The house is as amazing as described in the reviews. Really peaceful and relaxing, sat in nature. We loved - the books, the birds in the garden, the fire, the cosy dining room, the baths, the walks, the pub, and the nice touches Maria had waiting for our arrival. Would love to go again.

It is a beautiful cottage, set in a lovely location, and had everything we could have wanted. A real home from home. Maria is an excellent host who went above and beyond what we expected. Would thoroughly recommend Acorn Cottage and hope to return sometime in the future.

We celebrated my husbands 60th birthday here with family. Our host Maria left cake, card and gift for our granddaughter which was so very thoughtful. There was nothing to complain about, we loved it and would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family.

Everything you would ever need for a stay, an amazing host (Maria) a great cottage with everything you need, well located, including a short walk to Lyndhurst and a short drive everywhere else. Lots of walks for the dogs and great recommendations for local restaurants!
