The Birch Hotel

Breakfast is now a Buffet but it’s refreshed more often than similar venues. Room was in a good condition. Staff are helpful and empathetic.

Everyone was really helpful. A little tired in public areas would be only issue. We had a problem regulating the temperature in the shower, but they allowed us to use another unoccupied room to have our showers. Breakfast was great quality and taste.

I have been staying at the Birch Hotel for years. It’s comfortable and clean but what I like is it has character not like a typical plastic hotel! Staff always give a warm welcome and helpful with special requests. Bar food is ok a little on the pricey side (maybe normal though these days) and basic but something for everyone. As it is close to the town centre I expect a lot of guests generate towards the high street restaurants so no need for a more comprehensive menu. A nice place to wind down after a days work ( in my case).

Lovely hotel , staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was plentiful and nice, room was nicely decorated and spacious, The wardrobes and chest of drawers were dated but apart from that all good

Stayed in quiet a few hotels over night this one was the best so far, well pleased clean modern nice beds nice shower & bath etc good breakfast would recommend
