tub to shower it will be a challenge.

This was an amazing hotel only issue we had with our garden rooms was the water pressure of the hot dropped dramatically and meant we couldn’t even use water from the tap or use the showers.

Whilst not a luxury hotel, it is clean and comfortable. Cooked breakfast was great and the staff are wonderful. Small bar that could do with a wider selection of drinks but it was adequate for a short stay.

Stayed for a wedding, despite the rain, the hotel was lovely, slightly disappointed at breakfast staff were run off their feet, so it took longer to get breakfast, a buffet service would be better

We spent a lovely night. The hotel was comfortable and the atmosphere was calm and peaceful. The stairs were easy to manage. The staff were nice, but I would say that in the dining room, they were short-handed. The food was delicious and the half portion, was just perfect for me. I would definitely go back again.

Room and bed were great, no problems. Went down for breakfast and there were 2 members of staff serving. Around 10 guests at the time. Firstly, there was no milk available for the cereal, but in fairness, they did deal with that promptly. Here's where it went wrong. 2 couples arrived after me and were asked straight away if they wanted tea or coffee. I was still to be asked. After 15 minutes, I asked for coffee and it begrudgingly arrived. Then the 2 couples were asked for their food order. I still hadn’t been asked! I waited 30 minutes, their food arrived and I eventually gave up and walked out. If it was busy, fine, mistakes happen. This was no mistake but utterly disgusting service.

After 15 minutes, I asked for coffee and it begrudgingly arrived. Then the 2 couples were asked for their food order. I still hadn’t been asked! I waited 30 minutes, their food arrived and I eventually gave up and walked out. If it was busy, fine, mistakes happen. This was no mistake but utterly disgusting service.

Bright lights coming on outside during the night and shining in the windows and under the doors of the family room area. As well as noise from equipment. Children were constantly being awakened. Hotel knew how many breakfasts were booked under the same same name, yet when we showed up in the morning we were treated like an inconvenience. Staff did not want to even give us a butter knife for toast already on the kids place until they were ready to set the table. We were told the toast to accompany our full breakfast was being prepared in the kitchen, but it never arrived. Bar staff were slow and made errors. The staff requires training to better focus on the guests and the experience. This is such a beautiful location. Best Western needs to improve the outside housekeeping. Looks likes plant pots full of dead plants all around the property. Having a pool was a draw to us booking this location, but it closes at 6pm and so the last swim time is 5:15. I suggest 9pm would be more appropriate. We travel a lot and this is the first time I have ever given such negative comments on Expedia. This is such a beautiful location and it wouldn’t take much to make this a superior experience. Best Western needs to improve the management by investing in training and looking at things through the eyes of the guests. It’s not complicated.

Had a lovely 1 night stay at Balbeggie. Room was lovely with a lovely view out over the garden. Food was delicious with plenty of choice. Fantastic cocktails at a really good price. All staff were so lovely and helpful. Would definitely recommend a stay here and we will be back.

One receptionist dealing with phones and check-ins resulted in waits to check-in. Overall hotel is clean and tidy but individual rooms (our party had 3 rooms) were a bit dated and some unwanted stains. Staff were extremely helpful and polite. Good facilities. No complaints from us.

Beautiful building! quiet neighbourhood. Friendly staff and kind service. But very outdated structure. Humid, no AC, no ventilation. ''Make up room" means change towels and empty trash. They don't really clean it. Expedia advertized they have AC and Laundry service but they don't. and it's far from transportation so you need a car.

That coupled with the well kept and gorgeous building and surrounding land, made my stay perfect. Cannot find fault - Very quiet location. Time restraints meant that we didn’t have a chance to use the facilities so can’t comment on the pool etc but the hotel building was very nice and full of character. We’ll probably book here again next time we’re in the area.

This is a beautiful place. The room and bathroom were enormous and the back French door opened onto a lush lawn and garden in full bloom. The staff was friendly and the food was excellent. This would be a great base camp for exploring the Kingdom of Fife to its fullest.

Stayed here for a few nights before heading back to Canada, at the end of a long Scotland-visit. This hotel was in decent proximity to our last round of golf and the airport. Grounds are quite nice, very quiet setting, made for a lovely stay. Also the restaurant on site did a fantastic job for us, we ate here both nights because they had a great vegan menu and this met my wife’s requirements… amazing, I was so pleased with the food. The room we got was not very deluxe, despite that being the category we chose. It was on the second floor and had no view except a roof-top and a parking lot. Still, the bed was fine and there was enough space in this room for us to do all our final packing for the trip home. Parking was free, so that was nice. I was VERY please with this stay, and would recommend it. Well done BW Balegeddie!

Slightly disappointed not to find a fridge in the room but, even more disappointed/concerned that, contrary to the Hotels.com booking site, there is no air conditioning in the room as it was one of the main reasons for choosing this hotel. The staff were very helpful and soon managed to provide us with a couple of fans. The food in the restaurant was very nice and reasonably priced.

L'hotel sembra composto da più strutture annesse, noi ad esempio per raggiungere la nostra camera che era basic attraversavamo una zona classica molto curata che dava l'idea di un 4 stelle ma poi ci ritrovavamo in un corridoio che sembrava decisamente di categoria inferiore. Molto apprezzata la piscina interna

The young lady on reception was very helpful, and gave us all the information before I even asked the questions, then when I complimented her she said “thank you, I’ve only been here a few weeks”! Well keep her on……… Sadly we thought breakfast was until 11 am, but it finished at 10 am, that’s our fault for not paying attention. That’s our first stay but it won’t be our last. It’s not budget price hotel, but your getting g more than excellent in all fields for a few pounds more.

The staff were lovely and very helpful. The room was spacious. My only issues were, the lighting in the en-suite was very dull, especially for making sure that you had taken all your makeup off, never mind trying to put it on. Both push buttons for the toilet were exceedingly stiff. I had to use both hands to try and push the button enough for it to flush. My only other quibble and the staff could do nothing about that, was the inconsiderate guests, going into their rooms at half two and half three in the morning. Banging the doors and talking loudly.
