Flott, sjarmerende hotell, godt vedlikeholdt. Flotte gamle bygninger, fint modernisert. 2 restauranter. Fine rom. Dårlig ‘spa’; ett basseng og en badstue som begge fremsto slitt.

The hotel looks great at forst impression, the room was clean and very nice. On closer inspection the hotel could do with a little maintenance to bring it to a good standard, for example the patio needs weeding, several lockers in the spa do not work and there are cracks and broken glass in the restaurant windows. I would say we were disappointed with the restaurant. The food was not great, not cooked to the request (asked for medium rare steak and got it basically eaw in the middle; the duck breast came out with the skin not cooked/crispy), the black forest gateau was dry and chewy at the same time. I would have put it to the bad day, but the next morning the cooked breakfast was also below expetatikns, with most of the food being served barely look warm and the scrambled eggs looked very questionable. Long story short I came home with very upset tummy. If you are staying in the hotel I would suggest to eat somewhere else.

Lovely rural location and welcome at Reception. Room ready early. Lovely characterful room. Good amenities. Food great but a little on the expensive side. Good Spa facilities. Treatment good choice. Changing rooms felt a bit dated and lockers difficult to operate. Great cooked to order breakfast and great quality. Would stay again.

It was fine. spa is a dated, room was dusty and no shower just a bath in the bathroom. The bed was comfortable and thr staff were helpful and friendly.

This is a lovely hotel in a nice quiet location when beautiful views Check-in great and the room had everything you need - be nice to have had a bottle of water. Restaurant looked great but didn't try it. Lunchtime snacks ok but did think I'd get a fresh cooked club sandwich Not just a cold filling inside water toast. Spa was great and I look forward to trying i venue in warmer to make use of outside
